"You're scared? Scared of what, bub?" Yoongi asks. Although he has a clue of what's bothering Jungkook, he wants to hear it from his son.

"Leaving. I don't want to go."

Yoongi's tempted right then to hug the younger tight and tell him to stay because he himself isn't ready to say goodbye to his son but he stops himself. He squeezes his eyes shut and breathes to calm himself and get his emotions under control.

"I feel too much and at the same time, I feel blank. I want to go but at the same time, I'm scared to leave. I don't want to go. I'm not prepared for this, dad. I'm not r-ready. I don't want to g-go."

And Jungkook is sobbing again, body shaking with the force of each sob. Yoongi resumes drawing patterns on his back and presses light kisses to his hair. He's emotional himself but he decides now is not the time to give in to his emotions. He needs to be strong here for Jungkook.

He swallows a lump in his throat. He knows this feeling of getting cold feet. He doesn't say anything, let's Jungkook cry it out.
