Groggy

/ˈɡrɒɡi/

Noun

1. dazed, weak, or unsteady, especially from illness, intoxication, sleep, or a blow.

2. weak and unable to think clearly or walk correctly, usually because of tiredness or illness.

Pipp slowly woke up, she felt groggy. Her body felt weak, like a brick had hit her in the head. What the hell had happened?

She slowly opened her eyes, and sat up with all the strength she could muster. Her vision was blurry as she did, and Pipp wanted to faint again. She felt so fucking weak.

'What happened?'

Her mind was blank as she tried to think back to what caused this, but nothing came up. It was as if her memories were lost to her. Nothing would give her answers, and she was sure that she had them somehow.

She felt her senses coming back, and her vision became less blurry. She looked around to see herself in an alley.

It was a tip, like something had wrecked it. It didn't help her situation, and she wanted answers now.

Pipp weakly stood up, and cling to the red bricked wall in support. She coughed up a little blood, and noted that her head hurt.

'Why can't I remember anything?' She thought, rubbing blood off her lips. 'Why can't I find any memories?'

***
A green doll walked around the facility belonging to him and the others. A cold look in those eyes as he arrived into a place no one dared to enter.

Why does everyone fuck up?

Ox's thoughts kept him busy. The once kind, integral Mayer vanished when the shitty apocalypse started.

A new took his place. A new name.

Orion.

Ox died. He was born.

"Mandy." He said blankly, she just stared. "Get me duck tape, an axe, and some knives. The son of a bitch is gon' pay for what he did.

Mandy just nodded. She followed his command.

***

She was sure that the head injury had something to do with it. She had a feeling that it did. And they did say that 'gut instincts were never wrong'.

She briefly wondered who came up with that.

Her vision coming back, she was able to see that there was a street at the end of the alley. The floor was black here, and shit was everywhere.

But the silence was what bothered her, what was this place?

The buildings were wrecked, but they had a tint of colour to them. They were all wacky looking, and had odd shapes.

The streets were empty, and there was rubbish everywhere. They sky was grey, and the clouds were black. There was no sun nor moon, so Pipp didn't know if it was day or night.

'What year, time, and month is it?'

She didn't know. Her mind couldn't make up any of those things, was she suffering from some type of amnesia? It seemed like it.

She sighed. "What is going on?"

Her throat hurt from saying that, it felt dry, raspy. Like she hadn't used it in years. What was her age?

It was sad that she didn't even remember that. She wondered the streets, and then her stomach rumbled.

'So freaking hungry.'

It felt like she hadn't eaten in days, like she had been deprived of food or something. What was wrong with her?

Looking at the streets, she only realised that she was in clothes. At least she wasn't naked, that would have been even more embarrassing.

***
The embarrassment. Humiliation coursing thought his veins raced. A touch of adrenaline. Ox smirked when he entered a room.

Nolan stood with folded arms. "I see your here."

He licked the blood (tasty, tasty blood) off his lips. Red, crimson stains around his face. Ruining a once unique sense of being.

The darkness ruled inside everyone.

"You take care of it?" Ox asked politely. His head tilted slightly, showing a want of an answer. "'Cause I gave an order, and an order-""

"Is meant to be obeyed." Nolan chuckled, softly wacking the bat on his hand. He smirked. "Don't worry, I know my way around orders."

He jerked his head in a direction. Ox followed. A smirk appeared on his face as well. Another chuckled arose. A proud smirk Nolan could see.

"Good work." Ox said, a hint of pride swelling. "They are of no use anymore. Get Moxy to deal with remains of the body. She hates killing. But she needs to earn her keep."

Nolan nodded. "Got it, sir. Obeyed.

Orion rolled his eyes at the mock bow fondly. He walked away regardless of any teasing. Nolan saw his frown though. Guilt swelled inside.

Killing solved nothing.

***

She was wearing a gold dress that had sparkles, purple trainers with white streaks, and a green small body warmer. She also had a bow on her tail, it was pink.

But that wasn't what got her attention, she looked at her hands, she had fur.

She had fucking fur!

'WHAT. THE. HELL?'

Pipp looked in a puddle, and saw she had it all around her body. It was even on her face, that wasn't even the most shocking part.

She had mouse ears, a tail, and the round eyes to go with it. What the hell was she?!

