The room was silent as student and mentor stared at the burning remains of the healing hat.

The one thing, the ONLY thing, that could've cured Eda and given her a new chance at a "normal" life was gone.

And it was all HER fault.

"Now both of you, put you-"

"Eda?" Luz asked, interrupting Lilith.

"Yes?" Eda asked her student.

"Can I kill Lilith?" Luz asked, her veins slowly building from anger.

"I don't think I could possibly stop you." Eda said.

Before Lilith could say anything, she was tackled through the wall and thrown into a tree. Luz's eyes were glowing red and she... was... PISSED.

'All of our hardworking to save Eda, FUCKING DOWN THE DRAIN!' Devil side shouted in anger, burning with flames and rage.

'And it's her own sister! It's like Lilith cares more about being right than saving Eda!' Angel side said, absolutely outrage by this audacity! 'I never thought I'd say this, but Luz, KILL THIS FUCKING BITCH AND DEFILE HER CORPSE!'

'Trust me... she's going to WISH I did that.' Luz thought, holding up her iconic red fireball.

"You like to play with fire huh?" Luz asked, "Well you know what they say about that!"

Luz threw fireball after fireball at Lilith, wishing more than anything that one of them will reduce her into nothing but a pile of ash. Lilith herself was moving with lightning magic, dodging each fireball as she saw each tree burn into ashes!

'She's more dangerous than I thought!' She thought.

Lilith thought her magic would make her fast enough... she was wrong as Luz grabbed her by the neck. Luz tightened her grip enough that Lilith was starting to match her hair. Luz raised her other arm and delivered a strong punch to Lilith's chest, shattering the gem on her dress, and sending her through a few trees. Lilith swore her ribs were now dust... until Luz literally DROPPED a tree on her... now her ribs were dust.

"You had better of died from that, because if not, I am about to rain hell on you!" Luz said.

Lilith used some construction magic and pushed the tree off herself. Luz charged at her, holding two pentagrams in her hands. She threw one at Lilith, who dodged it, but was unable to block the second one, which blew up and knocked her back into the second one that was stuck to the ground behind her, blowing up again. Luz ran at Lilith and grabbed her, lifted her in a powerbomb position, and slammed her through a large rock.

"You're going to pay for what you did!" Luz said, grabbing Lilith's hair and punching her in the side of the head.

Coughing up blood, Lilith powered through the pain as she quickly blasted Luz back with lightning and began healing herself as fast as she could.

"I...I must endure." Lilith said, spitting up blood and a few teeth. "I-I cannot fail when I'm so close!"

"SO CLOSE TO DEATH!" Luz shouted as she summons her book and pulls out two weapons!

Two large battle axes... she wasn't going to make this quick. Luz slashed at Lilith, who quickly jumped, as flying air slashes destroyed multiple trees in front of her!

'With just one slash?!' Lilith thought as Luz looked up at her!

"I'll carve your bony ass into little cubes!" Luz shouted, slashing more at Lilith.

Acting quickly, Lilith spun and create a tornado to block all of the attacks. That might've distracted Luz for a bit, but Lilith had another problem.

"Now to deal with-"

Lilith was grabbed by the back of her head and slammed head first into a tree by Eda.

"Lilith... I'm going to fucking kill you." Eda said, scarily calm.

Eda grabbed a fist full of Lilith's hair and pulled her by it. She threw Lilith to the ground, ripping off most of her hair in the process and resulting in Lilith's hair only reaching her should on one side and reaching her ear on the other. Lilith cringed, as one would if 90% of your hair was forcibly ripped from your skull.

"If you're in pain now you aren't ready for what I'm about to do next." Eda said, calling her staff to her.

Eda caught it and she started to glow yellow, before moving at fast speed and slamming the staff against Lilith, sending her high into the air.

'Ow! I had just healed my ribs!' Lilith thought as he rib case was shattered again!

Eda didn't stop as she appeared behind her and attacked, making Lilith turn and block with her staff! And kept blocking as Eda kept throwing wild swings.

"Edalyn, listen! I'm trying to help you!" Lilith begged, blocking each erratic attack.

"By destroying the only thing that could've cured me?!" Eda shouted.

"Emperor Belos can cure you!" Lilith said, "You just have to listen to reason!"

"He doesn't care about me OR you! He just wants to control me!" Eda shouted, grabbing Lilith's staff and pulling her into a headbutt!

"GUH!" Lilith grunts as her nose broke!

"That's all he ever wanted! To control people and use them like tools!" Eda shouted as she threw Lilith towards the ground.

Lilith spun wildly before Luz appeared and slapped her away with one axe!

"If you want to make your death as painless as possible, which will still be the same as someone being pulled apart limb by limb, then stay down." Luz said.

Lilith crashed to the ground, all of her bones broken once again as some of her organs were bleeding internally. Yet even so, Lilith forced herself to stand and used as much healing magic as she could before staring up at Eda and Luz.

'This is madness. Edalyn is even more irrational than usual!' Lilith thought, wiping blood from her lips. And Luz... Lilith clearly underestimated just how strong she can be when mad.

