Jimin purses his lips as he concentrates on the dance moves, following Hoseok's instructions to let the movements come naturally. He tries to keep himself focused rather than let his thoughts drift to Taehyung, his eyes instinctively flicking to Jungkook as the younger practices hard, tilting his head in annoyance when he messes up.

It's about an hour later when they finally decide to call it a day, Hoseok giving both of them proud smiles. Jungkook is the face of the group, but he'll be the first to tell you it's all Hoseok's work being poured into it. The elder's passion for dancing is no joke, and Jungkook has already proved many times his admiration for the boy just by how he tries to follow every move exactly.

Hoseok is getting his speaker when Jimin jogs over to Jungkook.

Jungkook notices him and smiles. "Hey. Your piece is going to be incredible. I'm actually pretty lucky you showed up a couple weeks ago," he says with a laugh.

Jimin grins, returning the compliment. "Yeah right. If I could dance half as sharp as you, I'd already have a contract," he jokes. "Anyways... do you have a minute?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"It's about my friend."

Jungkook keeps his expression neutral, but his shoulders hunch as if in anticipation just the slightest. "What about him? Did he cancel for Friday?"

"Oh, no, no. I just, um." He huffs; he didn't think this through. He was just thinking about jumping to his best friend's defense. "This is going to be really blunt and borderline weird, okay?"

Jungkook furrows his brows, frowning. "Um... okay?"

"Would you, like, go on a date with him? Or not even a date, but just hang out for a couple hours. Even if it's just to a movie."

"Wow, that is blunt and borderline weird."

Jimin cringes. "Sorry?"

"Well," Jungkook murmurs. "I did want to meet him today. I only know his face, though. Can't really decide how a few hours would go..."

"I know, it's a crazy favor to ask, but--" He scrunches his nose. Taehyung would kill him if he heard any of this. "He's had a rough transition into college. It's his second year, and he's just had a hard time getting out of his comfort zone."

"Is that why he sticks to stalking?" Jungkook asks with a smirk, partially teasing but there's a hint of seriousness in his eyes.

"Yeah, unfortunately," Jimin retorts with a chuckle. "He means well. He just..."

"I get it."

"So... is it too much to ask? I'll even buy the movie tickets, or wherever you want to go."

Jungkook gives him a look like he's a madman--he probably is. "Um, are you sure he'd be okay with it? I mean, if he couldn't even show up today..."

"No, it'll be fine!" Mostly because Taehyung won't know what's actually happening until it's too late.

Jungkook rubs the back of his neck. "I-I guess a couple hours won't hurt..."

Jimin's eyes bulge. "Wait, really?"

"Well--"

"You already said yes, sorry, no take backs," Jimin says excitedly. "Listen, I know it's weird. And if it goes terribly, you can delete me from your life, okay? But I think it'll be good for both of you."

Jungkook raises his eyebrows. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Uh, nothing. So just text me the movie you want to see Saturday and I'll buy the tickets."

"Wait, this Saturday?"

"Yeah. Oh, lookie there. I gotta go." Jimin quickly slings his duffel bag onto his shoulder and turns to leave, catching Hoseok staring at him curiously.

He's still grinning victoriously when he hears Jungkook shout, "You owe me, Park Jimin!"