'A mouse.' The thirst came to her. "Your some kind of a fucking doll hybrid mouse.'

She felt like she was going to be sick. Why was she like this?

Pipp only then realised that everything seemed so...big. Like, even the trash can was bigger than her in size.

She somehow knew that she was a doll, an instinctual thought. She knew what she was, her name, etc. But she couldn't remember the major things like her past, age, and things like that.

Pipp wondered continued to walk on the streets to see if there was my other dolls, but there wasn't. It was as if the place was just abandoned. It was sad.

She stood still for a second, and crouched down in confusion, what the actual heck was going on?

"Unghhh..." She heard a groan, it sounded like some doll was in pain. "Help.. ..me ...please..."

Pipp was shocked, and looked around the corner to see where the groan had come from.

She was absolutely stunned by the sight she was seeing.

A doll was struggling on the ground, they looked to be fighting something. Their skin was ashy, and their eyes were flashing from their normal colour to a black one.

The area that she was in was a yard with a wooden fence around them, and there was a house just behind her.

Pipp went up to the doll, and tapped their shoulder. "Are you okay?"

She felt fear as their eyes locked onto hers. "Please, kill me."

"..w...what?..." Pipp was shocked. "W-Why?"

"V...Virus Is taking...over.." They replied weakly. "I can't fight it, kill me. I'd rather die than become one of the infected."

"I-Infected?" Pipp asked. "What are they?"

***
Emotions. Moxy hasn't felt sympathy in a long time, at least those who deserved it didn't. The old, happy, pathetic doll who believed in everything died.

"Babo! Luckybat!"

She screamed as something into them, consumed them. A hatchet

A tear trickled down. An internal scream rose. But physically? She pushed on. Nothing to live for and nothing to continue, block her path.

Moxy doesn't bother fighting. "Let me go in, Michael."

He glared back. According to him, to ox, to Orion, nobody could dare enter such a place. Where others payed for crimes committed against them.

That is until Moxy showed him the body bag.

Michael softened. The pink eyes darkened, Moxy isn't in control anymore. Despite the cute name given, Pinks didn't like control taken away.

It's why he softened. Moxy didn't have control.

"Sure." Michael shrugged. Taking a puff of his cigarette, he breathed it in (so, so good). He opened the door quickly, quietly. "Go in. Be quick though."

Mandy's in there.

It doesn't have to be spoken for Moxy to know.

***

The doll didn't reply, but they shoved a weapon in her hands.

"Kill me." She ordered, and her green eyes locked into her brown ones. "Now."

She dragged her hand to her weapon, and Pipp's finger was on the trigger.

"I can't."

"Do it."

"I can't."

"Do it!"

"I fucking can't!"

Something slammed onto her hand, and she clung in the gun out of pain.

BAM!

The gun went off, and blood sprayed on Pipp. She just stood there frozen.

The eyes of her accidental victim landed on her. They just stared at her in blankness. Pipp stares back.

Then, she starts laughing. An insane laugh, one that indicated that she found this funny.

"Hahahahaha!" She laughed as she rolled on the floor, she didn't give a shit that she got dirty. "I did not mean to, I did not mean to!"

She repeated that as if it was a mantra. A sane mantra. As if her act wasn't sinister.

But then something grabbed her, and she screamed in fear. She jabbed her elbow into it, and she was thrown down to the ground.

Pipp turned around to see the same creature that she just killed, but a male version.

It had brown hair, black eyes, and it's black hair was falling out. It had a torn shirt, medium shorts, and shoes (she was surprised that they weren't torn as well).

She tried to fire the gun, but found it empty. She panicked as the creature came closer.

Her foot stepped onto an arrow on the floor, and Pipp had an idea. She used the bow on her tail to make it into an actual one.

'God, how do I do this?'

The...infected? Pipp was gonna call it that now. It came forward.

She stepped forward and put her arrow in her bow. She drew it back, and fired.

SQUELCH!

She heard the sound of flesh being pierced, and opened her eyes.

The infected looked at her in shock and...betrayal? Like Pipp was its friend or something. She was not.

The infected fell down with the arrow in its chest, and Pipp felt a strange satisfaction enter her mind.

It felt great to kill this thing.

Pipp looked around, and saw an tape in the ground.

She played it.

***
Anyone assuming Mandy to be kind was a fool. As they say, looks can kill. The term applied to the purple haired girl holding a sadistic smile.

