Third Person's POV

in the school yard Zevis sitting alone reading a manga while listening to music as he looks at the cards in hand "I can't believe I used Grandma's cards to Duel Romin, and I'm for sure they were scared at the side that no one had ever seen of me... not that I care we're not friends anyway" he states to himself.

He continues on reading before feeling someone sitting on the same table he looks forwards and sees Luke sitting with his arms crossed.

Zevis moves his headphones away "Can I help you?" he asks.

Luke leans closer with star in his eyes "That rush duel you had with Romin the other day was incredible I was trying to look for you yesterday to challenge you to a Rush Duel as well!" he states.

Zevis sweat drop "Thanks... I guess?" he hesitatingly thanked the blue hair young male before him.

"Say, I may not know you much, but I could tell you, Romin, and Roa have history with one another other than the fact that you were former bandmates, if you don't mind asking what's is it"

Zevis looks taken aback by this question "well... if I'm honest with you no one not even Toombs or Tyler asked me such question, but I guess I can tell" he closes the manga he was reading.

"I knew them through our parents who were also former bandmates, Roa's dad was the Guitarist, Romin's mom was the Bass-guitar player, and both my parents were both the drummer and main Vocalist, when we first met it was a blooming friendship at first sight according to both parents my mom  said that the three of us were inseparable, then Roa introduced me to the world of dueling due to that I grew a interest in dueling and when I was about to tell my parents about dueling, my parents gave me a deck of cards that once belong to my grandmother, and that deck of cards was the deck that you saw in my rush duel" Zevis explains as Luke looks at the blonde boy with awe "but then came a year when RoaRomin formed I they needed a backup singer I was just filling in because, there was no one to fill in, but I realized that be singing in the background was actually the best thing that ever happened to me, I could see Roa and Romin enjoying themselves on stage" Zevis continues with a small smile forming in his face much to Luke's amaze but gasps when he then sees Zevis now frowning with rage "But that day happened" he states.

"What happened?" Luke asks with concern.

 "One night during one of our concerts we were having best night of our lives in that stage giving us our very best but then there was silence, and I was a fool for not paying attention as I was singing my hear out no one applauded no one said anything but when I realized the silence I opened my eyes and I realized that the spotlight was on me everyone was staring at me... at that moment I froze in place the only thing I could do in that moment was running away" he explains before looking up his phone and shows Luke the post "And that same night I found this trending on social media" he then said bitterly.

"My Gay bestie like boys" Luke reads Romin's post caption out loud while watching a fan-cam video of the incident and frowns at the hateful comments.

"I was sure that she posted in her hungry state, but I wasn't just having, when Roa invited me to come to his concert I initially refused, but he keeps on insisting or at least keep the ticket, which with a heavy heart I accepted... and the rest is history" Zevis finishes explaining

"That's sound like a revenge story" Luke comment.

The blonde chuckle "well you can say that" he responds "even though I was holding back, I thought defeating Romin in a Rush duel would satisfy me, but...it drove to the opposite of opposite of satisfaction it made me feel... not better more like worse than them" he confesses.

"You're saying that you feel guilty for humiliating Romin like that?" Luke questions.

Zevis nods "Yeah... even thought Romin broke my trust, I couldn't bring myself to fully hate her or Roa... we were friends for a very long time, even our parents were concerned about us, and I don't want them to worry" Zevis said unaware that his eyes were welding up with tears.

Luke sees this and reaches to the blonde's face and wipes the tears off him "talking about it really wore you out" he said.

Zevis nods "emotionally it did" he responds before getting up and taking the phone and manga "thanks for the talk...uh" he said before pausing not knowing Luke's name.

"I'm Luke!" he said with a smile.

The blonde nods "I'll remember that... thanks for listening, Luke" he said smiling back before leaving the blue hair boy who smile wider like the dork he is.

-scene change-

Zevis now wearing a dark green cloak that covers his whole body only reveal his mouth while having a microphone in hands and sitting on what seem like at throne as music plays and wait for the right timing for him to start.

Removing his hood showing Zevis rocking with green heart face paint located on his cheekbones and black eye shadow to show off his green eyes more as he walks down the steps to center stage.

Zevis takes off his cloak revealing he was revealing a dark green sleeveless leather turtleneck top black pants and green combat boots.

