Part 3

It's been a week since Nandini started working here. And also few days since they hugged each other.
But both of them were avoiding each other unwantedly since then.

Manik goes to office in the morning and comes back late in the night so that he don't have to interact with Nandini anymore.
But he was very frustrated and irritated that Nandini is avoiding him. She mostly sits with Nanu whenever he is around. He likes to see Nandini always but he didn't like it when she ignores him.
'Main bhi Dekhta hoon kab tak avoid karogi...' He thought.
He watches her every move stealing glances from her.

Nandini buried herself in Nanu's work mostly taking care of her , massaging her legs , helping her take a walk in the yard for fresh air and enjoy the atmosphere. 

Nandini didn't talk to him after they hugged each other but she didn't like it that he was ignoring her and not talking to her. She likes to see him in front her but she didn't have any choice because he leaves early and comes late. She gets annoyed by his ignorance and gets irritated.
'Aiyyappa... Main bhi dekhti hoon ki kab tak Mujhe avoid karte hai...' She thought to herself.

This ignorance was noticed by none other than Nanu.
She felt that uneasiness between them. She also observed that how they are avoiding each other by staying away and keeping themselves busy In work. She thought that there's something going on in these two loggerheads.
But for time being she kept quiet thinking that if they don't get back to normal in few days than she will take things in her hands.

It was Sunday and Manik didn't go to work... After he had his brunch and went out in the stables to check in his horses. It's been a long time since he spend a quality time with his horse... Specially his most favorite one the black stallion   His name was jack.

Jack

Nandini came behind following him.
"Umm.. Excuse me Manik sir..." She grabbed his attention from the horse.
The horse started getting hyper and excited looking at Nandini.
"Hey buddy... How are you... You miss me... I know even I missed you too..." Without giving any heed to Manik Nandini diverts all her attention to jack. She start rubbing his nose and neck and fed him the sugar cubes she brought with her. The horse started responding to her touches and calmed down.
Nandini tickled his nose and rubbed him vigorously.
It seems like the horse was literally missing Nandini a lot.

Seeing the bond between Nandini and his favorite pet Manik felt jealous. Even animals are fond of her.
"Ms Murthy... What at you doing here... " he asked coldly.
She was still doing what she was doing but she replied.
"I came to ask you what did you decide about me... One week is over... You told me that you will keep me on probation for a week and then tell your decision... If I am good enough or not..." Without any hesitation she blurt out what all she planned to ask.
He studied her for few seconds and said.
"It. Seems like you are lucky... As Nanu is so attached to you in this week that I can't think of any other option but to keep you... " he said plainly.

'But I don't want you to  keep you here because you are walking straight into my life and into my heart... And I don't like it... But for Nanu I have to take this chance... I can't let you go from here...' He thought.
She was watching him from her peripheral vision that he is in deep thoughts. To break his trance she coughed.

"Ahem... So now that I'm staying can I take ride on your horse for sometime... I've been wanting to ride him since I put an eye on him..., he is so adorable... The pure beauty... Please..." She asked him so cheerfully and excitedly that a smile crept on Manik's lips but he suppressed it.
"Do you know how to handle the horses... And specially this breed... I mean It's a bit difficult to manage..." He asked her curiously.
"Yes I know... And I know how to ride... Please... Don't say no... Only for sometime..." She started pleading rubbing the horses neck.
"We use to have black stallion in my home town... But I was very young at that time but still I know how to deal with them..." She said giving another piece of information about her.
He some how came to figures it out that she is from a good family... But the reason she is working here is still unknown to him.

"Ok... You can go... But be back within an hour... And the trees further down becomes very dense so don't go too far..." He instructed her.
"And be careful..." He added.
"Thank you thank you so much..." She was on the highest level of excitement  right now cheering like a young girl smiling wide showing all her teeth.
"Yes sir..." She said in saluted manner.
'Wow... Aiyyappa... Yeh Mr khadoos... Aaj itne soft kaise ho Gaye... Did the sun rise from west today... He hired me... And he gave me permission to ride his horse... Good good... ' she smiles to herself and hops on the horse holding his belt near his neck.
She settled herself on the saddle and adjusted her feet on the side feeling him.
"So Jack... Ready to have some fun..." She patted his neck and bend down and gave a kiss.
"Let's go..." She held on to the horses throat latch and gave a slight kick by her feet.
Jack moved forward few steps.
"Be a good boy Jack..." Manik patted his neck too before they leaves.

Manik watches her from the back enjoying the scene as she looked more sexier riding a horse that too a black stallion with the perfect dressing , black jeans and a white half sleeves T shirt and small boots with her long silky hair tied in a high ponytail.
It looks like this is meant to be , the picture perfect.