"Please!" Mandy brought the axe down, another arm severed. This isn't an innocent, Mandy never killed an innocent. "STOP!"

Mandy only cooed. Her voice is rarely used. She never bothered. Why use words when actions expressed far better?

Heheheheheheheheheheheheheheh-

Mandy brung the hatchet done again. The limb severed, causing screams of anguish. Pain spreads all of as she hack again and again and again-

"Mandy." Mandy turned around, seeing a pink figure. An uglydoll (Moxy internally prays she's not walked in on a breakdown). "I need to collect something. And Ox needs to see you after. I know he knows you don't like interruptions-"

Mandy interrupted Moxy.

Giving a gentle kiss, Mandy cupped her face. Hoping to assure (give Moxy hope). Moxy only obeyed to silence the growing feelings buried deep inside.

"It's okay." Mandy rasped, voice used for the first what seemed like eternity. "It's okay."

It's the only thing Moxy heard anymore.

Mandy's face is scarred. Blood all over, Moxy didn't bother wiping the substance. It just came right back on. So she saw no point.

Why do I bother? Am I the only one sane?

She nodded. "Okay, Mandy."

Mandy seemed content with that. She gave Moxy what she wanted and turned back to her latest victim. The screaming beginning again.

Moxy walked to avoid stopping a killing.

Ox caught her in the hallway.

"I'm sorry." He tried to say. But what comes out is. "I don't feel guilty. You shouldn't either. None of this is your fault."

"Well, why do I feel the opposite?"

Ox didn't answer that question. He watched Moxy leave him-

Just like you left Lou.

-The voice doesn't receive a reply.

"Mandy?" He questioned, he doesn't flinch anymore when she gave that poor, insane smile. "Are you done? If not, may I have a word with our guest?"

Mandy whined like an animal. That caused Ox to flinch, he questioned how buried Mandy's humanity had become. But he still indulged this behaviour.

He can't stop it anyway.

Ox bent down to their guest. A small smile appeared.

"I just can't to say goodbye." He patted the cheek carefully, avoiding staining his hands. "You aren't of any use to me anymore. You have expired. Hope you have a good time in hell, my dear FRIEND."

Mandy took that signal. Ox stood, backed away, then started watching the work done on their victim.

Screams of anguish begin on a loop until death.

****

"Day 368." It stared in a female voice. "Just over one year since the events happened, since it happened. Infected have invaded both places and there's nearly no places to hide. We are doomed. It had been smashed, and there is no doll to help us. The leaders have retreated and no one is going to save us but ourselves. If anyone gets this, then you are in the apocalypse, you need to survive. Or you will die."

The tape ended there, and Pipp stood frozen. She was in an apocalypse.

'Those creatures must have been the infected.'

She breathed in and out to calm herself down. It was clear that no doll else was going to help her.

Something gleamed in the floor, and she picked it up. It was a glass shaped like a moon, Pipp felt something important came with it.

She also saw a chain, and attached it to that. She put it around her neck, it was her necklace from now on.

She looked at her surroundings of the place, and clung her newfound weapons.

Looks like she was defending herself now.

Stir

/stəː/

Verb

1. rise or wake from sleep.

2. to rouse or awaken: to stir someone from sleep; to stir memories.

As she slept on the infirmary bed, Pipp suddenly stirred due to some noise coming outside. She opened her eyes weakly, and sat up.

Wha?.... She thought. What happened to me?

She gasped in pain, and grasped her chest as she breathed in deeply. Why did it hurt so much?

Pipp looked at her chest, and saw bandages on it. The wound seemed tended to, and properly fixed. It felt better, but still hurt like hell. She sighed.

Why can't I remember? She thought. I remember being at the market, something hitting me, then it's a blank from there.

Pipp truly couldn't remember anything from the day before. She weakly got off the bed, and clung to the side so that she could stand properly.

She coughed and even wheezed a little from the pain that kept entering her body. She sucked in a breath of pain, and her vision went blurry for a second.

She closed her eyes to cease it, but then a sound by her ears made her open them. It was breathing.

Pipp looked around, and saw two lumps on makeshift beds. She limped over while clutching her chest in pain. She barely resisted the urge to scream.

She approached them, and was surprised to see that it was Ivy and Louis in the beds asleep. They had stayed here all night?

