The gust of air was felt throughout the area. Bradley slowly sat up from the ground, his eyes never leaving his older brother. His men and comrades arrived on time. The Hellsing family soldiers outnumbered Yhwach's. Also, many soldiers who worked for the Hellsing Family had former military training. Some used to work for the police or secret services; many still had connections. 

Also, some vehicles arrived with the Hellsing crest, and others were newscasts. "PUT YOUR HANDS UP, OR WE WILL SHOOT!" announced one of the soldiers.

Yhwach's men looked at one another and realized that they were trapped. Yhwach, however, was in shock and enraged. He couldn't believe that he was fooled. Fooled! He and his men were surrounded. The older man immediately grabbed Esmeralda and took a gun from behind his pants, making Esmeralda squeal. Yhwahc's henchmen did what they were told and put their weapons down, raising their hands. Two helicopters lowered, and some soldiers left with weapons still in hand. They were going toward each of the henchmen and handcuffing them. Bradley and his brothers were freed. They immediately ran to their wives, untying them from the trees.

The women were freed and cried as they held onto their husbands. They kissed one another. Ace went to hug his mother, and she did the same. Sosuke hugged his Aunt Amelia, his mother figure. Tsukishimia and Starrk were freed, but they were focused on Yhwach, who had his gun pointed at Esmeralda. "Let her go, now!" yelled Starrk.

Everyone then focused on Yhwach and Esmeralda. Bradley ordered some of his men to take the women back to the mansion. Amelia refused, but Bradley didn't have it. "I thought I lost you once and will not lose you again. Now go, Amelia!"

Amelia was surprised. The last time her husband raised his voice toward her was during his drunk episodes when coming back from the Gulf War. She worried for Esmeralda, but when looking at her husband, she noticed he was imploring her to listen. "O-Okay, we will go. Get Esmeralda back home and King. You better come home alive, or I will never forgive you!" To everyone's surprise and amusement, Amelia went to her husband and kissed him on the lips.

Bradley was surprised. They usually show affection privately, but he knew this was a life-and-death situation. He kissed his wife back. The brothers were stunned but said nothing. However, Issa couldn't keep his mouth shut. "Come on, Bradley, slip her the tongue." Bradley and Amelia separated from the kiss, and Amelia went with the other women to a helicopter. The women looked at their husbands, and they did the same. They were taken out of sight. "Gee Bradley, you could've..."

"SHUT UP, ISSA!" yelled the brothers. Now the focus was on Yhwach and Esmeralda. Sosuke walked forward but stopped midway to keep himself in the distance.

"Yhwach, let her go! You're surrounded, and everyone will know the truth of what you have done! It's pointless to keep on fighting!" yelled Sosuke.

Yhwach held Esmeralda by the neck, and the gun touched her head. "Me, give up? Never! If you don't let us leave, it won't matter! She and I will still leave this world together!"

Sosuke felt fear. Yhwach was willing to kill himself and Esmeralda. He was going to see his wife before him. He didn't want to do this, but there was no other option. "So you're willing to kill your unborn grandchild!?"

His uncles were shocked. They couldn't believe that Sosuke would speak out about Esmeralda's pregnancy. Yhwach's eyes widened. "U-Unborn grandchild? D-Does that mean...?" His eyes were on Esmeralda. "Y-You're pregnant with another man's child?"

Esmeralda trembled and bit her lower lip. "I-I'm pregnant with your grandchild, Yhwach. This child also has your blood!"

Sosuke took a deep breath. "The child could be a girl, Yhwach. If it is a girl, I want to name her after my sister, Masaki. I know that she was your pride and joy. You and I didn't have the best father and son relationship, but Masaki always tried her best to bring us together."

Yhwach began to tremble but still held the gun on Esmeralda.

Sosuke remembered his sister. She was the opposite of him and Yhwach. Masaki had a kind heart and spirit. She knew of her father's imperfections and life but never hated him. Masaki loved her father dearly. Since she was a child, Masaki made gifts for him for his birthday, Father's Day, and other holidays. Yhwach was surprised, but Sosuke knew that it warmed Yhwach's heart, which is why he took her with him and raised her. 

When Masaki fell in love with a man when she got older, Yhwach tried hard to keep them apart. Yhwach even tried to find a suitor that was closer to home. He didn't want his daughter to leave, but she ultimately left. Yhwach refused to speak to his daughter. In his eyes, Masaki betrayed and left him. "Father." Everyone was shocked that Sosuke called Yhwach father. "The day when the drunk driver killed Masaki. The reason she was out was because she wanted to see you. Masaki wanted to make peace with you. She visited me first, and I asked her why she would want to see you again. Do you want to know what she told me?"

Yhwach trembled as he was told about his daughter and Esmeralda's pregnancy. Sosuke walked closer. "She told me why was because she loves her father, no matter his faults. She wanted you to be a part of her family. For you to be close to your grandchildren. Masaki still loved and thought about you even in her final moments."

Yhwach's eyes widened. The image of his daughter came to him. He remembered when Sosuke and Masaki were born. He was angered that their mother kept them. He supported them financially but hired someone to give the mother the appropriate amount for the children. He would visit, and Masaki would always be happy to see him. Like Yuzu, Masaki would always draw him pictures and make him gifts.

At first, he thought it was childish, but Masaki would always ask him to read to her, play dolls, play tag, or hide and seek. Memories came back when Masaki, as a child, would sleep in his arms when he read to her or took her to the movies. She opened his heart for the first time. She made him feel like a father. He was loved and realized he was a better father than his own. When Masaki was killed, he felt guilt and hatred for himself.

Yet, in her final moments, she wanted to see him and still loved her father. Now, the woman he wanted was pregnant with his grandchild. Esmeralda could be a mother to a baby boy or girl. If it were a girl, then she would be named Masaki. If that were the case, if he killed Esmeralda and his unborn grandchild, it would be as if he was killing Masaki, his baby girl. He let Esmeralda go, shocking everyone.

Esmeralda stilled as she looked at Yhwach. He had tears dripping from his eyes. She felt all the pain he felt. Those tears signified all the suffering he endured since he was a child. Esmeralda never felt such pain and sadness before. Esmeralda went to Yhwach and hugged him. This action made Yhwach flinch. Her hug felt warm.

"I'm so sorry, Yhwach! I'm sorry that you went through so much pain! You never deserved this! I can't bring myself to hate you anymore!" She separated from the hug as she gently touched his face, looking at his teary eyes. "I forgive you, Yhwach. Please give yourself up, and I want you to be part of your grandchild's life." Suddenly, Esmeralda was taken back by Sosuke, who took her away from Yhwach.

Yhwach fell to the ground with the gun still in his hand. Esmeralda forgave him. Even after all he had done, she didn't hate him. The soldiers were telling him to put the gun down and were slowly going toward him. Yhwach looked at Esmeralda, who pleaded with him. She cared for him. 

Someone cared for him. "I'm not like him in the end." Yhwach slowly raised his gun, and...a gunshot was fired.

"NOO!"
