A few days later, Eda and Luz were walking on the Knee.

"I still can't believe you managed to talk me into going and cleaning the school!" Eda said, 'You better pull a lot of pranks when you're there, or else I'll... damn it, I can't do anything to you!"

"Yeah, yeah, now what are we doing here?" Luz asked.

A few heavy breathes got closer and Cat climbed up the small cliff, before laying on the ground, exhausted.

"And... why did... I have to come!?" Cat asked.

"Because I wanted you to." Luz said.

"We're here, because this is the only place I can get ingredients for the Barking potion." Eda said, "Because those are the best way to get those Coven Stooges... and Lilith... to back off."

"B-But why am I here?! I'm a healing student, not potions! Boscha would've been a better choice." Cat said, catching her breath.

"But your healer experience lets you know what's poison and what's not." Eda said.

"Besides, I already went on an adventure with the other three." Luz said, "So it's your turn."

"Do I have a choice?" Cat asked.

"Yes, but our friends all agreed in a vote." Luz said before hugging Cat with one arm. "So let's just enjoy the adventure and learn about wild magic! You might like it."

Cat hated this... on many levels, but she wasn't going to argue with the demon that was trying to be friendly with her.

"So what's first in our "adventure?"" Cat asked.

"Eda, please explain." Luz said, looking at the witch.

"Well, we're going to be going to the old ruins and-"

Luz pushed Eda, just in time as a fireball flew right by where she was standing. Luz growled.

"Cat, stay here, I'm going to go see who almost set my teacher on fire." Luz said.

Luz stomped over, jumping over a small stone wall and came face to face with-

"... Sup, babe." Luz said, smiling at Amity.

Amity blushed a bit before smiling at Luz.

"H-h-hi, Luz." Amity said, holding a hand out.

Luz took it and removed the glove, giving Amity's hand a kiss. Luz put the glove back on Amity's hand and smiled.

"So, what are you doing here?" Luz asked.

"Oh, uh, I'm training. I'm trying to master a new spell for next semester's entrance exam." Amity said, "I'm trying to beat Emira's high score."

"Oh Mittens, that's impossible!" Emira said, poking out over Amity's shoulder.

"She still needs to use a training wand." Edric said, poking over the other shoulder.

Luz gave them a bit of a glare.

"You two better not be trying to prank her still."

The two back up a bit, still slightly scared of Luz... and hoping she didn't have that picture of them dressed in baby stuff.

"I'm... going to go read my healing book." Emira said, walking away.

Edric followed her.

"Huh, I could've sworn that Edric was the- wait a minute!" Luz said, "They're still in each other's bodies! That was a week and a half ago!"

"Yeah, they uh... they... are more comfortable in each other's body." Amity said, "To be honest, I've kind of thought they were both trans, and you doing that kind of just made it easier."

"Really? So by switching their bodies, I did a good thing for them?" Luz asked, feeling a surprising amount of warmth growing in her chest.

"Yeah, you did." Amity said, "So, Edric now goes by Emira, and Emira now goes by Edric. Please don't let anyone else know, they're a bit nervous with it being new and everything."

"My lips are sealed." Luz said, "Now... about the fireball that nearly killed my teacher."

"Oh, I am... very sorry about that." Amity said, "There wasn't supposed to be anyone here, and-"

"Sorry Amity, but that's a mistake that will cost you." Luz said.

Luz put her hands on Amity's cheeks and looked around her head... before planting a kiss on her forehead, making the girl blush so much the snow beneath her began to melt.

"There, you're forgiven." Luz said.

"Hey... I've wanted to ask... why do you do that?"

"Do what?"

"Why do you kiss everywhere but my lips?" Amity asked, as if she was actually offended that Luz didn't kiss her there, "I've grown used to everything else being kissed, but why not my lips?"

"Because just the way you act makes me know that it would be your first kiss... I want to be special." Luz said.

Amity blushed again as she looked away, hiding a tiny smile she had on her lips.

"Okay, WHEN did this happen?!" Cat shouted, making herself known.

"Fuck off Cat!" Amity said, flustered.

"Hmm... no."

"They say curiosity killed the cat." Amity said.

"Bitch, I have nine lives." Cat said.

"Then I'll kill you nine times!" Amity shouted at her.

"Try it, bitch!" Cat shouted.

'Should we stop them?' Angel side asked.