They stayed. She smiled. They really do care. I'm really glad that Louis forgave me.

Pipp felt happiness enter her, and she embraced the feelings for once. But then she frowned.

What was with that dream?

She remembered it really well, it was when she had first arrived in Uglyville. Darkness was the first thing she remembered.

It had been her first memory as she was trapped inside herself until her body woke up a few seconds later. It had been a scary experience.

But she had earned her title so fast that even she didn't see it coming.

Pipp sighed, and sat down. "Guys? Wake up."

She shook their shoulders, but found that they're eyes wouldn't open.

She panicked.

"Guys?" She tried again. "Guys!"

Were they dead?

She put a hand to Louis' chest, and felt relief that his heart was still beating. She did it to Ivy as well, it was the same result.

A smell hit her nose, and Pipp found herself looking at a glass of water that was next to her. She took it into her hands and sniffed it.

"Sleeping pills." She concluded in an angry tone, she was pissed off. "Someone fucking drugged them."

Pipp felt the emotion enter her, and it replaced the brief happiness that managed to make its way in.

She growled. "Who the fuck did this to them? Who did this to me?"

But it pierced her chest, and she screamed in pain. Louis crawled over to her, and held her in his arms.

"Why, Mouse?"

She chuckled weakly. "I said that I was going to make it up to you, and I have. We're kind of even now."

Unknown stood up, and rocked her in his arms.

Her mind provided her with the memory. She remembered now.

That fucking Odd-eye guy had his knife pierce her chest to bring them here. Pipp must have have a fever if she didn't remember all of it.

Fuck him. She thought. We are leaving soon.

She felt her fur stand up, and her ears flatten. Pipp went to grab her weapons, but found that they were gone.

She felt even more angry, they had taken her fucking weapons. She looked at the others as well, theirs had been taken as well.

"Meow." She jumped as Astral came from under the covers to meet her eyes. "Hhhhhh!"

He hissed at her like usual, and she just smiled. "Hey, little guy. I don't know what to do."

He just stared at her, and came up to lay down by her legs.

"Mrow." He bobbed his head by the door, and his head faced there. "Prmmm..."

Pipp faces it as well, she realised that it was her way out. She smiled again. "Thanks, Astral."

He only stared at her in return. Pipp looked around, and spotted a chair just beside the bed.

Bingo.

She dragged it with all the strength she had, and eventually managed to get it near the door.

Astral just stared at her as she climbed up the chair. This was too easy.

Pipp reached the door handle, and tried to pull the door open.

Fuck, it's locked. She thought, and looked around the room to see nothing useful. Dammit, what am I supposed to do?

She realised that her hand had unconsciously grabbed her necklace in thoughts, and something sharp pierced her foot.

Ow.

It was the knife that was in her shoe-

Wait, the knife!

She smiled and picked it up out of the slot that it was in. "Yes, bitch."

She inserted it in the lock, and wiggled it around for a few minutes. She bit her lip while doing it, she hadn't picked a lock in a long time.

Please work. She thought. Please, please work.

Click.

It had worked. She called her hands together as the door opened. "Yes!"

She was more happier than she was when she killed an infected!

Pipp pushed the chair back so that she had room to go out the door. She nervously took a step outside, this was new territory for her. She didn't know how this building was.

Got to give it credit, though. She thought. It's clean.

She made her way down a couple of corridors, it was weird being here without Ivy or Louis by her side. To bad that they were in a deep, drugged sleep.

She was going to make the asshole pay for doing this to them.

Finally, Pipp found two doors in the corridor. She could hear talking in one.

"Yes, but they are still asleep."

"They aren't going to be happy when they wake up."

I'm already pissed. The others are going to be so much more angrier, assholes.

"Their weapons are in the next room."

Her eyes widened, and she smirked.

Thanks for the information.

Pipp felt smug as she quietly tip-toed to the other door. She took a shaky breath, and used her tail to jump.

She reached the handle, and the door opened. Thank God that it wasn't loud. She would have been fucked if it did.

She went inside the room to find that it was full of shit.

There was a window at the top bit. The walls were green, and there were boxes everywhere.

She looked through stuff to find more weapons and clothes, but she didn't have time to look for more.

She went to the bottom of the room, and spotted them all.

Yes!