-scene change-

Zevis hums to himself in his daydream being in a concert and pauses his music and put his headphones away and notices that he's standing before a familiar apartment.

"You have to take the Rice out of the bag! Out of the bag!" he ears someone shouting from the inside.

Despite being outside Zevis could hear the voice clearly "Huh... Looks like fate has other plans for me" he said before walking inside the apartment unaware of the chaos he'll be witnessing.

When he arrives to the kitchen, he sees Romin and Gavin cooking the rice in the rice cooker.

"You did it Romin! You're successfully cooking the rice!" Gavin praises the female "So with that underway you can now switch gears and start making the curry!" Gavin then tells her

'Romin, cooking? that's something I like to see' he thinks with a smug on his face but then looks down in sadness and shakes his head harshly out of the thought and continues on watching them.

"Awesome! I'll begin by chopping this carrot!" she states proudly while holding a scallion making the blonde hold back his laughter.

'You poor unfortunate soul' Zevis thought.

"That's a scallion" Gavin points.

she drops the scallion before picking another ingredient "I meant this onion!" she states holding a yam.

"That's a Yam" Gavin sweat drops telling the female.

Romin then holds a red and white-ish vegetable "Then, uh, this potato?" she said in a questioning tone.

Gavin looks dumbfounded "you don't seriously thing that's a potato, do you? Because it doesn't look anything like one" Gavin said slightly annoyed which startles Romin.

"But don't potatoes' have petals like a flower" Romin questions with charm.

"Potatoes do not have any petals, Romin!" Gavin yells before turning to two other preteens "Choose the ingredients for her!" he instructs which they oblige with no argument.

-later-

the chopped ingredients are now boiling in a pot.

"Very good. now let your curry simmer for a while" Gavin suggest.

"You sure? maybe I should give it a good stir" Romin said while putting on a cooking glove before raising the tap and the curry made a explosion causing Gavin to have his hair puffy.

"What did you put in there?" Gavin asks Romin while having the bit of patience left in him.

Gavin fixes his hair while listening to Romin's explanation "The ingredient you gave me... Plus, a handful of gumdrops, some shaken diet soda, last night homework-"

"Why did you add all that other stuff!?" Gavin questions raising his voice at her.

"I just thought, it would bring out, the potato" she explains while the two preteens holding out the ingredient that she held earlier surrounding her

Gavin groans "that's not a POTATO!" he yells at her.

"What did I just witness?" Gavin and Romin startled as they and two other preteens look back and see Zevis standing there dumbfounded before sighing "Alright, that's it" he said before opening a nearby locker revealing a apron and bandana.

"Zevis?" Romin calls as she sees the blonde walking up to the female.

"What? You're expecting Santa Clause? Let's finish this curry" he said while putting the Apron and the bandana on.

-later-

"And that's how you mix the potato with the rest of the curry" Zevis explains as Romin stirs the curry with a joyful smile.

"This curry looks pretty delish already!" she states before sniffing "And smells really unique!" she adds dreamingly.

"Yeah, but next time we can try less soda and gumdrops because i can tell the soda itself and the sweetness of the gumdrops combine would overpower the curry itself" he explains

"Her dish is almost done" Rayne one of Gavin assistants inform.

"Yes, but the trouble's only getting started" the assistant duo turn to Gavin confused "I lost track of all the weird and Unique ingredients Romin threw in that pot, not sure about Zevis intentions of being here, but I just hope not to poison her cooking out of revenge" he said.

"I heard that" Zevis state startling the dark purple hair young male "I'm cold, not a monster" he tells Gavin "And for your information I was only mixing the ingredients with other to ease off the overpower she threw in the curry" he explains "Ah and a warning in advance the color of the curry will be different in comparison with the original, but still taste like the curry you know" he advice.

"It's ready!" Romin announces as Gavin goes to take a look and sees...blue curry but not in a toxic type of curry.

"Curry isn't supposed to be blue" Gavin the said.

"I did warn you, didn't I?" Zevis reminds the taller preteen.

"So who get the first taste?" Rayne questions "I think that honor should go to the chef, right?" she suggested.

"I agreed! Go ahead Romin!" her comrade Rino agrees.

Romin looks at the two confused but nods "Okay" she agrees before setting up the curry on a plate of rice "I'll just dive right in!" she said before taking a bite of the curry she and Zevis made as Gavin, Rayne and Rino watches the scene in slow motion.