'Ahahahahahaha! Hell no! This is a real life cat fight!' Devil side said with a laugh.

Luz grabbed the two and pushed them away from each other.

"Okay, no more of this, we have things to do." Luz said, pushing Cat back towards Eda.

Cat jumped over her and climbed up a tree to get back over to Amity. Luz opened her book and held her hand out. Cat got covered in a black outline and pulled back towards Luz.

"Okay, that's enough out of you." Luz said, "I have several questions about that but that can wait until later. Bye Amity, see you later."

"Bye and by the way, keep your cat on a lease." Amity joked with a grin.

Cat literally growled. Luz looked down and saw literal claws coming from her nails.

'What the home? Is she actually a cat?' Luz thought.

"Calm down, kitty cat." Luz said, scratching behind Cat's ear, like you would a cat.

She calmed down.

"Interesting." Eda said with a grin.

"Kind of like how you act like an owl with shiny things." Luz comments, "Honestly, I should take Amity's advice and put you two on leashes. If she acts like a cat and you act like an owl, how are we going to get this thing done?"

"You are not putting a leash on me." Cat said as she came to her senses and pushed the hand away.

"Me either, that's only for special dates." Eda muttered. "Back to the topic at hand, let's find what we need."

"Okay, let's go."

Cat and Luz followed Eda as they went to an empty spot away from the Blights and the ruins, pulling out several tools from her hair to set up camp.

"Now, glasses, why don't you go get wood, Luz... I need your strength and immunity to fire to hold this cauldron up while I get a fire started."

"Easy." Luz said.

"Why do I have to get wood?" Cat asked.

"Because you're gonna learn something. Now go." Eda said.

Cat groaned, but did as she was told. She left the duo to find firewood, any kind of wood that looked good. Broken, fallen, or even dead; Cat got them all and brought them back to the camp site.

"Good kitty." Eda said, patting Cat on the head.

"Prrrrrr." Cat purred before she knocked Eda's hand away. "Stop that!"

"Seriously, are you actually part cat or something?" Luz asked.

"So what if I am?" Cat asked, "My grandfather was a cat demon, and I inherited a bit from that side of my family."

"So... when you said you had nine lives-"

"I actually have nine lives." Cat said, "If I die, I will come back to life the next day."

"Then why are you afraid of me?" Luz asked.

"Because you give off predatory vibes." Cat said, "My instincts are screaming at me to get away from you."

Cat noticed that Luz was looking away from her.

"What are you looking at... oh, Titan."

Luz was looking at Amity and the twins. They were still practicing, drawing a circle with the training wand and using a fire spell to destroy a tree.

'Hot, literally.' Luz thought with a grin.

Emira put a hand on Amity's back.

"Not bad, Sis."

"Thanks Ed-I mean, Emira." Amity said, "Sorry, still getting used to that."

"It's fine, it's the voices isn't it?" Emira said, pointing to her mouth. "The only thing the body swap let us keep us our original voices but I don't mind. We can probably find a spell to change that at some point."

"Maybe there's a potion I can make for that." Edric said, walking over to them with a bat demon in his hands, "Also, look at this cutie I found!"

"Please tell me you don't want to cook him." Amity said.

"What? No! I don't want to eat him, I wanna keep him as a pet." Edric said before holding the bag out to them. "Look at that face, how could anyone eat him?"

The bat bit down on Edric's hand.

"Aw, it's love biting!" Edric said.

"Edric, put the bat down, it's foaming at the mouth." Amity said.

"No! He's my friend!" Edric said, running away.

"I can heal him." Emira said, "Edric, get back here!"

Emira rushed off as Amity out put down her wand and practice spell book down to help Emira. Luz chuckled at the sight.

"Are you just going to ogle at Amity all day?" Cat asked.

"Maybe." Luz said, "I am all powerful, I can do literally whatever I want."

"Or you're just a teenager that's mad with power and knows no limits." Cat said blandly.

"I'll have you know, I do have and do know my limits." Luz said to her.

"Yeah, that's why you act the way you do." Cat said.

"You really don't have good opinions on me, do you?" Luz asked.

"To be honest... No." Cat said, crossing her arms, "The only things I've seen you do is throw your weight around and scare everyone around you in order to get what you want. You think the world is your oyster, but the truth is, you're just a spoiled demonic princess, that has no problem running over anyone to get what you want."

Cat walked away from Luz, leaving her there.