She picked the the katanas with her tail, put the knives into her pockets, put her bow over herself, and put the knives in her belt packet.

It was time to go.

As she walked past the first door (the stuff was heavy to carry), she heard someone say something.

"Let's go check on them, guys."

Her her widened.

Oh, shit!

She ran now, and she was aware that weapons were making noise.

Pipp didn't realise that her tail had been spotted.

"Guys!" She heard a female shout. "The mouse is awake and has the weapons!"

Oh, for fuck's sake!

"Um, Houston?" She heard someone shout (Mandy). "I think we have a problem!"

Who the heck is Houston?

Pipp didn't have time to think about that.

"Oh, shit!" Moxy shouted.

"Go after her!" Nolan ordered.

"Guys, what is going on?" Ox asked.

Pipp looked behind her to see the three dolls she heard there. Well, this was a pickle.

Her chest wound hurt so much, but her body was on autopilot as she ran. It didn't stop even as her mind begged her to.

She reached the door that she was at first familiar with, and ran inside.

Pipp pushed the chair against it, and hurried to the others. Her chest was barley letting her breathe.

"Guys, wake up!"

They groaned, and turned.

But something happened, Louis opened his eyes. Or someone else.

BANG!

A shot rang out immediate, Pipp halted in her stance. So did the others, having been shocked by this new turn of events.

Louis stood proud, tense. But another way they could tell he wasn't himself?

The red eyes.

"Hi, motherfuckers." Unknown chuckled cooly. "I see you decided to hurt my host. Tsk. Oh, what a shame."

He crouched to Pipp, stroking her ears. His hand pet the edges to the tips. He flicked her nose in a sort of affectionate action. She blushed.

Pipp was confused. So was everyone else.

Who was this doll?

"Names Unknown." He rolled his eyes. "Predictable, drugging Louis, Poison?" He gaze towards Ivy, then at Pipp. "That was her name, yes?"

Pipp nodded slowly. He smiled.

"Good girl." He stood around them. "Now. Tell me who you shits before I shoot you like I did to that prostitute before she got eaten by an infected."

Moxy looked sick.

'Please.'

Unknown rolled his eyes.

Not now. Shits here need to pay.

'Is that there name now?'

He shrugged.

Maybe. Depends who they are.

'Do you not recognise them?'

Unknown didn't hear the commotion arriving in the background. His temporary distraction caught him off guard. That was the downfall.

Pipp's tiny hands grabbed his shoulders, and he felt pride. Ivy did as well, she had managed to get the weapons and make it back even when she was injured.

Her breaths caressed his neck, and he kept getting shivers. His hand grabbed Ivy's as he felt her nervousness about being here, she had anxiety.

"We should kill them and just be on our way."

Ivy's sentence was a hiss, and Louis intervened. "Maybe question them, and then kill them?"

Pipp put in. "Try to negotiate without blood?"

The door opened, and they saw the dolls that they hated the most at the moment come in.

Pinks, Odd-eye, specks, and another doll came in with guilty faces.

Ivy glared at them, and hissed. "Well? Want to explain why you fucking drugged us?! Why you kept us here against our will?!"

The unknown (not Louis) doll spoke. "I apologize for the others, they weren't supposed to do this? Weren't you?!"

He was a green bunny uglydoll with a green eye and had an X for the other one. He wore a dark green jacket along with it.

Louis was confused. Who was this?

Ox. The voice repeated. Asshole who abandoned us.

But the other voice wound him up more.

'Ox?' It asked. 'OxOxOxOxOxOxOxOxOxOxOx OOxOxOxOxOxOxOxOxoxOxxOx'

He felt the force again pushing him out of existence, why was the voice doing this to him?! It was like a fight for control.

Him against the shattered LOU.

'Ooxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox.'

He didn't say the damage wasn't done. Lou wasn't sane. No one was. I know felt himself sinking deeper into the abyss that was known as his prison.

"Ox." Lou said happily, childish. He bounced like an excited toddler. "Ox?"

Orion stared this doll. Unknown switched personality so fast he couldn't keep up.

"Oxy?!" Lou wailed, clutching his head. His mind wasn't sane. Years of torment broke him. "Nolan hit me! Mandy mean! MOXY NO CHANCE!"

Ivy wondered where the hell Louis went.

What is up with him?

This...thing. Lou? She guessed. Lou started dancing, bouncing like a toddler. What the actual fuck was wrong with him?