He called the boy who works here.
"Chotu... Yahan aana..."
"Ji Saab ji... "
"Nandini madam yahan aati hai Kya roz..." He asked.
"Ji Saab ji... Roj... Woh ghodon ke saath baat karti hai... Aur unko chara bhi deti hai... Aur ghodon ko pani bhi nehlati hai..." Chotu explained.
"Kabhi ghoda lekar gayi hai..." He is just curious to know that how Jack became friendly with her.. He is a very tough and wild horse to tackle easily.
"Nai Saab ji... But Ek baar maine suna Woh Jack se baatien kar rahi thi... Ki Woh aapse poochne ke baad Jack per sawaari karegi..." He said.
"Acha Tum jao..." Manik thought that she didn't take a horseback ride without his permission. He felt a proud feeling.

Nandini was riding hearing the galloping of Jack. She was in a very good mood as Manik gave her permission to ride Jack and confirmed her job.
"Jack... Don't you think your master was too generous today... He talked nicely with me... He confirmed my job and he even let me ride you... So many good things in one day... Really I feel that today was my lucky day... What do you say boy..." She patted his neck.
Jack neighed as if understanding everything Nandini says.
But in real as they say that even animals can feel the pure and clean heart of a human... Maybe Jack was feeling the same thing about Nandini.

The way he was taking Nandini shows that how excited he was taking his favorite passenger on him.   
After disappearing in the trees Nandini gave a hard kick to Jack so that he can run faster.  And there it goes.
"Eee Hawww... Common boy lets run fast..." Nandini screams in the air.
"Wooo... Hooo..". Nandini was enjoying to the fullest. Both Jack and her was having conversations riding like flying in the air.

At that moment nothing else matters to  her and she forgets all her problems and was just enjoying the ride.
Nandini's didn't notice the way where she was going. And how deep she is going into the dense forest.
All of a sudden Jack pulled himself with a screech of neighing. Nandini startled by his sudden move. She didn't know suddenly what happened to Jack.
But being a horse how can he warn Nandini that he saw a snake passing by in front of them from a distance. Though they were very far away from the house but Jack was being very freaky right now and he was just lift his front legs in the midair and was making circles imbalancing Nandini.
"What happened boy... Why you behaving like this... Are you alright..." Nandini panicked by his wildness.
She looked around and get scared seeing the unknown territory.
"I didn't listen to Manik... Kaise sunti... Kehna manne ki aadath jo nahi hai...
Pad gayi na mushkil mein... Pata bhi nahi Ki yeh Kya jagah hai... " she started her ranting against in her panicky state.
"Agar Mujhe Kuch ho Gaya Tou... What if S lion or a tiger comes and eat me..." She shivers with the thought.
She didn't know what to do or how to calm jack  down who is constantly making circles lifting his front feet. He was just jumping and hoofing until Nandini lost  the balance and fell off from him on her back and her head went and hit a tree trunk very hard.
"Maniiik..." She screamed before
She fell unconscious right away. Jack ran back to the house finding its way.

"Nandini gayi Kya... Jack ko lekar..." Nanu asked Manik as soon as Manik entered the house.
"Haan... Par aapko kaise pata..." Manik was surprised that Nanu knows about Nandini's plan.
"Badi hi pyaari ladki hai... Keh rahi thi... Ki tujhse pooch kar Jack ko ghumane le jaayegi..." She said.
'But how come Nandini was sure that I will give her the permission to take Jack...' Manik thought.
He felt elated that she seeks his permission before going.
Manik got himself busy in his laptop and Nanu went back to her room to read.. After a couple of hours Nanu came and asked ,
"Maano... Itni der ho gayi... Nandini abhi tak nahi aayi... Tu Zara dekh Tou..." Manik who was engrossed in his work didn't noticed that so much of time has passed since Nandini was gone. He got up with a jerk and telling Nanu  to relax and not to worry and he went outside.

"Chotu... Chotu..." He yelled chotu's name.
"Ji Saab Ji..." Choti came running from his room.
"Nandini madam aa gayi hai Kya..." He asked being very concerned for her.
"Nai Saab Ji... Abhi tak Tou nahi aayi..." He answered.
"Mujhe batana chahiye tha na..." He got mad at him.
'I shouldn't have let her go alone... This place is new for her... She is so over confidence of herself... I should've known that she will bring herself in some kinda trouble... What should I do now... I have to go look for her... It's been more than two hours...' He was talking to himself.
"Tum sandy Ko ready karo... Main abhi Aata hoon..." Sandy is another beautiful horse brown in color which matches his name perfectly.