"Hey, Kid, where's the cat demon going?" Eda asked.

"..." Luz didn't say anything, still mulling over what Cat just said to her.

"You good Kid?"

"... Yeah... just... thinking." Luz said.

She glared at the back of Cat's head as she walked away.

'You're lucky I'm not the person you think I am, or else I would set you on fire.'

'I say just do it! This bitch doesn't know you and what you've been through!' the Demon side shouted in rage.

'No! If we do that, we'd only be proving Cat right. We just have to let Cat get to know us.' the Angel side said, trying to be the voice of reason.

'Fucking hell, can you two just NOT do this right now?' Luz thought.

'Then when?!' the demon side shouted.

'When we don't have something important to do, no quiet down.' Luz thought.

Since Cat clearly didn't like her, Luz decided to see what the twins were doing.

"Ed! Give us the bat!" Emira shouted.

"No! He's my little Shadow now!" Edric shouted, holding his new pet close.

"You guys need any help?" Luz asked.

"YES!" Emira all but screamed as she was getting tired.

"Please!" Amity said, also tired.

Luz walked over to Edric.

"Luz, help me!" Edric shouted at her.

"Cute bat." Luz said, "But, it would seem that he's rabid. If you got bitten, that means you have rabies. How about, you let Emira heal you and the bat, and then you can keep him as a pet?"

"What? Why?" Edric said, pulling his pet away.

"Cuz rabies can be fatal in my world and I assume just as much in this world." Luz said, "Besides, you don't want that little cutie to get hurt, do you?"

"I...I guess not." Edric said, slowly reaching his bat pet to Luz. "Just don't hurt him, please."

"Don't worry, I won't."

Luz gently held the small bat demon, seeing it hiss at her, before she stared into its eyes.

'There there, little demon. Everything is alright.' Luz thought, using a tiny bit of hypnosis to calm him down.

She brought it, and Edric, to Emira and Amity.

"Thank you. Now come on, bro. Let's get you treated before you start foaming." Emira said, pulling Edric away.

"Finally. Thank you, Luz". Amity said as she saw Luz was tickling the bat demon, "Hey, I know I ask a lot, but can you switch their voices too?"

"Yeah, let's wait for them to come back first."

'Plus, it gives me more time with this little monster.' Luz thought, setting the bat demon on her shoulder. 'If Edric didn't already have dibs on you, I would take you home.'

She enjoyed him. Almost like the bat demons back home, only smaller and less blood thirsty... And not constantly on fire.

"Luz? Where did Cat go?" Amity asked, pulling Luz from her fond memories.

"Oh, she walked off to blow off steam after telling me off." Luz said to Amity, "She is NOT a fan of me."

"I can...see that but somehow she will. You've managed to make everyone else warm up to you." Amity said.

"Oh, that's so sweet of you to say." Luz said.

Amity blushed and looked away.

"Whatever."

Luz chuckled some as she looked to the twins, seeing Edric being more or less forced to stay sitting as Emira was dealing with his rabies, and Emira looked ready to smack him for doing something so stupid to begin with.

"So... who's older?" Luz asked Amity, "The whole body swap thing confuses me on that."

"Emira's body was born first before Edric's body. If that makes sense now." Amity said.

"Yes. I can't work with that. Yeah, it's a pretty interesting spell. You can turn a voice into a ball of pure energy and move it from one body to another with just the flick of your finger." Luz explained, holding her finger up.

"So can you do it to them?"

"Easy. And it won't even hurt, I promise." Luz said.

"Okay."

Luz and Amity waited for Emira to finish up Edric's treatment, allowing him to look a lot better than before.

"All better now?" Amity asked Edric.

Edric shrugged.

"More or less, but I'm glad I can keep my little batty now." Edric said with a smile.

"We still never agreed to that." Emira said, scolding him.

"Okay, can you two just stop talking for a second." Luz said, opening her book.

"Why?" Edric and Emira asked, turning to Luz.

"Because I said so. Now quiet." Luz said, turning to the page about switching voices. "Here it is."

The book began floating and Luz held her hands out. Emira and Edric felt their mouth being forced open and two balls of energy came from them, before moving into the others mouth.

"What was that!?" Emira asked, with Emira's actual voice, "Oh... my... Titan."

"Your voice!" Edric said with Edric's actually voice, gasping before holding his throat. "And my voice."

