Thank you my lovelies! <3

"Arizona?!" Raven screeched. I nodded. "It's the only way to get your memory back. Plus it's still getting worse and worse. You can't even remember what you had for breakfast this morning!" I shouted back.

She huffed and rolled her gorgeous pale green eyes. "So, what we go and look for Ragnor, a 200 year old Hunter, ask him if there is a cure and where it may be? What makes you think he, a HUNTER, will want to bargain with us? We don't even know what he looks like!! He  could've changed his name!" Raven ranted.

"No one said this was going to be easy. We have a destination at least. So pack your bags, we're leaving tonight." I replied while rubbing my hand through my hair.

"I'm going with you!?" She brought up.

"We talked about this earlier! You're worse than an old person with alzhiemers!" I said aloud.

--

Two arguements later, we were out of the door and on our way to the airport. Normally we'd run, but with Raven's condition she could even forget how to shift. And if there is one thing you can't have, it's a stuck mid-shift.

Pups born with a defect in their genes can end up with a stuck mid-shift. While shifting into their wolf for the first time, they grow out maybe the hair from their wolf and their paws but they get stuck and can't complete the process. It's painful since your bones are in all different directions. It usually happens to human/werewolf hybrids.

And Raven could easily forget what she's doing and end up stuck, and that was a risk I wasn't willing to take.

We finally came to the airport and saw our stuff down and waited.

"Tyler?" Raven asked from next to me. I looked over at her and smiled.

"What if . . . What if I don't want to remember?" She asked in a whisper. My gaze hardened.

"Because if you don't, you'll always ask yourself, 'what if'. I want you to be able to remember all that you've been through so you know not to be in the same situation again. Why love?" I asked.

"Because . . . everyone makes me feel like I've done awful shit. Was I that awful?" She asked, looking depressed. I hated seeing my fiery mate in such a downbeat mood. This memory stuff must've been toying with her mood or something.

"Well, you caused problems from when you first stepped into Oakwood Forest pack. My packmembers that were originally sent to track you down said you had quite the attitude." I said with a chuckle.

Raven's POV***

"Well, you caused problems from when you first stepped into Oakwood Forest pack. My packmembers that were originally sent to track you down said you had quite the attitude." Tyler said with a small laugh.

"Tell me about myself." I urged him. He looked at me then the cieling.

"Well, you were very cocky and snide. It was funny to see how you could easily agrivate anyone you wanted with just one simple sentence or gesture. You got some of my wolves angry and that's how you escaped us the first time so easily." He said as if remembering it like it was yesterday.

"So I was a brat?" I asked flatly.

"No, although you were a smartass, you weren't a brat.  You had this 'I don't take shit from anyone' attitude. If someone did something you didn't like, you didn't let it slide. Your witts were always there with you when you needed them." He replied while staring at me. Our gaze locked, but I pulled away.

"I'm a famous rogue. I remember that. I'm 'The Slip'. So what happened when we met?" I asked. Did I do something stupid? Did I crawl into his arms. A smirk escaped his features, making me furrow my brows.

"Well, we really didn't see eye-to-eye. And I accidentally dislocated your wrist after you did something my wolf couldn't deal with." He said while looking down. I glanced at my perfectly fine wrists.

"Why did you do that?!" I hissed.

"You shifted in front of all my wolves. Males don't really take well to others seeing their mates bodies on displays for others." He said. My cheeks reddened. I did what now?!

Tyler neared my face slowly and pinched my chin with his fingers lightly. His breath tingled against my ear, making a moan nearly escape my lips.

"You were made for my eyes only." He whispered huskily. I shivered but said nothing. He stared at  me after pulling away, our faces still inches from each other. His lips were so kissable from here. Or was it just me? I wasn't sure, but I knew I wanted to be in his arms right now. I wanted to remember what I had been through.

Yet there were some parts I wish I had forgotten. Like my past.

Thinking of it, made a large pain engulf my chest. My family . . . gone.

Flasback___

I struggled as I ran off. I didn't want to be seen, heard from, I wanted to disapear. No one would dare look for me. Or I hoped not. Dad never let me go off to ANY parties, but tonight I was going to break his rules.

I inched towards the huge house, music and the smell of bear already coming to.

I smiled as I walked in, my red heels clicking on the ground as I walked in the door. I had made friends then. They were shifters like me. We were in the middle of a game of "Never Have I Ever" when a door was lodged open.

Everyone's eyes shifted over to the front door.

"RAVEN DARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Someone boomed. I cowered back into my new friends arm. She looked at me then to the man known as my father. Everyone stared at me, then some broke out in laughter.

"We're going home, and you're in a lot of trouble." He said over the  loud music and teens staring at us.

His face was menacing and I could tell he was fighting the urge to shift. I rolled my eyes angrily and left, my super short black dress nearly riding up.

I left my beer cup and followed him outside. People were laughing inside and making jokes. This sucked.

