It had been three months, and Esmeralda had never felt so happy. Sosuke was so loving, chivalrous, and romantic. He never showed that part of himself to her, but marriage seemed to bring out his nature. The young woman thought Sosuke was hiding parts of himself so others wouldn't use what they knew to their advantage. Esmeralda would ask her husband about any progress of the case back to the States. He would give her short answers, but she knew Sosuke was still wanted for a crime he didn't commit.

She knew that Sosuke didn't want her to get worried. The young woman remembered that a couple of UK agents from the National Crime Agency had arrived at the Hellsing Manor. Amelia told her that the US FBI informed the agents about the crimes. However, the Hellsing Family was well-respected and never created an issue. The Hellsing men explained the situation. Bradley also used the opportunity to search into Yhwach's illegal activities. 

Yhwach may have hired people to hide his tracks, but the agents had many resources. The agents decided to help even if it went against protocol. It was decided to look at many European countries, including the states, to see if there were any illegal activities. The brothers also decided to look into Yhwach's birth country, Romania. That was where their father died, but they all suspected Yhwach killed him.

The good thing is that the Hellsing Family had the National Crime Agency on their side. However, Issa had other friends who were professionals digging up information; they agreed to help. Sosuke felt at ease, even if it was for a moment. He didn't know what the future would entail, but it wouldn't stop him from living an everyday life with Esmeralda, even if it were for a short moment. His life as a married man was heavenly. Esmeralda insisted that she cook and clean for him, even though he could do so himself. Esmeralda never changed who she indeed was. 

Sosuke even showed more of his romantic side. He hadn't noticed until now. It embarrassed him a bit, and Esmeralda would tease him about it. Yet, she admitted that she liked that side of him. Now, there was Ace.

Ace would visit occasionally and keep his distance from him and Esmeralda. Sosuke knew that his cousin was still heartbroken. He didn't want to pressure his cousin to speak to him or do something he didn't want. 

At the moment, Sosuke was in his office doing work for the family company. He wanted to do something to keep himself distracted. While working, there was a knock on the door. "Yes?" The door opened, and it was his Uncle Bradley. "Uncle, I was about to finish the reports you wanted."

Bradley let out a soft chuckle. "I'm not here for that, my boy. I got a phone call from Starrk. He and Tsukushima will be coming tomorrow."

Sosuke was surprised that his half-brothers would be showing up. "You told them where we were? Do you think that was a good idea?"

"I would trust them, Sosuke. You and I know that your brothers were never close with Yhwach. I know they were shocked by what happened with their mother and Kenpachi. I believe they can help us to bring Yhwach to justice. We will need all the help we can get."

"Uncle, it has been three months. Do you think that...?"

Bradley shook his head. "I know you want to live your life with your wife out of hiding, but I doubt Yhwach will stop looking. He is consumed with his obsession with Esmeralda. I promise you that we will stop him."

"Any findings about Yhwach's illegal activities?"

"Not yet, Yhwach is good at hiding his tracks, but I decided to do something to give us an advantage."

"Which is?"

Bradley was silent for a moment. "I permitted the Romanian secret agents to exhume my father's grave. I want his body to be taken here to get it examined for his cause of death. I was just informed that his body arrived five days ago and want me to identify his body, to make sure."

Sosuke stood up from his seat. "Uncle, why!?"

"His death reports state that he died from natural causes. However, Romanian authorities are easily bribed, and there is a possibility that Yhwach did just that. I also paid the authorities to get my father's body. I must also identify to ensure it is him; his portrait was drawn."

The young man noticed his uncle's eyes. "Uncle, will you be able to handle it? I know you and the others weren't there for his funeral."

Bradley sighed. "It will hurt a bit. What my father did to my mother, I will never forgive him. Yet, I can't deny that he was a good father to my brothers and me. Exposing how he died could give us an advantage."

"Do you want me to go with you?"

"My brothers and I will go. I guess we all want closure."

Sosuke nodded. "Alright, I will be here if you need anything."

Meanwhile, Esmeralda was in the kitchen helping Amelia and the other women cook. Amelia said that her sons and Adrian would visit today for a moment. They didn't want to raise too much suspicion. While cooking, Lisa noticed how uncomfortable Esmeralda was. "Esmeralda, are you alright?"

Esmeralda flinched. "Huh? Oh, yes! Sorry, I'm feeling a little sleepy. I think my monthly will be coming soon. I hope."

Amelia, Rouge, and Akasha also stopped cooking and looked at Esmeralda. "You hope? When was the last time you had your monthly?" asked Amelia.

The young woman was surprised by the question and thought about the last time she had it. "Th-Three months ago. I have irregular periods sometimes, but this is the longest I haven't had."

"What else have you been feeling besides tiredness?" asked Lisa.

"I-I've been feeling a bit nauseated, breast tenderness, and sometimes fatigued." Esmeralda stilled. She didn't have her period for three months. 

"Let me examine you. I have expertise in many parts of medicine and the human body. Esmeralda was motioned to lie on a sofa while Lisa gently touched and put some pressure on her stomach and pelvis. Esmeralda flinched and felt as if she wanted to vomit. She immediately stood and ran to the restroom and let it out. The women looked at one another and then at Lisa. Esmeralda vomited for a while until she walked out of the bathroom. Esmeralda looked at Lisa.

"There's no doubt. You display the symptoms. You're pregnant. However, I will buy you a pregnancy test to ensure."

Esmeralda stilled as she slowly put her hand over her womb. "Pregnant..."