"There. You both now have the voices that match your new bodies." Luz said, smiling at her good deed of the day, "I should go make sure my teacher hasn't died doing something she shouldn't have, see ya!"

"And check on Cat too." Amity quickly said, reminding Luz of Cat.

"Understood, sweet pea." Luz said, giving up and kissing Amity's forehead. "See you later."

"Ooo." The twins said, making Amity blush harder.

"Shut up!" Amity shouted at them.

Luz arrived back at the makeshift camp... to find it completely wrecked, with Eda and Cat nowhere to be found.

"Ooooooooooooooh, SHIT!" Luz said, losing her smile and looking around the campsite.

She saw footprints, big ones. Something BIG came through and it caused all of this.

'Looks like this camping trip turned into a rescue mission.' Luz thought.

Luz was about to go and help, until she heard a yell.

"That's Amity!"

She rushed back to the Blights camp sight, hearing a monstrous roar along the way. It must've been the same monster that attack her camp site! She arrived right in time to see Emira hit the ground with blood coming from deep cuts on her stomach. She groaned in pain, unable to open her eyes, while Edric pushed Amity out of the way of some kind of white furred animal.

"Roooooah!" It roared, grabbing Edric and slamming him into the ground!

"UGH!" He grunts in pain. "Amity! Run!"

"Ed, no!" Amity yelled, as Edric was thrown and slammed into a tree.

He fell to the ground with a grunt, not moving.

"EDRIC!" Amity shouted, crying relentlessly as she watched her other sibling go down by the beast!

"ROOOOOOAH!" It screamed, turning its sights to Amiy and rushing to finish her as well!

Luz jumped in the way and threw a fireball at it. It was hit in the face and stumbled back, shaking its head.

"I don't know what the hell you are but this stops NOW!" Luz demanded, her eyes glowing red as she glared at the beast.

The beast grabbed Emira and Edric and ran to it's den. Luz growled, before turning around.

"Are you okay?" Luz asked, "What is that thing?"

"It... it's a Slitherbeast." Amity said, groaning a bit, "I... I have to go save-"

Amity fell down. Luz noticed her leg. Must've been injured when Ed pushed her out of the way.

"You're leg is clearly broken, I'm not letting you go on this crazy mission by yourself." Luz said, lifting Amity onto her back and giving her a piggy back ride, "What do you know about these things?"

"They're tough, faster than they look, spit purple goop that can hold for hours, and extremely territorial but won't attack if you leave them alone." Amity said as Luz followed the footprints.

"I can guess that Cat might've stepped into its territory after she stormed off." Luz assumed, "I wish Rex was here."

"Who's Rex?"

"My dad's dog." Luz said, before using her magic to show Amity a picture.

Amity looked at the black, three headed, dog. Judging by the picture, he couldn't have been any older than two months, and only about half a foot tall, by no means could this "Vicious" devil dog be able to take out a full grown Slitherbeast.

'Sorry Luz, but you'll need more than that to take out one of these things.' Amity thought.

After several minutes, they arrived at a cave. It was getting easier to follow, as Emira's blood was visible in the snow.

"Trail ends here." Luz comments, bending down and using her finger to taste the blood. "Still fresh, give or take a few minutes."

"And that means?" Amity asked, grossed out.

"Your sister is still alive and hasn't died of blood loss. I can tell by the blood." Luz said.

"But if we don't hurry, you won't have a sister much longer." Luz said, "And I need you to stay here."

"What?! NO!"

"Amity, you have a BROKEN LEG! You can't stand up! You will not be able to help!" Luz said, trying to use reason, which should indicate that this is serious, "I meanwhile, am undead, immortal, and can be blown up and regenerate my body in about a minute. Let me handle this."

"No! I am coming with you because someone needs to watch you back! Just because you're practicing invincible, doesn't meant you still can't be hurt!" Amity argued.

"Amity, you can't stand up!" Luz said.

Amity draw a spell circle, making abomination goo grow and move up her broken leg for cover it!

"UGH!" She grunts, her broken bones forced back into place as she got off Luz and stood on her two feet! "I can now!"

Luz looked at the broken leg, seeing that it was still causing excruciating pain to Amity, though Amity won't admit it.

"Luz... please." Amity said, "I need to save my siblings."

Despite the pain she was in, Luz saw unwavering determination and desperation in Amity's eyes. Both demanding and begging to let her help at the same time, no matter what happens to her.