"What the hell were you thinking!? What did I tell you!?" My dad screamed as we entered the car. Brent was in the backseat giving my sympathetic looks. My mother was in front just reading a book while dad busted my ass.

I glanced at Brent. He smirked but shrugged. I smiled at him.

"Are you even listening!?" Dad shrieked.

"Maybe if you let me do things every once in a blue moon then I wouldn't have to go behind your old back!" I hissed and crossed my arms. Brent's eyes nearly popped out of his skull.

My mom sighed and rested a hand on my dad.

"Honey, you know we do these things to protect you. We don't expect you to understand-"

"NO! You never let me do anything! It's not fair!" I screamed.

"What's not fair is having you as a daughter!" My dad boomed. I felt my heart sink into my chest. I wanted nothing more than to shift and run away. Tears brimmed my eyes.

"Trever!!!" My mom howled in anger and disbelief.

"Dad!" Brent said at the same time as mom.

I said nothing through out the long drive. Suddenly, the drive wasn't so long . . .

Flasback____

I pulled away from Tyler as the flasback settled in. I swore I forget my past, yet it was always hauting me. Did I have these flasbacks when my memory was normal?

"You ok?" Tyler asked, clearly worried.

I nodded. "Let's go." I said as the Arizona plane opened up its wing. Tyler climbed in first and I followed. We reached out first class seats where Tyler insisted that he take my bags.

"I can handle myself." I muttered at him.

"There's the old you." He replied with a smile. I bit my lip and gave him my bags and walked away to sit down near the window. Tyler soon followed and sat next to me.

"I don't need a babysitter." I murmered, clearly aware he could hear me.

He smirked, sending shivers down my spine. "I'm not here to babysit." He said huskily. I cleared my throat.

"What's our first move when we arrive in Arizona? It's gonna be hot as hell." I whined.

He laughed, a sound that was amazing. "First, we're going to stay with some of my old relatives for a bit. It's my cousins house. Her name is Hanna. She is a rogue and has a mate along with a daughter. Her daughters name is Rosaline. She's special." He said the last part seriously.

"Meaning?" I questioned.

"Don't freak out when we get to the house. But my cousin mated with another breed." He said cautiously. I nearly spat out my drink.

"She's a hybrid? Don't tell me . . ." I trailed off, knowing where this was going.

"Vampwolf." He said with a shrug.

"Isn't that dangerous?" I asked. He smiled and nodded. "They keep her hidden pretty well. Rosaline is only 13. She can shift into wolf with red eyes. Her wolf is white, like yours. She's very fast, impatient and has a low temper, kinda like you." Tyler explained with a chuckle. I smiled.

"Ok, do they know we're coming?" I asked. He nodded and seemed to be in deep thought.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked him.

"I've got a few wolves of our pack in Arizona. They live there but stay connected with the pack and attend meetings and skirmishes when needed. Some wolves, apart of our pack or not, have spread rumor that Ragnor lives by himself in this little bookstore. They have their suspicions and I think that is the best thing we have to roll off right now." He said and sighed before rubbing his hand through his perfectly tousled hair. I tried hard not to stare.

"He would live in a bookstore. How can we make sure it's him?" I asked once more, feeling pretty lost about this whole situation.

"Before we consult him about being the 200 year old Hunter from legend, we need as much info as possible. I hear his library is huge. There are laptops and many legend filled books. I'm going to sneak into the restricted section and-"

"Should I sneak in?" I asked in a 'duh' voice. I mean, it only made sense if I went.

"Why should you do it? I don't want to risk anything." He said as if he were concerned. I rolled my eyes.

"Dollface, I'm called 'The Slip.' I'm sure if I can sneak in and out of a territory with over 100 wolves in it, I think I can sneak into a bookstore's restricted area." I said with a triumphant smirk as he frowned.

"Whatever. Meanwhile, I'll talk to Ragnor, or whatever he goes by nowadays. Make sure you don't use his laptops. He could track down sites we've been on and we don't want him to leave or anything." Tyler warned. I smiled.

This was going to be one helluva trip.

--

"We'll be landing shortly thank you for riding AirTran!" An attendant said through this little weird thingy. I sighed as we started to land.

I glanced at Tyler who had his seatbelt strapped super tight. I raised my eyebrows. His face looked strained.

"Are you alright?" I asked him. He glanced at me and nodded quickly. A laugh bubbled through me as I made a realization.

"You have a fear of planes!?" I said between giggles. He rolled his eyes and clutched onto the seat. I couldn't stop giggling to myself and teasing him the whole time we got off the plane.

"You're a Werewolf and your afraid of planes?" I said with a laugh. He grunted and continued to walk with the bags hand in hand.

I finally stopped giggling as we entered a limo.

"Nice hookup." I said to Tyler with a smirk. He raised his eyebrows and leaned back while drinking some beer. I shrugged and grabbed myself one as well and let the bubbling sensation roll down my throat.

