Question

The brothers called their wives and children about the situation; they knew no one was safe. The wives and the rest of the children packed their belongings, readying themselves to move elsewhere. The wives would go with their husbands, while the others would move out of state or to another country. To their luck, they had connections to different parts of the world.

Bradley was able to get a hold of his nephew, Starrk. Starrk was surprised that his Uncle would be calling him. Bradley asked if he knew his mother's situation; Starrk informed him that he and Tsukishima had visited her and Kenpachi a while ago. It tore Bradley to do it, but he told his nephew about the situation and his mother. Starrk was silent throughout the conversation but was in denial of what had happened with his mother. The older man told his nephew to check on his mother and that everything he said was true.

Starrk hung the phone, and that was that. "Do you think he believed you?" asked Vlad.

"His reaction is what I expected, but I know Starrk will call the police to see if what Yhwach did was true. Either way, we cannot take any chances. Sosuke and Esmeralda need to go into hiding. They will also need new identities." Bradley then looked at his contacts to look for one of his friends, a pilot, to take his nephew and Esmeralda to England. He and his brothers still owned the Hellsing Manor since their grandfather passed it on. Their families would sometimes stay there for vacations or other events.

"Bradley, Yhwach will not stop until he has Esmeralda. I fear that he might find them anyway."

Bradley shook his head. "I will do everything I can to ensure that doesn't happen. Now I have to make some calls." Vlad watched as his brother made phone calls. He thought it was best not to stress his brother further. However, Vlad couldn't stop thinking of the possibilities that could happen. Something was telling him that something was going to go wrong.

Esmeralda was in the house where she and her father stayed at. Ace and Sosuke assisted her with packing. Ace's mother informed him that she and Gol D. packed most of their belongings. Ace would look at the young woman sitting motionless in the room her father used to be in. He felt terrible for her; she had lost all of her family. Yet, he thought he and the rest of the Hellsing were her family.

Also, Sosuke would never leave her side. It hurt Ace that Esmeralda loved Sosuke, but he wanted her to be happy. He would be there for her when she needed it.

Meanwhile, Esmeralda sat on the bed her father used to lie in. She slowly lay on the bed, feeling the sheets. The memory of her father came back to her. She remembered when he and her mother used to play with her, cook, read, and care for her. Suddenly, she felt something touch her head. Esmeralda sat up and looked around, but there was no one there.

Sosuke appeared with two bags. "Esmeralda, it's time for us to go. My Uncle called me and said our flight is waiting for us."

The young woman knew she might never return to the United States once she left the room. Yet, she had Sosuke now. They both loved each other and would do anything for one another. "Okay, I'm ready to go."

Yhwach was being driven back to the secret hideout. Yhwach spoke with his lawyers to prepare the rest of the plan. He and Esmeralda would leave for Romania first thing in the morning. Once they both get there, she will have no other option but to sign the marriage papers, and everything will be set in stone. She will be his wife, and Sosuke will be out of the way.

Everything was going where he wanted it to be. He felt that his next step was to get rid of his brothers. Yhwach won't be able to rest easy if they were still alive; they might try to get Esmeralda away from him and get authorities involved. Yet, Yhwach had influence and power in many places so it wouldn't be too difficult. Bradley was a more significant threat; he still didn't know if Bradley was alive. He couldn't be, but Bradley did have a reputation in the military, and many died by his hand. If Bradley were alive, he would have to try to eliminate him.

He finally arrived at the house, but the guards weren't outside, watching his confusion. He exited his car, and the rest of his guards followed suit. Yhwach didn't know why, but he felt something in the pit of his stomach. The older man made it inside the house; he saw his guards surrounding a couple of the others. "What has happened here!?"

The rest of his men flinched as they looked at their boss. "S-Sir, we found them here; they seem dead."

Yhwach's eyes became wide. "Esmeralda! Is she still in her room!?"

"W-We don't know, sir. We-" The guard wasn't able to finish as Yhwach pushed them aside as ran up the stairs toward Esmeralda's room. The door was closed but unlocked when he turned the knob. His heart was racing as he opened the room; it was empty. He looked around. "Esmeralda!?" Yhwach opened the closed doors, looking everywhere and in different rooms. "Esmeralda, respond to me this instant!"

There was no response. His eyes became wider. She was gone. She had escaped but had help. How? Yhwach realized that Sosuke must have been behind this; his brothers must have also helped. He couldn't understand how they found out about the place.

Gone!

Gone!

Gone!

His icy blue eyes turned slightly red from his anger. He went back downstairs. "All of you, go find Esmeralda! Go to the homes of my brothers! If they refuse to answer or hide my woman, then kill them! Kill them all! Now go!"

His guards trembled at his voice and went to follow his orders. Yhwach slowly put his back on the wall; he was shocked, angry, and hurt. Esmeralda left him; she was taken away from him. She was with Sosuke in his arms. He couldn't allow them to be together for too long. Yhwach had to find them and get Esmeralda back. It was ruining his plans, but now he had to change everything. Yhwach declared war, and he would not stop until he emerged victorious.

...........................................

After a couple of hours after driving and arriving at the airport, Ace, Esmeralda, and Sosuke were on one of the many Hellsing jets Bradley owned. The pilot was a long-time friend of Bradley's since they both went to the military and helped one another when they were in need. Bradley's friend knew of the situation and gladly decided to help Bradley's nephews. The flight was ten hours, and they all needed an hour more to reach their destination.