"Fine, but leave the beast to me." Luz said, "You get the others out."

Amity nodded to Luz, creating an abomination cane to help her walk into the cave.

"Lead the way." Amity said.

Luz walked into the cave, with Amity behind her.

"We need to find Cat, she's a healer, she can help Emira." Luz said.

Amity nodded as they turned a corner, seeing a giant open space with random rock platforms all around. On the walls around and above them, various skeletons cling to the wall with purple spit, showing them the Slitherbeast's previous meal and how many it's eaten. They heard struggling, seeing Cat stuck to a wall, and trying her best to get out.

'So she was the cause of this.' the devil side said, 'Serves her right for judging us.'

'This is not the time to be snippy. We need to save her and everyone else. Especially Emira since she's bleeding profusely.' Angel side said

Luz walked up and used her fire to burn the goo away.

"Luz?!" Cat yelled before Luz covered her mouth.

"Shhhhhh! Do NOT draw the attention of the dangerous beast that still might be in this cave." Luz whispered.

"Are you okay?" Amity whispered, walking up to Cat.

"Nearly lost a life." Cat said.

"Your life or Eda's?" Luz asked, somewhat joking.

"No. She's still alive by the way." Cat said as she finally stood on her own feet.

"Good." Luz said, walking ahead, "You're lucky I'm not like what you said, if I was, I would've just left you."

Cat rubbed the back of her head and was about to say something, when Luz suddenly started running on all fours, as if she noticed something. Cat got on all fours and ran as well. Amity... just slowly walked on two legs. They came up on the next goo pit, holding a very pale and half conscious Emira, with a puddle of blood forming under her. Luz wasted no time in getting her free, before looking at Cat.

"Heal her, I'm going to find the others." Luz said.

"R-Right!" Cat said with a quick nod, walking to Emira. "Amity, can you help me set her down?"

"Sure." Amity said, walking up to help.

Luz got back on all fours and sniffed the ground, hoping to pick up a scent of Edric or Eda, and if she was lucky, maybe both.

"Why is she acting like a tracking beast?" Cat whispered as she was healing Emira.

"Don't know, not questioning it." Amity said, glancing at Luz for a moment before looking back to Emira.

Luz's great sense of smell caught the scent of something, it smelt like cigarette smoke and Gin.

'Eda.' Luz thought.

Luz ran faster after the scent as she smelled no blood near her so that's a good thing. Luz kept running until she came upon an open area in the cave, which was filled with purple goo.

"She must be in here." Luz muttered, sniffing the ground some more. "Yep, the gin is getting stronger."

'And making me thirstier.' Luz thought.

She heard Eda struggling, with the occasional swear that made the demonic princess herself blush.

'Woah, even I think that's bad language.' The demon side said.

'Yeah, not even our father would use these words if he knew them.' The angel side said.

'Well I'm glad we can agree on something, now if you don't plan on helping, I would like for you two to stop talking.' Luz thought.

'Okay. We'll talk later.' Angel Luz said.

Luz was left alone as she approached Eda, tapped her as she stopped mid curse word.

"Kid?" Eda said in surprise.

Luz held up a hand and summoned a fireball. She melted the goo and helped Eda down.

"Eda, do you know where Edric is?"

"The Blight Brother? I think he's down that way." Eda said, pointing down the cave.

"Okay, go meet up with Cat and Amity, I'll go save him."

"Cat? She's alright, too?" Eda asked.

"Yep. Now go." Luz said, rushing off to find Edric.

Luz got back on all fours and ran in the direction she was told.

'Alright, Edric. Where are you?' Luz thought as she sniffed for his scent.

It was very likely that he was unconscious after that strike he got. But if he wasn't....Luz may have had a spell that could resurrect the dead to be servants. She could tweak it a bit so it just brought Edric back to life... Hopefully. A minute later, Luz came to the another part of the cave and found Edric wrapped in goo like Emira and Eda. Only this time, the Slitherbeast was near him and seasoning him for dinner! Literally sprinkling mushrooms and garlic it got from the forest on him like a chef!

'Even with a friend in danger, this place contorts to fascinate me.' Luz thought.

Luz growled, letting her teeth get sharp, her eyes turn red, and her nails turn to claws. The Slitherbeast heard her and growled back. The two dangerous creatures began to fight. Back with Emira, the older sister was slowly waking up as her injuries were fairly healed.