But before he went inside he heard horse footsteps. He turned to see the Jack was coming alone from a distance. He ran to Jack and see a very worried and neighing horse.
"What happened Jack.. Where is Nandini..." As if Jack can answer.
He hopped on to the horse and without thinking anything else... But before he adjusted himself Jack took off.
Ha managed to hold Jack's throat latch and let him guide the way.
Right than the clouds roared on his head and he let got a swear from his mouth.
'Isi Ki kami thi... Yeh bin mausam Ki baarish  Ko bhi Aaj hi hona tha...' He muttered under his breath when it started pouring from nowhere.

Jack was going on and on going deep inside the trees which was leading into the forest. After riding for more than half an hour jack took him where Nandini fall but Manik couldn't figure out where she is and jack couldn't show him the exact place.
'She came this far even after I told her not to...' He thought getting more frustrated.
'Why didn't she listen to me,.,' he gets mad.
The place was wet and muddy because of heavy rain and the visibility is not up to the mark ,only option left for him is to scream.

"Nandiniii..." He screamed her name in the void...
But he didn't get any response.
He didn't know if she was ok or not, he didn't know if she is also looking for him or not , he didn't know  if she is finding her way back home or not , he didn't know anything right now her whereabouts.
He was frustrated as well as scared for her.
"Oh god please don't let anything happen to her... I can't afford to loose her too... Please let her be safe... Please show me where she is..." He pleaded to God unknowingly unaware of the fact that how he is falling for her.
He was drenched in rain and he ran his hands through  his hair out of his eyes taking it behind.

"Nandini Kahan ho yaar... Please saamne aajao... " he was on the verge of crying not finding her feeling so helpless.  His patience level is giving him hard time to control himself. He couldn't understand how can he just find her , but he was scared to death with the thought of loosing her. What if something happened to her.
"Aaahhh..." He screamed with so much of pain of not able to anything. But suddenly jack neighed loudly for couple of times which grab his attention. He jumped down and went where jack was going and got the shock of his life.
Nandini was lying down flat on the ground on her back. Her face turned a light color of blue and she was soaked in water. Her white T shirt is drenched in mud and water and her hands are also looking a light color of blue.

He bend down immediately on her and took her in his arms.
"Nandini... Nandini... Wake up... Are you all right... Please don't do this to me..." He hugged her cold and almost lifeless body...tightly in his arms trying to hide her from all the dangers but he couldn't.
His eyes started shedding tears seeing her in this condition which is being mixed up in the rain water.
"Nandini please uth jaao... See main Tum par ghussa nahi honga... I won't yell on you... Please... I won't even get mad on you... Please yaar uth jaao... " he separated her from him and held her head and shook her hard to wake her up. But failed. Nandini is not in a condition to wake up.
He pulled her head back again to his chest presiding her close with his one hand and wrapped his other arm around her tightly.
"No I won't let anything happen to you... " saying that he bend down on her chest and tried to hear her heartbeat. Her heart was beating very slowly. He rubbed her back.
"I won't let anything happen to you..." He lift her in bridal style and called jack
"Jack..." He yelled.
He took out his phone saving from water. He makes a call.
"Hello chotu... Jaldi jaa kar hakim Saab Ko le aa... Emergency hai..." Before hearing anything he hang up the phone.

Jack came seeing his master holding his favorite friend/carrier..., he bend down so that Manik  can settled on him without disturbing Nandini. Manik didn't broke the hug and the way he was holding Nandini he let her legs wrap around his waist and puts her hands around his neck and rest her head on his shoulder..., held her close tightly  not letting her go. And also held on to Jack's leather latch.
"Jack take us as fast as you can without making us fall..." He told Jack and off he goes.
Jack ran... As his sweetest passenger's life is at stake.. He make it through within 20 minutes.
Manik got off from horse as soon as he reached there.
Chotu came near him.
"Kya hua hakim Saab Kahan hai..." Manik yelled at him.
"Saab Ji ghar par koi nahi hai... Aai market gayi thi par bearish Ki wajah se raste mein ruk gayi...  isiliye baba Gaye hai hakim Saab Ko lane..." Chotu explained.
"Aur Nanu... Woh Kahan hai..."
"Woh so rahi hai... Aai ne kaha Ki unko akela mutt Chodna..." Manik understood and said.
"Acha hakim Saab Ko seedha mere room mein le aana..." Saying that he rushed to his room. So that Nanu don't get disturbed by the noises and also because she is so attached to Nandini that she will definitely gets worried for her.