Luckily, all three had enough space to lie down, get up, stretch, and walk. Esmeralda sat next to the window, looking outside. The young woman had been silent throughout the plane ride. Ace and Sosuke knew that she was silently grieving. Sosuke felt terrible for his love. He was the last person to see Anselmo alive; it should have been Esmeralda that should have been by her father's side.

However, Yhwach took that away from Esmeralda; it angered Sosuke. He couldn't believe Yhwach would go so low as to kill Unohana and Kenpachi to frame him for the murders. Sosuke knew that Yhwach had connections in high places, and it would be difficult to prove his innocence. The young man wondered if Esmeralda would have accepted Yhwach's proposal. The thought of her being with Yhwach hurt Sosuke's stomach; it would have broken him. He would have preferred death than to know the woman he loved was with another man. Ace wanted to talk to her, but Sosuke stopped him; Esmeralda needed her own space.

"Hello, everyone on board. We will land in five minutes, so please take your seats; thank you."

The plane began to lower, and Esmeralda saw England from the window. It was beautiful, but she felt nothing. The plane eventually landed, and everyone began to get out of the plane with their luggage. The pilot, named Gregory, stood before the three of them. "I wish you all the best of luck. I can't believe this is happening to all of you. Please be safe." Gregory went on his way as the group went into London's airport, where there was an SUV with some guards.

Bradley and his brothers had some influence in England because of their Hellsing heritage. Some legends say that the Hellsing originated from the time of King Arthur, and many Hellsing descendants supposedly took part in vampire hunts. However, the Hellsing became better known and well-respected during World War II. Arthur Hellsing was one of many commanders during the war. Arthur helped many of his men under his command to safety and went far and beyond to help win the war. Sosuke knew that his Uncle chose England as their sanctuary since the British people would defend them and be critical if any family members were accused of something despicable like murder. Sosuke wasn't a Hellsing by blood. Still, Bradley raised and loved Sosuke as his son, so he legally changed his last name.

All three were driven silently to the Hellsing manor until they arrived at their destination another hour later. Two guards opened the gates, and all three saw a large building that looked like a university building, with many trees along the pathway toward the building. For Esmeralda, the Hellsing Manor looked like a castle to her from a gothic fairy tale; it had a mysterious appearance. They finally arrived at their destination after hours of travel. The three felt jet-lagged as they entered the manor. The lights were on; there were portraits of many Hellsing family members, statues, plants, staircases that led to many hallways and rooms, chandeliers, and more.

"Ace, can you order some takeout? I will take Esmeralda to her room."

Ace merely nodded as he watched the young couple walk up stairs. "I guess I'll order some Indian and Chinese food.

Sosuke led the young woman to a room with a king-sized bed, two balcony windows, a couple of cabinets with a few picture frames, and a closet. "I hope this room is to your liking."

She merely nodded.

"Esmeralda, please talk to me. You haven't said anything during the plane travel. I'm sorry for your father."

She sat on the bed, looking out the window. "I wasn't there in my papa's last moments. I lied to him and said that everything was okay. I'm such a terrible daughter." Tears formed in her eyes.

Sosuke went to bed and held her in his arms; his warmth went throughout her body.

"You and your father cared and loved one another so much that you kept things to yourselves to avoid hurting one another or thinking of being a burden. Your father knew the truth and trusted me with your well-being and happiness. That's all he wanted for you, to be happy. Even on his dying day, your father knew that you loved him. Don't think otherwise." Sosuke felt her tears dripping on his shirt, which didn't bother him. He let her cry to let out her pain.

"I also feel terrible that all this is happening to you, Sosuke. All this because of me."

"Don't feel that way, Esmeralda. Things happen for a reason. I would be the same worthless playboy if I didn't meet you, not knowing his true purpose. Living in fear of the unknown."

The young woman slowly looked at Sosuke. "What are you talking about?"

"I'm trying to say that before I met you, I lost my purpose. All I did was work and sleep around. I had everything except a close emotional connection with a woman who could make me a better man, a moral man."  Sosuke cleared his throat. "I did see you as another conquest, but something in me changed when I saw how kind and intelligent you were. I saw you as my hope to change and have a purpose."

Esmeralda blushed. "I will also admit to you that when we first met, you were cocky, but your eyes told me otherwise. You hid who you truly were, but you felt it was probably a weakness." She gently touched Sosuke's face. "You, Sosuke, are truly one of a kind." Then, she motioned his face down to hers and kissed him.

Sosuke kissed her back; they kissed with love and passion. Esmeralda's hands were around Sosuke's neck and shoulders; her hands began to make some movements, making the kiss even more passionate. Sosuke also put his arms around Esmeralda's waist; his large hands gently pulled her closer to his body. He barely noticed his hands making small circular motions on her back. His heart soared; he had never felt such happiness and love. She brought out the joy he always wanted. Sosuke never wanted this feeling to go away; he wanted this feeling for the rest of his life; he wanted Esmeralda.

The two separated from their passionate kiss; they looked at one another lovingly.

"I love you," said Sosuke.

 "I love you too."

"Esmeralda, will you marry me?"