"Ugh." Emira groaned, holding her head. "Did someone get the number of that flying bus?"

"Em?" Amity asked, "Are you okay?"

Emira blinked unevenly before glancing at Amity, blurrier and fuzzier than she remembered.

"Amity? Why... are you so... fuzzy?"

Amity looked at Cat with a confused look.

"I can't make blood, and I can't take it from you because she lost so much that you could die if we attempted a blood transfusion." Cat said, "The best I can do is heal her wound, and keep her from dying long enough to get her to a healing center."

Amity didn't bring up her broken leg, she didn't want to take Cat's focus away from Emira.

"You know some apple blood would actually help with that." Eda said, walking up to the trio. "It's literal blood so it can help in this situation."

"Well, unfortunately, none of us have any!" Cat said, "We're literally minors!"

"There still the kid version. And I've got some right here." Eda said, reaching into her hair but then stopped. "No, wait. I left it at home. Shit."

"Point proven." Cat said, triumphantly.

"I would like to remind you that YOU stepped into its territory, therefore starting this entire problem." Eda said, making Cat's grin fall.

"Can we save this for AFTER we get my brother and-" Amity was cut off as a hand reach up and grabbed her mouth.

"Mittens, did I ever tell you you're like funny when you're being serious? Like your mouth is just flapping in the wind and noise comes out." Emira said, giving a loopy smile before she moved her sister's mouth for her. "Blop blip bloo blaa."

Eda made a spell circle and hit Emira with a sleep spell.

"That should help her, it'll save her energy." Eda asked, before hearing growling and roars.

With Luz and the Slitherbeast, Luz was on it's side, with her claws sunk into its skin. She began biting on it, ripping flesh out of it.

"ROOOOAR!" The beast roared in pain.

'You wanna eat my friends?! Let's see how you like being eaten!' Luz thought, eating the flesh and ripping off more. 'Mmm! Damn, you're good!'

Despite all the fur in the way, it was actually pretty tasty! The Slitherbeast slammed its side against the cave wall, knocking Luz to the ground. The girl got on her hands and knees and let out a growl. At this point, no one would be able to tell if Luz could speak, she was letting her demonic instincts take over, and she was practically feral. She ran on all fours, let out a loud roar as she tackled the Slitherbeast. The two demons tumbled down the cave, crashing against the walls as the entire mountain shook as small rocks began falling everywhere. The slitherbeast roared as Luz slashed at it with her claws. She climbed onto it's back and began biting its head.

"Come on! Come on, motherfucker! Is that all you got?!" Luz screamed between bites, eating more Slitherbeast flesh with each bite.

The slitherbeast roared in pain. Luz added to the pain by clawing and kicking the head multiple times like a trapped rat, causing as much damage as she could to it.

'I'm ending this!' Luz thought.

Pulling back and dragging the beast to the ground floor, Luz enhanced her strength and began slamming the Slitherbeast back and forth on the cave floor! She got it on the ground and sunk her claws into its head.

"THIS IS FOR WHAT YOU DID TO MY FRIENDS AND TO MY AMITY!" Luz screamed and began pulling both ways!

She didn't stop until the beast began to slow down from blood loss.

"Hrrrrr! Hrrr!" It whimpered in pain as it began bleeding from the tear Luz was making it!

'That's it! Kill this motherfucker! Kill him!' Her devil side screamed.

'Don't, it's just an animal, trying to survive.' The angel side said.

Luz stopped, and jumped off, letting the slitherbeast run away to recover.

'Yeah, it is just an animal. I shouldn't kill it just for following his instincts.' Luz thought, slowly calming down.

She walked over to Edric, and used a fire ball to melt the goo. She held him, as he was still out cold, and carried him to the others. But she saw they weren't where she left them, possibly having moved outside because of the falling rocks and snow from her fight with the beast. She carried Edric out of the cave.

"Hang out, brother Blight. We're almost out." Luz said to him.

"Mmmm." Edric hummed, not really hearing her.

She left the cave, and was met by Amity.

"Luz!" She said, before noticing the blood and Edric, "Is Edric okay!?"

"He's alive, but he's going to need a healer, more skilled than Cat."

"And the Slitherbeast, is it-"

Luz cut Cat off.

"I'm not some mindless killer, the Slitherbeast will heal and live." Luz said, glaring at Cat.

Cat flinched from this, taking a step back as Eda came over to them.