Then there was silence filling the room "Are you okay-"

"It's so yummy!" she states.

"Did you said, yummy!?" Gavin questions out of disbelief with what he just heard from the pink hair girl.

Zevis frowns at Gavin "told you I'm not a monster" he said.

Before Romin could set up the plate for the others, they hear the doorbell ringing she then goes to answer the door and while Zevis looks at the trio on the table and shove them the spoon down their mouths.

"That'll make it seem less hard" Zevis said.

"Oh wow..." Gavin tears up "I underestimate you..." he admits "You don't mess with food" he said while Rino and Rayne nod agreeing with their president.

Zevis makes a plate for himself before noticing Luke entering the kitchen "Oh Hey Luke! want to try Romin's unique Blue Curry?"

"you mean the traitor made it?" Luke questions

"Well partially she kind of went a bit overboard with the gumdrop and the diet soda, so I help her out making sure those extra ingredients don't overpower the curry itself"

Luke looks at Romin before taking a bite of the curry off Zevis' plate and his eyes light up "This curry is amazing!" he states surprising everyone even Zevis was caught off guard "It's pure genius! The texture is exquisite and the flavor, it balances the subtle tones of gumdrops with the effervescence of diet soda! This is the best curry I've ever had!" he states but then turns to Zevis "how did you ease down the possible overpower of the gumdrops and diet soda?" he asks the blonde.

"My grandmother secret ingredient" he pulls out a small jar that has red wording "Adobo" in it "Adobo" he explains.

Then Romin and Yuga walk up to the kitchen as well "So, now that you know I mostly made it, do you still like it or not?" Romin asks

"I do not like it, traitor!" Luke responds making Romin gasps and looks away sadly "I love it!" he corrects much to the girl's surprise "Bro, I could go for seconds! Even thirds!" he said handing Romin the empty plate much to the girl's amazed "and don't be stingy with the toppings! Pile it on!"

Romin smiles and takes "Okay, round two on the way!" she states happily as she and Zevis makes more plates for everyone

"Whoa, this stuff does look disgusting but the flavor's awesome!" Yuga said.

"Yes! It's quite good" Rayne agree.

"Why, it's better than good, I would even say that it's delicious!" Rino adds.

"I think it's delicious too, and I can't even taste it!" a floating drone states while holding a plate of Romin's Curry.

Luke stares at the curry for a moment "This color reminds me of something" he said in question but then gasps "Wait! I've got it! It's the same color as my Dragias!" he points out.

Zevis tilts his head confused "Dragias?" he repeats

Luke then shows him his Ace Monster card "My Strongest monster I have Multistrike Dragon Dragias!" he explains 

Zevis nods "I see..."

"Which also means..." Luke then looks at Romin "You really did make this curry just for me!"

"You did a great job, Romin" Yuga praised.

"So that's why you made the Curry Blue!" Gavin said

"The blue part was unintentional, if you asks us"

"Well, you cook pretty well for a spy" Romin gets taken aback all the sudden "That shouldn't be too surprising, I guess; after all, I bet it was your experience as a spy that inspire you to sneak all those flavors into your curry" Luke said.

Romin frowns "Let it go!" she whined and pouted while the others laugh.

"Can I get another refill, traitor?"

"Yeah, yeah!" Romin takes the plate before walking back to the pot and notices a piece of paper with her initials on it and she looks at "I forgive you, Z" she reads out loud making her smile to herself but realizes that Zevis was already gone before she could even thank him "If I'd know how popular my curry rice would be, I would've made a bigger batch, but I guess I can just add more ingredients!" she states before looking around "Let's start, with..." she looks and smiles "Oh, that'll be perfect, just a few dashes of this white stuff and this purple stuff and I'm good to go!" Romin said while adding salt and pepper.

"Romin?" Yuga calls.

"Everything okay?"

-with Zevis-

Zevis walks out of the building with a satisfied smile on his face knowing that he and Romin are good with one another, he's still not sure about Roa, but decides not to think about it as he hears a sound of shattering glass he looks over and sees Roa's building being splatter out by what he believes is Romin's curry.

Zevis takes a picture of the building and puts his phone back in his pocket "Roa will be so fucked" he said before walking home while laughing imagining Roa's reaction to the building.

"What happened to my building!" the imaginary Roa's words made Zevis laugh even harder as he continues on walking.