I'm taking Pipp.

Ivy did. She slowly backed away, keeping an careful eye on the seemingly childish doll before her. He smiled, actually smiled.

***
(In their mind.)

Unknown was asleep in the void, but he heard everything. Like a surreal dream, but no movement.

Wake up.

Something judged him, judged him. Unknown wanted to stay in this peaceful like state, not aware, but aware. The voice persisted.

WAKE UP.

WAKE UP!

"WHAT THE FUCK?!"

Unknown drew his pistol to aim at the enemy. He rolled his eyes when he saw the being. The one who he hated with a passion.

"Louis." He glared, the other did back. "I see you let the child take control. The ONE DAMAGED?!"

"It's not my fault." Louis mumbled, feet shuffling. He questioned acting shyness. "I was knocked unconscious."

Unknown snorted.

"Hey!" Louis jabbed a finger, but backed off when a certain gun aimed his chest. He raised his hands in defence. "You were taken off!-"

"I WASN'T EVEN SUPPOSED TO STAY IN CONTROL!"

Louis wisely stayed silent. The other needed to get this off his chest. Tears stripped down Unknown's face. This wasn't surprising.

"I'm meant to handle the rawness. Split. I am three of one. I protect, you act. The child." Unknown corrected himself. "LOU is damaged beyond repair. He can't be in this society."

Louis' eyes shifted. God damn those expressions on Unknown's face haunted him. His arms folded, expressing a sign of discomfort.

"Now." Louis whispered. He waited a few second, no one spoke. The tension thickened. "Who's going out?"

"Myself." Unknown certified. He shut down Louis' protest. "You've done enough damage. Come on, child."

Louis turned his back to them both, not even watching as Unknown coaxed the child inside-

"Lou."

Why did he read his thoughts?

"I can."

"Oxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo."

Lou rocked back and forth like someone during a panic attack. Louis couldn't bring himself to look upon the doll, knowing the results anyway.

"Shhh." Unknown hummed, nuzzling Lou's forehead. "Child, stay here. Ox is bad."

"Bad Ox."

And for the first time, Louis and Lou made eye contact. Louis swallowed thickly.

What am I meant to say?

"You took my life~" Lou sing-songed, rocking back and forth, giggling the entire time. "Moxy no chance, Mandy mean. Nolan hit. Michael bully."

Louis said nothing. He knew this true.

But to be a good guy, you had to act good, right?

So, Louis wasn't a bad guy?

Just someone fucked up enough to be.

What the hell did Louis category as?

A villain.

He watched Lou rock back and fourth, crying.

Louis turned around. "I'm sorry."

***
(Reality.)

Unknown wiped his face.

"Dammit." He whispered. "Fucking hell!"

He punched the wall, unaware of the eyes tracking his every move. Feeling judged, all of them gave a score.

He found he didn't give a shite.

"Let me out." He begged, feeling angry. The emotions pounding his mind. Begging for release. "I don't want THIS ANYMORE!!"

Who is he talking to?

Ivy knew Unknown had been a freak, but this performance was just sad to watch.

Even more than infected going down easily.

Unknown did feel. But he felt real. Sadness, rage, anger, darkness consumed him. Constantly coursing though his veins, feeling his motivations towards hatred. He didn't want this.

Yet he did.

Laughing, he put his hands on his knees.

"Heheheheheeheheheheheheh."

But his eyes landed on the terrified Pipp and ivy, who seemed to even fear him. That was amusing.

'The great Poison. The little shit. I tolerate them for Louis. Bastard seems to care.'

'But the bunny's a different story.'

I hate you two.

"Oh, Oxy."

Unknown seethed, fun at the ready. He picked the bunny up and pinned him to the wall. The game seemed to begin.

Unknown intended to win.

"The rules are simple." He cooed. "Don't fuck with me, don't fuck with the others."

Not in the way he used to fuck Luckybat.

Unknown chuckled.

"Yeah, like Luckybat."

Ox blushed at the look given.

"Yeah. It's true. But he died at my hands."

Louis took control a second.

H-he what?

He felt somewhat sympathetic. Unknown growled, stealing the spotlight once again. Louis became trapped with the child.

Lou.

Yes, he did care for his opposite. God knows how long they'd been trapped together. But Louis?

He can die for taking our lives.