This was more than just a mission, this was life and death! Lilith had come across this feeling countless times, but this was trumped all other precious feelings. If she's not careful or lets her guard down for even a second, she's going to be killed or brutalized to the point she'll be bedridden for life!

'I have no choice. I-I have to use them, or else I won't be able to leave with my sister and my life!' Lilith thought as she stopped using healing magic and reached into her what was left of hair.

Tapping her staff on the ground, Lilith summoned several magic glyph patches from out of her hair and peeled them!

'Those are healing and power glyphs!' Eda thought in shock.

"STOP LILY!" Eda screamed in a panic.

But it was too late as all of them were slapped allow over Lilith's' arms or waist. Lilith felt the power surging through her, making her become stronger, more dangerous, and even grow larger muscles.

"RAAAAAAH!" She roared like a beast, her magical power exploding around her as her eyes lost their pupils!

'Win! I must win! I WILL WIN!' Lilith thought, focus remaining as she gazed up towards Luz and Eda.

Both who were surprised by the sudden bulk up and high increase of magic power.

'Well, now I know what magic steroid use looks like.' Luz thought.

Luz threw her axes at Lilith, but one just bounced off and the other had no effect on Lilith, it was like getting an axe to the shoulder was a bee sting.

"Hehehehe. Doesn't even sting." Lilith chuckled, her voice deeper, as she pulled the axe out of her skin.

"Luz, we need to stop Lilith NOW." Eda said, watching the tiny cut heal in a second. "That many glyph patches on one witch-"

"-Will kill her? I can assume as much since it looks like steroids on overload. Her body is gonna give out from too much." Luz said but had no problem with that killing Lilith.

She just wanted it to happen by her own hands.

"How fast can you go?" Luz asked Eda.

"Like lightning, literally." Eda said, glancing at her gem for a moment. "You, kid?"

"Faster." Luz said, "We have to get those glyphs off her."

"Exactly. Her mind seems to be intact for now but before long, it'll turn to mush. Even Lily doesn't deserve that." Eda said, spinning her staff.

Eda looked at her gem, seeing it starting to fill up with black, before she lunged towards Lilith in a burst of speed. She shoulder tackled her and knocked her back into the trees.

"Grrrr! Too weak!" Lilith shouted as she raised her arm.

Eda quickly dodged but the wind pressure blew her back as Lilith charged at her for a punch! Only for black chains to appear from the ground and drag Lilith underground! In a cave underground, Luz yanked the chains, pulling Lilith close before giving a kick to Lilith, sending her to the other side of the cave.

"You know, there's a saying in the human realm... When you knock on the gates of hell, don't be surprised when the devil answers... Lilith... you've knocked the gates down." Luz said, "And this devil is VERY angry."

Luz got on all fours and started running at Lilith, before jumping up and punching Lilith... for someone who supposedly has invincibility... Lilith sure has a glass jaw. Lilith landed on the ground and Luz walked over to her.

"That all you got? I expected more from you now that you're all juiced up!" Luz said, shaking her head.

"Then how's this!?" Lilith shouted as she jumped up, punching Luz right in the stomach.

The demon just smirked.

"Exactly."

Luz ran and jumped up, delivering a drop kick to Lilith, sending her back towards the cave wall, before running and slamming her though it for several meters. Until Lilith dug her feet in and stopped Luz, jumping and pulling through back to the surface before going high into the air!

"How about this?!" Lilith shouted before pulling back, suplexing Luz into the earth.

Luz just smiled creepily.

"You can break my body, but you can't kill me, you don't have that same problem." Luz said.

Twisting and contorting her body, Luz held onto Lilith as she stood up and slammed her into the ground twice as hard.

"Now, why don't we see how hard I have to hit you in order to permanently break your ribs." Luz said, beginning to deliver strong punches at Lilith's ribs.

Lilith responded with a back hand that sent Luz off her. Lilith started to get up when she was hit from behind by Eda moving at high speed.

"Ruh!" Lilith grunt before widely blasting magic in multiple directions.

Eda put up a magic barrier to block it, which made the barrier crack.

"Lily, you are in actual danger!" Eda said.

"So are you with your curse!" Lilith shouted back, still firing widely.

"No! Those patches are gonna kill you if you don't stop using them!" Eda shouted as she slammed her staff into the ground, creating multiples Hooty clones from stone.

The clones went after Lilith, but she destroyed them with her incredible strength.

"Give up, Edalyn, it's over." Lilith said.

Lilith started to move towards Eda, but was stopped as her body and made sudden stiff movements until she was incapable of moving. Eda looked over and saw Luz with her book in one hand, the other hand extended and had a faint black glow around it, and solid black eyes.

"Eda, I crystalized her blood, she can't move, get rid of the glyphs!" Luz said, as the glow started to fade, "I can't... hold it... for long... forbidden spell."

"R-Right! I got it!" Eda said quickly.

'That is one terrifying yet useful spell!' Eda thought.

She can tell by Luz's black eyes that this was something that she doesn't want Luz to use after this. Eda ran and used her magic to blast the glyphs, hoping there wasn't any lasting damage to Lilith.

"Ugh!" Lilith grunted, feeling the rush of magic fading from her system.