"The female twin is fine, just a little loopy from blood lose and sleeping it off." Eda explained.

"Now, I recommend taking them to a healing center." Eda said, "Thankfully, there's one about a 10 minute staff ride away. Baby Blight, you think you could help me keep them on the staff while flying, these two need to get our camp taken down and I trust them to make it because is dead and the other has 9 lives."

"Uh.. sure." Amity said.

"Plus, you have a broken leg." Eda said.

"Excuse me, what?" Cat asked, looking at Amity and just now noticing abomination cast. "You had a broken leg this ENTIRE time!?"

"It's fine! And my siblings needed your attention more than me right now!" Amity said.

Cat, being the healer she is... wanted to slap Amity until her head spun. Luz held her back.

"Go get them help, we'll get everything packed up." Luz said.

"And don't make their injuries worse. I know that look when a medical professional is upset with their patient." Eda said to Cat.

Luz dragged Cat away, with the cat demon hissing at Amity in anger.

'How dare she hid her injury from a healer?!' Cat thought as Luz sensed her animal like wrath.

'Interesting . She's surprisingly sensitive if you deny her medical help.' Luz thought.

Luz scratched Cat's ear, making her purr and calm down.

"Calm down, you little deadly healer." Luz said to her.

"Don't call me that." Cat said.

"Okay, Kitty Cat." Luz said, still scratching Cat's ear, "You calmed down yet?"

"...Don't call me that either but yes." Cat said, moving out of Luz's arms. "Let's just pack up and get out of here."

The two packed things up quietly, before Luz broke the silence.

"I'm not just some spoiled rich girl you know." Luz said, making Cat look down, "If you were in my shoes, you'd probably act the way I do as well."

"Listen, I-"

"My entire life I was raised to be the perfect ruler, to take my dad's place and be the next Devil." Luz said, "Ever since I was born I had my entire life planned out for me. In hell I have to be this vicious being that others have to kiss the ground I walk on, in the human realm I have to act like a normal human and take whatever bullshit is thrown at me and never be allowed to fight back or else I'll risk being discovered."

Cat didn't say anything, but could feel the anger boiling in Luz.

"So when I came here, I could get the best of both worlds, I could be the demon I am, and I can make my own legacy." Luz said, her fists shaking in rage, "And I can forget that I am destined to destroy all of humanity, all because my dad is mad with my grandfather because of something that happened before man walked the earth!"

Luz got quiet, and Cat looked at her. Cat walked over to her and hugged her, before purring. Something a cat will do to calm down it's owner. This wasn't much but it was enough smirk show that Cat was sorry for judging Luz before knowing her. Luz scratched her chin, making her purr even more, even nuzzle against Luz's hand.

"So, now that we're past this... friends?" Luz asked.

"Yeah... little lower." Cat said.

"Hehehehe, at least buy me dinner first." Luz said with a chuckle.

"Not THAT low." Cat said blankly.

"I'm just messing with ya." Luz said, scratching a bit lower.

'I'm so buying her a cat toy later.' Luz thought.

Cat and Luz continued to chat as they packed up, actually becoming friendly and making this trip a success in Luz's eyes. She hoped the Blight's would be okay though. When Eda landed to pick them up, she was alone.

"Well, good news and bad news. Good news, they'll be okay, they're being transferred to a healing center in Bonesborough. Bad News, they probably won't be around for a few weeks." Eda said, "Come on, let's go back home."

"Awww, I won't be able to tease my Amity." Luz said with a frown.

"You'll live. Or whatever it is you do. But I can share some embarrassing stories if you want later." Cat offered.

"Ooo... spill Kitty Cat." Luz said.

"Ugh, you two got from frenemies to almost sisters. It's cute but almost sick." Eda said to them.

"Nah, she's more like a pet." Luz said.

"I'm not a pet!" Cat said.

Luz reached into her pocket and held a fish cracker.

"Sit."

Cat immediately sat like a cat, her eyes focused on the fish cracker.

"Hehehehe, good girl." Luz said, throwing the treat into the air.

Cat caught it with her mouth and began chewing before looking at Luz.

"This proves nothing." Cat said, before swallowing, "Can we just get back to Bonesborough? I've had enough of the cold."

"Yeah. Sure." Eda said with wide eyes.

'I feel like I should've been recording that.' Eda thought.

They flew off and back to Bonesborough.
