Logan's P.O.V.

The selection of horses was very wide. Ranging from size and color, and of course, Armin picked his stallion pretty quickly.

"Hello Richard!" He greeted his horse. I cringed at the name, causing heads to turn in my direction. I shrugged, looking away and hoping to push out the name. "What?" Armin asked me.

"That was the name of our father." Elise murmured into his ear, then turned back to the horses. She picked a black steed, naming her Allegro, like the rhythm in music. I, myself, chose a white horse who shyly trotted over to me, nibbling my hair before racing back to the group.

"Hey there White Flame." I smiled towards the tall, nickering, horse. Mikasa saddled her horse, Firefly, a dandelion yellow stallion with a black mane. The cadets were going to set off on our first training session when a voice louder than thunder shook the ground.

"OI! SHITTY SNOW WHITE! GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE."

Elise squealed, hiding behind me as the corporal stormed up to us.

"What's the matter sir?" I asked, trying to cover Elise's body with my own. Levi set his steely gaze on me and I stared back at him; nothing would scare me if it meant protecting my sister.

"Shit glasses said that she was here. Elise Frost is supposed to report to my squad." He said through clenched teeth. I folded my arms across my chest, giving him a 'don't you even dare' look.

"Irwin said I can have a week with the cadets!" Elise defended from behind my back.

"Hell no." Levi snapped. The rest of the cadets had left, seeing as this was none of their problem. Mikasa and Armin stayed though, and since I was the only standing between my sister and the short corporal, I stood my ground.

"I'll give you two days. No more." with that, he turned in his heels and strode off, leaving us all dumbfounded.

"Man, you were lucky to even let him consider a compromise." I smirked at my sister. "Better not be doing anything funky with the corporal." Elise's face immediately turned red while Armin snorted in laughter. I laughed the loudest as we followed the other cadets.

"Today, you'll be training in the trees; working to find titans in a heavily dense forest." The instructor explained. "You'll be reviewed, so do your best and try to cut as deep as you can into the neck."

We flew off. Skimming trough the trees in search of the wooden cutouts of the monstrous titans. Unlike the other cadets who relied on no one, my sister and I stuck close.

"Six o'clock!" She yelled to me over the sound of hooks shooting out to grasp the wood of the trees. I turned in the direction she told me and we sped off together. Out of the corner of my eye, in a dense tree, hidden in the shadow, I saw Corporal Levi stare intently at our training technique.

"Shortie's watching." I informed my sister with a sly smirk. Her face turned red once more before she sped ahead, slicing a deep chunk out of the titan dummy. We synchronized our movements; becoming one and the same. An unstoppable force. I moved fast toward the titan cutout, at the last minute, Elise used a line to jerk herself to the right and out of the way as I made the deathly blow.

"Twelve 'o clock!" I informed her as I saw another cut out. We moved like a river through the forest as we gave each other a chance. On the last dummy, Elise let her cables retract eagerly and she pulled her body close as she used the momentum to spin around quickly. She became a blur of white and green as she sliced off the entire nape section with precise accuracy. Everyone stared in amazement; Eren, Jean, Reiner, hell, even me. My sister let herself fall a few feet before catching herself with her lines. Elise looked up at everyone from her position where she was sustained in the air.

"What?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. She always gave the same snort at her skill as she always did before walking off. Eren always said these boots were made for walking, and that's what she does. I felt a chuckle escape my lips, and I followed her inside where we awaited lunch with the rest of our friends.

"No, seriously, how did you do that?!" Jean was having a hard time with the answer she always gave about our training abilities. After our father and mother died in Shiganshina, I took it upon myself to make sure we never had to worry each other about death. Many of our friends around all the walls were like our network of children and teens who hoped to follow in our shoes.

"That's just how we train." She gave her best pokerface as she dipped her bread in her soup. The short man walked into the dining hall, skimming his eyes across the horizon until they came to land on me. Who couldn't recognized Levi when he walked in the room? He was so short,..

"Are you the bitchy Snow White's brother, Logan Frost?" He asked.

"Yeah, who wants to know?" I said, turning to face him. I swear, from the corner of my eye, I saw a bunch of second year cadets swoon and point in my direction. He looked up at me, since he was exactly two feet shorter than me. And he had taller boots on to help his height issue.

"I am supposed to escort you to Erwin. There are some thing we'd like to talk about." He rolled his eyes lazily, and that's when Elise scoffed through her drink.

"I can't believe I'm in the same squad as this small asshole." She murmured, and I looked carefully at Levi, hoping he hadn't heard her words.

Too late.

"Bitch." He snapped back.

"Shorty jerk." She winked and pointed her hands like guns toward him. While a smile not only grew on my face, but everyone's as well. That's Elise Frost for you. Always pushing against the current. The yin to the yang. And even though our life was truly different, at that moment, I felt at home in this place.

I know, this is a really crappy chapter, but I couldn't stand not updating any longer. More insults thrown, and skills are shown, but none of the plot has been revealed!! Heheheh.... u don't know what I could do. 😏

After all, I am the master of this story, and all the characters are simply puppets. I only created Elise and Logan for the story, and you know I don't own Attack on Titan.