Ahh, that felt nice. Did I ever drink beer when I was normal? Did I ever get drunk and do something stupid? Did I ever to anything with anyone!? Did I do anything with Tyler?!?!?

"Uh, Raven you're face is very red." Tyler said, pulling me out of my thoughts. I stared at him and shook my head.

He smirked and took another gulp of his beer, making him look very sexy as he lightly bit the  top. Was he teasing me? If so, two can play at this game. I fought back a smirk.

I knew he was watching me, cuz I could see from my pereferal vision.

I took one swig of the beer and afterwards, licked the top, along with my upper lip. I could feel the lust eminating from Tyler. I blinked and in one second, someone was hovered over me. Judging by the scent, I could tell who it was without looking.

"Are you teasing me?" He whispered in my ear. I blinked twice to make sure this was really happening.

"Do you want me to?" I retorted lowly, sounding just as husky. A low growl left him. I wanted him to put his lips on mine and kiss me till it hurt. But something was holding him back. I just didn't know what.

He neared my ear and blew into it, sending shivers throughout my body. "I know torture more than anyone, so I wouldn't go down the path if I were you." Tyler whispered and sat back down in his seat like nothing had happend. Dick.

--

We came to a small house that looked like a cottage. "Is this place big enough?" I asked Tyler. He smirked and said nothing. I sighed as we neared the front door. Tyler knocked and a gorgeous girl with blond hair opened it.

"TYLER!" She screamed and jumped into his arms. For some reason, I wanted to rip her off and throw her into a cactus field. Was this . . . jealousy? If so, I still wasn't digging this hug they shared.

"Han. Thank you for letting us stay." Tyler replied as she finally got off him. She smiled. "Duh! Anything for my baby cousin. And who's this?" Hanna asked as she turned around and stared at me.

"That's my mate, Raven. Raven this is my cousin, Hanna." Tyler said. I held my hand out to shake my hand, but instead, I was embraced in a gut wrenching hug, cutting off my breathing. She soon stepped back. "Sorry, I'm a hugger kinda person. Anyways, come in come in!" The eccentric girl said and led us. The place was cute, I'll admit.

"Rosaline! Victor!" She called out. Before I had time to process what was happening, a figure stood in front of me. This little girl had ash blond hair like her mother and very pale brown eyes that seemed fiery. This must've been Rosaline.

"I'm Rosaline. Ro if you please." The girl said to me. I smiled. "I'm Raven." She smiled and glanced behind her. When the fuck did her dad get here? How fast were these Vampire people?!

"I'm Victor, Hanna's mate and Ro's dad. Nice to meet you Raven." He said and held his hand out. I took it, somewhat cautious. But his light smile told me he was anything but dangerous.

"You too." I muttered and forced a slight smile.

"Ro, show them their rooms please. I'll be fixing up dinner." Hanna said and smiled at her daughter. Ro nodded and grabbed my hand. I stared at her but followed her nontheless.

Tyler followed me as well.

"Since you're mates, you might as well share the same room." She said with  a giggle as she pulled us into a huge master bedroom.

"Awe, thanks babygirl." Tyler said and stared at her.

"I'm not a baby!" Ro hissed and put her hands on hips.

"Hey Raven, wanna see what I can do?" She asked, bouncing out of her hissing mood. What was it with this girl? Everything she did made me smile. I nodded. She nearly jumped out of her shoes. She neared the bed and focused. She looked at the wall in front of her and ran towards it.

Was she going to run into the wall or something? But no, she was not going to run INTO the wall, but more UP the wall. I gasped as I saw her run up the wall and walk onto the cieling.

"Pretty cool huh? This is my affinity!" She said with a smile, which barely showed her sharp fangs.

"Affinity?" I asked Tyler. He nodded. "When a Vampire gets to the age of maturity, they recieve their affinity, a super power I geuss you could say." He whispered as Ro ran along the cieling, giggling.

"Whoa  . . . EK!" Ro screeched from above as she lost her footing and came tumbling down. Without thinking, I ran underneath her and watched her falling frame.

She landed with an 'oomph' and eyes squeezed shut. She wasn't very heavy and was easy to carry in my arms.

"You caught me?" she asked. I smiled and nodded. "I wouldn't let you fall." I whispered. Already, I really liked Ro. She was funny and we seemed to have a special connection.

"Well thanks." She said and let her down.

"The only reason that does that is cuz . . . guess what?!?!?!" She screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Rosaline, voice down in the house!" Hanna yelled from the other room. Ro rolled her eyes.

"I have two affinities!" She said with a smirk.

"That's pretty rare Ro. What's your other one?" Tyler asked as he sat down on the bed. She smiled then frowned.

"I can't really do it. I can get stuck if I'm not focused." She said with a nervous frown.

I frowned, seeing her so sad.

"Dinner's ready!" Hanna called from the next room. Immediately, we all bounced up and walzted into the kitchen.

What do you think about Ro? Hybrid with two abilities :D She's pretty funny.