He put Nandini on his bed and took her shoes off..
"Yeh Tou saari bheegi hui hai... Iske clothes change Karna hoga..." He said and went into the washroom. He changed himself into a gray track pant and black t shirt.
When he came out  he heard a knock on his door. He opened the door and let the people come in.
"Namaste hakim Saab... " Manik said.
"Namaste... Kya hua Miya... Kyun itni gadbad mein bulwana pada..." An old man in his 80's came inside.
He saw Nandini on the bed and understands the scenes. He sat near her and checked her pulse. It was running very slow.
"Lagta hai kisi zehreele keede  ne kaata hai... Aur thoda zeher  bhi phaila hai... Bachi neeli ho gayi hai..." Hakim Saab gave his theory.

"Zeher nikal Tou jaayega na... Hakim Saab..." Manik asked with concern.
"Haan Haan nikal jaayega... Par thoda time lagega... Main yeh lep lagata hoon... Aur ek kada deta hoon... Dekhte hain... Kitna jaldi Kaam karta hai..." Hakim Saab examined her hands ,and checked her eyes which looked pale and while examining her hands he saw a big greenish blueish mark on the back of her arm.
"Dekha yeh nishaan... " and he stared rubbing the green color paste on her arm and wrapped her with a gauge bandage.
"Yeh theek Tou ho jaayegi naa..." Manik asked getting worried for her.
"Sabar rakhiye... Janaab... Theek ho jaayegi...  Subah tak hosh aa jaayega..." hakim gave a satisfying answer.
'Subah Tou main khud isko Doctor ke paas le jaaunga...' He thought.

Manik was very uneasy seeing her so pale. If it's in his hands than he would've shook her and make her wake up in seconds.
'Gaawwd... She is so innocent even in her unconscious state... How did I act so rude with her... How...'
"Mujhe aapke ghar Ki rasoi use Karna hai... Kada banane..." Hakim Saab break his trance and asked.
Manik signed chotu to show him the kitchen.
"Aur Haan apni begun ke kapde Badal dijiye... Warna pneumonia ho jaayega... Unka jism kamzoor ho Gaya hai... " hakim advised him before leaving.
"Begum..." Manik asked questioningly.
"Begum... Yeh biwi hi hai na aapki?????"  Hakim asked. He got surprised by hakim's question. Pulling himself together he said
"Jee..." And kept quiet.
Manik didn't know what else to say so he accepted her as his wife just for time being. Or...

He came down quickly and grab a pair of clothes for Nandini and asked chotu if his aai  came or not. Chotu said no.
He went back to his room and locked the door behind him. He also closed the curtains to make the room dark as it was still day time and he didn't want to give air to his uninvited desires.
He came slowly near the bed and watched her with love in his eyes.
"I'm sorry Nandini... I have to do this... I have no other choice... But I will not misuse your unconscious state..."

Already the room is dark but still , He closed his eyes and slipped his hand under her to lift her close to him. Her body not at all responding to his touches. But he is doing a commendable job controlling his feeling and his raising hormones.
He lift the shirt from her waist all the way to the top of her head and took it off. Her head fell on his shoulder. He also unclasped her lingerie and took it off gritting his teeth to control his fingers from going to the the desired but unwanted place. He can feel her soft and delicate body under his fingers.
He quickly makes her wear her kurti and and moved away from her. He makes himself calm and then again he bend down on her and opened the buttons of her jeans and tugged it off of her and without wasting any time he slipped her pajamas on her.
After adjusting her properly and moving her to the dry side of the bed...he went and opened the curtains. Coming back to her he saw the serenity on her face. It looks so simple yet very beautiful without any make up or any fake things.
He sat beside her and cleaned the dried leaves and dried mud from her face and remove the hair that was sticked on her forehead.
He took a dry towel and dried her hair and bend down on her and kissed her forehead.
"Agar tumhe Kuch ho jaata naa... Tou main apne aapko kabhi maaf nahi karta... I would've never forgiven myself..." Tears swam in his eyes just thinking about loosing her.
He heard a knock again on his door.
He wiped away the tears and opened the door and hakim gave him a bowl of kada.
"Yeh unko pila dijiye..." He said.
"Par hakim Saab... Woh hosh mein nahi hai... Kaise piyegi..." Manik asked him.
"Piyegi... Aap unko utha ke chamach se moonh mein daaliye... Pani hai khudba khud hi ander chala jaayega... Agar nahi pilaya Tou ander ka zeher ander hi reh jaayega..." Hakim explained him.
Manik came inside and putting the bowl on the night stand he sat beside her again and he lift her in his arms. He rest the back of her head on his left shoulder and putting his arm around her he held her face in his thumb and fingers and pressed open her mouth , using his right hand he takes the bowl and starts feeding her the kaada...
He makes sure that it's going down her throat spilling some from the sides of her mouth.
He finished it with very difficulty but he managed to do it.
"Ab yeh kada Kaam karega Aur aap fikar mutt kariye yeh subah tak hosh mein aa jaayegi..." Hakim said.
Manik took a breath of relief and asked chotu to offer tea to the hakim.
He went down too to make sure that Nanu was ok.
Nanu is already awake and asked about Nandini... Manik explained her what happened... And Nanu got so much worried for her. But Manik said that she is out of danger. So she relaxed.
It was night and after having dinner Manik makes Nanu rest in her room and came back to Nandini.

