The monkeys were taking the children deeper into the woods. The opposite way to go back to the village... They didn't know what to do. They could definitely not run away: the monkeys were much too strong. And they still had Alina in a piece of ice!

They arrived to a cave. It was very dark inside it. Roxane said while laughing nervously:

-You are not going to put us in there, are you?

As soon as she has said that, the monkeys threw them in the cave and one of them pressed a green button. A gate started closing from the ceiling. Alisa said to the monkeys:

-Please no! Don't lock us in here!

-Don't complain. Or else I could press the red button...

The 7 monkeys looked at each other and laughed. A huge metal gate covered the small gate so that the little group couldn't see anything outside anymore. A small torch was now doing a bit of light.

-It's hot!   said Sacha.

-Yep...   they all answered at the same time.

"PLOCK" !

-What was that?!   asked Jessie.

-It's Alina! She is melting!!!   shouted Roxane.

They all stared at her melting for a few minits until she finally said:

-Brrr... I'm so cold...

-Are you kidding?! It's boiling hot in here!!!   shouted Sacha.

-You can have my coat.   said Milla.

-N-n... no-o... Keep it... You must-t-t be-e c-cccold as well...

-No sincerely, I'm not cold at all...

-You can have mine as well.   said Alisa and Roxane at the same time.

So Alina was now covered with three coats... She finally looked a bit better.

-We need to try to get out of here! We can't just stay without doing anything, waiting for some kinds of evil monster things to come back!   she suddenly shouted.

-Wow! Calm down Alina!   calmly said Alisa.   Firstly, how do you know about those monkeys? You were ice! Secondly, how should we get out of here? Could you please tell us? Unless you've suddenly got superpowers or something, I don't see any way to get out. You should search for one, like us, instead of resting there!

-Alisa, she's kinda sick...   started Milla.

-No need to search.   said Alina.

No one paid attention, except from Milla, who was staring at her.

-What then?   she said.

Alina's eyes became very bright yellow. They looked like cat eyes. The torch turned off. Everyone looked at Alina. She was transforming into a cat! It was quite scary to see... Her body was getting covered with black fur... Her legs were getting smaller and black hair was growing over them... Her arms did just the same... A tail grew from her body... And the head was the last to transform... In the end, she meowed.

Everyone was staring her.

-I know!!! I know what she means!!!   shouted Milla.

-Are you okay?   asked Roxane.

-Yes of course I am! Just look at her! She saw a hole in the cave over there and she knows she can get out as a cat! We need to do the same, but with our own animal!

-But how??!   they all shouted at the same time.

-Just watch!

Then Milla turned around and closed her eyes. She stayed like that for a moment.

-Are you all right?

Suddenly, two long ears grew on her head! Her arms and legs became shorter, with very pale pink fur on them. Her body got covered with the same fur... Her cheeks became all chubby and... Milla turned around again. She was now an adorable bunny rabbit!

-I think I get it...   said Roxane.

She turned around as well, a very long tail started to grow on her... Two cute ears popped out on her head... Her body was covered with grey fur... Her arm and legs became tiny... She became a little mouse.

-My turn!   said Kanun.

She closed her eyes and concentrated... Her body got covered with pale brown scales... A tail also grew on her... She became very small... Skin grew in between her fingers... She was a bearded dragon...

Alisa did the same to become a small bird... First, giant wings replaced her arms, but then, they became smaller as she also became smaller... Feathers were growing everywhere on her and a beak grew instead of her nose.

Jessie wanted to be a small dog, so she did! A tail first, then two long ears pointing down... Fur, a long tongue as well... She was now a black puppy Labrador.

Sacha closed his eyes. A big puffy black and white stripped tail grew on him. Two cute ears... He became smaller... Cute paws... He was now a racoon!

Alina looked at them all in a satisfied way. She turned around and went further in the cave...