Their relationship at the best seemed...strained.

More like you want to torture and murder me.

'Body snatcher.'

Unknown flinched yet again. But the hatred wouldn't let go. The past was the future.

And the future seemed dark.

Office

/ˈɒfɪs/

Noun

1. a room, set of rooms, or building used as a place for commercial, professional, or bureaucratic work.

2. a position of authority or service, typically one of a public nature.

Somewhere Louis had been roped unwillingly into going to the office of the great Orion. He felt humiliated go there core.

Ox took Louis and Ivy and Pipp to his office where he was going to explain why he brought them here. They were not looking forward to that in the slightest.

As they entered, they saw that it had a white wall, brown wooden floors, and brown desk where Ox's chair was behind. There were green couches along with orange chairs, and a large window which had light white curtains attached.

Ivy stood hear the window for s cigarette while Lou and Pipp sat down on a sofa.

"You know." Ox's voice told Ivy. "Smoking isn't good for you."

"I don't give a crap, your not my mum, dad, or girlfriend."

Her eyes widened at that last bit, and she met the eyes of the sympathetic Ox. Ivy actually looked afraid for a second.

Ox raised his hand, but she took a step back and put a hand to protect herself.

"No, I'm sorry!" She begged. "I'm straight, I promise.."

Her arms were put up, and her eyes were closed. She was trembking in fear.

Even Nolan felt a pang at seeing that.

"Lunatic." His voice was calm, and she looked at Unknown. "Your safe, they aren't here."

Her arms went down, and Mixy was surprised to see a frightened, innocent doll in the crazy one's place. Her eyes were now red. "T-They aren't?.."

She sounded frightened, like she was going to be attacked.

And Unknown rarely spoke, so this was a surprise. At least, it was to them.

Her eyes went to normal. "T-Thank you. Take control."

Her eyes went to black. "Sorry for that, I have bipolar disorder. It doesn't really help here."

She turned around and continued to smoke. Pipp saw what she was doing. "Lunatic isn't going to talk anymore, it means fuck off!"

She giggled to everyone's shock, and Louis just smirked as she sat on his lap. Ivy secretly smiled. That was her mousy.

"Why do you want us here?" Pipp asked as she tilted her head just a hit too far. "We are mad at you still."

Mandy sighed. "My real name is Mandy, and I do want to apologise for our actions, we weren't thinking straight."

Ivy just laughed cruelly. "Yeah, clearly."

As she looked out the window, she could just see the infected wondering miles away. They were outside the buildings around five or so mikes away.

"We really are." Ox stated. "My friends were just supposed to promise you a place to stay, I was not informed that one of you were injured."

He glared at Nolan at that, and the other sighed. "I am sorry, I went too far with the force. I was having a bad day."

It was tense at that, and Michael saw the trio make eye contact, they seemed to be speaking to each other.

But it was Pipp who spoke first. "...FUCK OFF! YOU PUT A KNIFE IN MY CHEST! YOU EXPECT ME TO FORGIVE YOU?!.."

She leapt of Louis, and landed on Nolan. He landed the floor while Pipp straddled him.

Mandy screamed in fight and Moxy tried to get her off her. She got a knife in the arm for that. "Fuck off!"

Ivy just continued to smoke.

I wonder if he will be dead. She thought. He might.

He struggled as Pipp traced her knife on his chest. "A knife in the chest, that always is the best. I love stabbing doollllllsssss, it fill me up like a good rest~"

Louis laughed as she did this, but he didn't talk. He was intrigued. "Where'd you come up with that?"

"It's a song that I've been singing since I've been here."

"Nice song."

"Thanks, Lunatic."

"Welcome."

Pipp hummed as her victim was frozen. "I don't like you, ya scare me. I don't like being scared."

She was suddenly picked up, and brought over to the couch by Louis. "C'mon, you can kill something later."

She made a pouty face. "...Your mean."

"You like me."

"....Fuck you."

"He'd like to do that." Ivy smirked, and came from the window to sit in the arm of the couch. She laid her arms on Unknown's head. She layed there. "I think that Mousy is mad, your lucky that were keeping her restrained. She's kind of in a bad mood~"

Pipp's ears flattened as if to prove her point. "Get on with it."

She huffed as Louis kept a hold of her. This was not fair, she only wanted to play.

"No."