She was still unconscious , but the blueish color from her face was gone instead , her face looks pale now... But that's because of the after effects of the poison. She was sleeping peacefully, but still looking weak from her face.
He stares at her face for a good amount of time and not able to handle her lying unconscious he came out from his room.
He went straight into the gym that was located right beside his room.
He puts his boxing gloves on and started hitting his punching bag. He was taking out his frustration of not able to control his feelings for her... On the punching bag.

'How she sneaked into my heart so quietly..." ,
how her smiling face is flashing in front of his eyes... How she became so important to his life...
'In just one week , it looks like she was part of me since a long time... ' thinking about her he was constantly hitting.
He didn't  want to accept this fact that he has fallen for her so deep that it's difficult for him to back off...
'What if she too leaves me like her... She is here for only two months... What about after that... I won't be able to tolerate the distance again... Oh Gawd... Why you have to make it so complicated...' He thought and hit the bag again.

He heard a tap of the stick on his gym floor. He turned to see Nanu standing in the doorway..
"Nanu... Aap upar kyun aaye... Mujhe bula lete naa... Itne seedhiyaan chadhne  Ki Kya zaroorath thi..." Manik hold Nanu's hand and make her sit on the sofa near them.
Nanu get her breath together and sits quietly for some time.
Manik gave her a glass of water.
"Tujhe pata hai... Maine kabhi socha bhi nahi tha Ki main phir se seedhiyaan chadh paaungi ya nahi... But Nandini ne yeh kiya hai... Woh Roz mere pairon Ki maalish karti hai... Roz Mujhe saiyr karati hai... Aur dekh Aaj... Main seedhiyaan bhi chadhne lagi hoon..." Nanu started talking.
Manik sat near her knees and rest his head on her lap. Nanu caresses his hair with affection.

"Kyun apne aap se ladh raha hai... Kyun apne dil ke darwaaze band kar ke baitha hai... Khol de ... Aane de usko ander... Kab tak Tu Neha ke gham mein apni kushiyon Ko apne se dur karta rahega????" Nanu asked him so many questions.
Manik closed his eyes.
"Yeh bhi Mujhe chod kar chali gayi Tou... Maa Ki tarha ... Neha Ki tarha... " Manik's eyes got moist behind his closed lashes with the insecurities.
"Aise naa Bol... Teri maa Aur Neha bahut hi pyaari thi... Issi liye Bhagwan ne unko apne paas bula liya... Par unke badle mein dekh... Kitni pyaari bachi Nandini Ko tere paas bhijwaya hai...usse sambhal ke rakh..." Nanu explained  him about her.
"Par main uske baare mein Kuch nahi janta... Woh kaun hai Aur Kahan se aayi hai... Aur agar Woh bhi Mujhe chod kar chali gayi Tou... Nanu main zinda nahi reh paaunga..." He sobbed without crying.
"Jaanti hoon... Tou jaan uske baare mein... Baat kar uss se... Usko mutt jaane de... Har waqt usko ghussa mutt kiya kar..." She said very politely.
"Acha ab Mujhe uske paas le jaa... Main usko dekhna chahti hoon..." Nanu said.

Manik makes her stand and took her to his room. Nanu sat beside her and caressed her head and gave a kiss on her forehead. Manik felt happy seeing the bond between Nanu and Nandini.
"Bahut kamzoor lag rahi hai... Jab isse hosh aaye Tou iska achi tarha se khayaal rakhna... " Nanu instructed him.
"Ab Mujhe mere kamre mein chod aa..." Manik lift Nanu in his arms and went downstairs to her room.
He make her sleep and went back to his room. He sat beside her on the bed and puts his palm on her forehead. He rest his head on the bed headboard and closed his eyes.

Next morning when he woke up he saw that Nandini turned in her sleep and was snuggling  to his waist while he slouched  more on the bed. Her hands are hugging his waist and his on her shoulders.
Basically they both were sleeping hugging each other. He tried to untie her but he didn't want to disturb her sleep. He was just admiring her by watching her untouched beauty.