Luz unleashed her hold as Lilith's muscles painfully shrunk back to normal, but no blood was spilled as the healing patches effects were still active. But even without them, Lilith still wasn't ready to give up. Luz was on the ground, that spell taking most of her energy from her.

"Huh! Huh! Fuck, I hate spells that take a lot out of me." Luz muttered.

"Kid, you okay?" Eda asked, appearing next to her.

"Y-yeah I..." Luz was on the brink of passing out.

"Don't worry, Kid, I'll-"

Eda was hit from behind by Lilith's staff.

"I'm done playing this game Edalyn, it's getting old."

"The only old thing here is you." Eda said, standing up with her staff in hand, "I want you off my property, or else."

Lilith looked at Eda's gem, seeing it starting to turn black more by the second.

'Her curse has gotten stronger, she's going to turn at any moment now.' Lilith thought as she slowly got up.

"No, I'm not leaving without you... and not before I send that girl back from where she came." Lilith said, ready for another fight.

Eda glared and slammed her staff on the ground, creating a massive magic blast that was shaped like an owl, before rushing off towards Lilith. Lilith did the same and a light blue blast of magic covered her, shaped like a Raven. The two collided and the people on the knee could feel the ground shake from the power the two immitted. Even Belos himself was feeling the surge of magic from his throne, actually impressed by it.

'Excellent, Lilith. I knew you wouldn't disappoint me.' He thought, expecting Lilith to win or else she's fired/DEAD.

The two ended up in the sky, having a battle that would make galaxies colliding look like sparklers. Luz, while still recovering from her magic exhaustion, could only watch from below in awe. Eda and Lilith were even more powerful than she ever thought.

'Damn, it's like when dad told me about the time heaven and hell fought... really glad they covered that up with a meteor... feel a bit bad for the dinosaurs though.' Luz thought.

A random bolt of magic energy struck the ground next to her, making Luz gaze at the smoking crater.

"Cool." She said.

Eda hit Lilith hard enough to send her to the ground.

"Give up, Lilith!" Eda yelled.

"No, I won't give up." Lilith said.

"You're not able to keep up with me, even at my weakest!" Eda said, charging down towards Lilith.

Lilith dodged and shoulder tackled Eda, knocking her away.

"You always thought you were better, that you were stronger than me!" Lilith said, firing magic at Eda.

"I AM better than you!" Eda said, firing her own magic at Lilith.

The two beams of magic collided and made a shockwave that knocked trees down for at least a miles around the house. Lilith was getting frustrated, as Eda's beam was starting to get closer. She had one way to get Eda to lower her guard.

"Is that why it was so easy to curse you!" Lilith shouted.

Eda dropped her hands, stopped firing magic, and went wide eyed. Lilith smirked.

"We can go back to the way things were, if you just accept-"

Eda charged at Lilith and punched her, knocking a tooth out. Eda landed on the ground, shocked. Eda straddled her and started to deliver punches out of pure rage.

"I trust you!" Eda screamed, in between punches, "You were my sister, my best friend!"

Eda grabbed Lilith by the neck and lifted her off the ground.

"We were going to be the best duo in the Boiling Isles!"

Eda slammed Lilith onto the ground, before throwing her against a large boulder.

"You said you'd always be there for me!" Eda yelled, "You ruined my life!"

Eda charged at Lilith and slammed her through the boulder.

"I lost the love of my life!"

Eda punched Lilith.

"I nearly killed our father!"

Another punch.

"I'm constantly worried about what will happen when I can't stop the curse!"

Eda threw Lilith in the air, before flying after her and grabbing her. Eda delivered the highest spinebuster in the world, slamming Lilith back to the ground. Eda stood over Lilith, her eyes black.

"All... because of YOU."

Eda's gem filled and she became the owl beast. The owl beast roared at Lilith and slammed its claws into her stomach.

"AAAAAAAH!" Lilith screamed in pain, feeling her blood pooling in her stomach and her mouth as she tried to push her sister off.

Luz saw Eda impaling the bitch and knew she had to intervene. Luz summoned all her strength and ran and tackled Eda. Sure she wanted Lilith dead... but she wanted Eda to be in her right mind. Luz opened her book, knowing she has to find something to fix this. As she was looking through her book, she felt something wet thrown on her... that's when she felt extreme pain and fell to the ground, dropping her book.

"AHHHH!" Luz screamed as her body started smoking.

Lilith just closed the bottle that Belos had given her to use incase Luz had more fight left.

"So, that's what this... oh what did he call it... Holy Water... does." Lilith said, before turning her attention to Eda, "Now for you."

She used a bubble spell to contain Eda in a blue magic bubble. She then reached down and used the bubble spell and Holy Water to trap the book, and prevent Luz from being able to summon it.

"There, now I think it's time I leave." Lilith said, intentionally walking on Luz's head as she walked towards Eda's bubble, "Now let's get you healed."

Lilith got on her staff and flew away with the book and Eda. Luz just looked on, unable to get up as the Holy Water had burned her skin to the point she couldn't handle the pain. She reached her arm out, but that dropped and she passed out.
