This world is full of surprises.
Vast oceans
And forests.
Some so wide and so deep,
None of it has ever yet been explored.
The nature cycle of birth
And the grieving process of death.
The flowers on a warm spring day, opening up to say hello.
The sun I like to think
Is God smiling down on me.
The soft fur of animals,
Their yearn for love as I pet them.
I've seen darkness in this world;
A Speck of hell in its finest.
Long nights of insanity.
Monsters waiting in the shadows for my soul.
Consuming my mind,
A season of blindness in this crazy world and I'm left free falling.
But for the first time in a long time
I'm finally seeing specks of heaven in this mysterious place called
Earth.
The beauty we humans somehow miss,
Write off as dull
But looking at the smiles,
The nature hand crafted by God,
I've seen miracles this week.
God shining down,
And the craziest thing of all?
This beauty is just a speck of what is to come.
just a tiny taste of what eternity holds for those who follow Christ.
A taste of paradise.
A peek.
Just imagine what the full picture will look like.
I can't.
My brain is not capable of imagining the view God sees.
The beauty that will come.
How much more breath taking it all will be.
For now the beauty he showers steals my breath already...
And it is just a speck.
