"LOGAN!!"

No!! This can't be happening!! I WILL NOT LET HIM DIE LIKE THIS!! He went speeding towards the Titan's jaws, and as a last resort, I unclipped my sword from the handle and hurtled it towards his cables. I heard his grunts of displeasure as he went soaring to the east and well out of harms way. Through all of the chaos, I sighed and instantly felt calm. He landed with a mild thud, but easily shook off the dirt and jumped back to his feet. He raced off and I followed as the titan stood and ran after us.

"Two o'clock!" Logan's assertive voice directed me out of the Titan's grasp as its hand came to smack me like a spider.

"Four o'clock!" I called back. This is how we put up and defense until we had an opening to strike. I retracted my cables and twisted my body in the air for momentum as the scream of the female titan shook my ear drums. Before I could turn back, the titan was steaming away, and the strange human was once again on our heels.

"Be careful! It's a shifter!!" I called to my brother, who moved in a parallel way to me. He nodded, his hair flowing in front of his olive pair of eyes in a dramatic way as a face full of rage his underneath. I widened my eyes, and I shook my head. He wanted us to split up. It would be harder for it to catch us, but it would give it a better chance.

"I won't leave you!" I shot down his request. Swinging closer to him, I took his hand in my own and held it tight.

"There are beings that live off our fears, and their words are like knives as they play with our lives.." he murmured softly, but above the air that whistled by my ear. He detached his cabled and spin around. I was blown back, but he had locked swords with the cloaked shifter.

He turned just in time to block.

His eyes widened; wider than I've ever seen them become, and he seemed to call out a name. I screamed and bled my heart out for him to fight!! FIGHT!

But he didn't. And that delay caused him his life. A slice across the chest. In a similar way to Gunther, but the human went on to shift back into a titan and bit the lower half of Logan's body clean off.

"LOGAN!!" My scream seemed to echo the forest as steam rose high in the sunset and mixing with the orange sky. He fell to the ground, and I fell to my knees high up on a branch. My body went instantly numb; my fingers feeling as if they could fall off. No tears.

None at all.

Logan's smile,

Why...

On instinct to live, my body raced off the branch I broke down on just as it was snapped off by a late hand.

"They'll try to control you as if they own you.." I sang softly the lullaby my mother had sung when we were kids. But that dream was dashed when the Titans killed my mother.

"DAMN YOU!!" I screamed at the titan, rage and adrenaline pumping through my veins to live.

Will you let them steal your freedom?

Hell no. Not without a fight. I screamed in anger as I sliced at its flesh and hot, steamy blood spattering into my cheek. Rage now took over my being, and I would never let it go. The picture of my brother's dead body in mangled position kept the fire of anguish high. I jumped from the tree and dug my last pair of swords into her eyes where I twisted them as I heard it scream in agony. Before I knew it, Titans had tackled the female to the ground, pounding at its chest in fury. I was flung to the ground helplessly as the Titans were more focused on the big one. Why are they helping? How did they know I was here?

"You always were a mysterious twin." A familiar voice snuck up behind me, sending a shiver down my spine in fear. No. How could she be here?

She joined the military regiment!!

I turned quickly to my friend, but only saw my own blood splattered and my eyes widened. It was her. She is the one to blame for Logan's death. I could feel the pain spread across my torso in an X, and my vision became black on the edges. I tried to attack, but she stopped me with a quick jab to the stomach; bursting the pain into my whole system.

"Damn... you...." I tried to scream, but it meant nothing as my vocal chords were used up. I let gravity take me down onto the now calm ground. It was cool, soft. Nobody wants to die too fast, but it's too late for me. I closed my eyes, and let my life replay in front of my eyes.

Death.

Laughter.

And then there was Levi.

"Bitch. Get up and live." His words may not have been filled with concern, but they truly motivated.

Too bad those words came too late.
