[07/19/23] So, I asked this on my conversations board, I have a story idea, and I've already written a scene. It's definitely a scene that happens in the middle of the story, but it's a scene that inspired me to write the story. 

Please read the sample chapter and tell me what you think.

The sample is very rough, I have not edited it much. 

It's got a lot of "blank canvas" or "empty space". Fancy terms for no description. It's all mostly character dialogue.

Some characters might be referred to as "[name]". 

But I need to share this with somebody!

Note for later: Things to take into account when the story is completed: it's supposed to be a quick read. It's not going to be a 'chapter' book.