She heard Ivy chuckle at that.

"Basically, I need you to do something for me." Ox replied. "Have you heard of someone name Khan?"

The trio froze, and Mandy noticed that. "What's wrong?"

"K-Khan?" Pipp whispered. "H-Holy shit, what do you fucking want with them?!"

"We need you to go after them." Michael replied. "They stole our supplies, and we want them to pay."

"But the problem." Moxy grumbled, rubbing her head in frustration. "Is that they go from location to location, we can't ever track them."

"That's why I haven't seen them in a long time." Ivy whispered. "They've been on the run."

One of her best friends was about to be found by her.

But I can't tell the others that.

"We want you to do it." Mandy explained softly. "We know that you have the resources."

They unconsciously clutched their necklaces.

"Where's that kitten that's usually with you?" Nolan asked.

"Oh, Astral likes to do his own thing." Ivy replied. "He usually returns during the day or night. I don't know where he goes."

She really didn't.

"So?" Ox flexed his hands and leaned his face on them. "You up for the task or not?"

"What do we get out of it?" Louis asked.

"A place to stay for the night, food and drinks, more supplies, money to survive, we do pay, etc." He shrugged. "I don't how to say it now clearly than that."

Their eyes were wide as they looked at each other.

Should we?

I dunno, Iv.

We should! Imagine if all we can recover, then we can leave in a day or two! We'll steal supplies!

Pipp was right as she smiled oh so innocently. They knew she proper intentions, they smiled back.

But then Ivy spotted something. It was a picture on Ox's desk, it was blonde with blue eyes.

Looks similar to Louis, but he had red eyes.

"Who is this?"

Ox and the others seemed to freeze, and Nolan was the one to speak. "That's an...old friend of ours."

"He died." The green rabbit spoke in a grave tone. "We were like brothers, but an event moment and we went our separate ways. My regret is that we didn't get to reconcile earlier."

Louis suddenly got a feeling, and he clenched his stomach. It hurt for some reason.

Pipp saw the inside of his hood. "GET HIM A BIN!"

Ivy's eyes widened, and ran so fast that they didn't even see her come back with a large ass trash can.

He was sick in it, you could hear him vomiting. "God."

"Are you alright?" Pipp asked nervously. "Why is it happening again?"

Again? Ox thought. This has happened before.

For a second, he thought that he saw a piece of blonde hair come out of that hood. He blinked, then it was gone.

Hallucination.

Unknown's head hung there, and he heaved. He didn't feel good. What was wrong with him?

"Lou!" A voice shouted. "Lou!"

He rushed around to see the other struggling in training. It was kind of amusing. "Yes?"

"...I hate this."

He just laughed as the other pouted at him, he wasn't so bored with him around.

He grabbed his face, and put their lips together. He always loved his brother.

Well, he was kind of more than a brother. His was his boyfriend.

Someone who he held compassion for. At least, until he abandoned him.

His compassion for anyone had dissipated after.....

After what?

Had hd somwhow known this rabbit? No, that coukdn't be true. But if it was, it had to be in a bad way. He felt fear around him, like he attacked him or something in the past.

"We'll take the job." He fekt Ivy squeeze his shoukder possessively. "We'll take out Khan."

Louis onky then noticed Ox eyeing him, but why? His eyes held a bit of recognition.

"Y-yes." He stuttered, why did he feel afraid? "We'll take her out."

He onky wanted to get away from the rabbit. He fekt the tears coming back, a feeling of familiar loneliness filled him, his heart was suddenly feeling hollow.

"Her last location was at the mall in the east, I'd start there." Ox suddenly frowned. "And if you try to cheat the deal, I will be sending hell hound after you."

CRASH!

Ivy landed on the floor out of shock. "Are you actually kidding me?!"

He was one of the most ruthless fucking survivors! He did not spare you!

"Shit." Pipp muttered. "That is just low. Fuck you!"

Louis stood up, and Pipp went into his hood. They shivered, something about that was just creepy.

"I hated Hell Hound." His eyes held fear. "Now, I just fucking despise him. He has done damage to me. Trust me, he is only using you."

He walked out with Ivy at his side, her face held a grimace. He knew why.

At that moment, they were regretting taking this deal. But it was the best thing they had at the moment.

They had to stick to it. At least, they did for now.

You never knew if someone would cheat or not.
