The following days were a blur for Jimin.

He tried to focus on work, but the weight of recent events was ever-present.

The pain from the confrontation with Jungkook and the frustration with his own emotions weighed heavily on him.

Adding to this turmoil, a sense of dread began to creep into his daily routine.

One night, after a particularly grueling shift at the club, Jimin arrived home later than usual.

The apartment was dark and quiet, save for the soft hum of the refrigerator.

He tried to shake off the uneasy feeling that had settled over him, attributing it to exhaustion.

As he fumbled with his keys, the sense of unease only grew stronger.

He couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched.

Jimin quickly dismissed the thought as paranoia, but the sensation clung to him like a cold sweat.

He glanced around the dimly lit hallway, half-expecting to see someone lurking in the shadows.

Inside his apartment, Jimin locked the door behind him and went about his usual routine, trying to push away the creeping anxiety.

He made a quick meal, his hands trembling slightly as he cooked.

The persistent feeling of being watched wouldn't leave him alone.

It was as if eyes were boring into the back of his head, watching his every move.

As he sat down to eat, Jimin's phone buzzed on the kitchen counter.

He glanced at it, his heart skipping a beat.

It was a message from an unknown number.

The message read: "I see you're still as beautiful as ever. Miss me?"

Jimin's blood ran cold.

The message was unsettling, not just because of its content but because it suggested someone knew him personally.

His face drained of color, his hands growing clammy.

He quickly dismissed the message, but the fear gnawed at him.

The next few nights were filled with similar messages and increasingly disturbing encounters.

Sometimes, he'd find strange notes slipped under his door, or he'd catch glimpses of someone's shadow as he walked home.

The fear was palpable; it felt like someone was closing in on him, tightening a noose around his neck.

One evening, as Jimin was heading home from the restaurant, he noticed a figure following him from a distance.

The figure kept to the shadows, but Jimin could make out the faint outline of a person.

His heartbeat quickened.

He quickened his pace, his anxiety spiking with every step.

As he approached his building, Jimin glanced back and saw the figure step into the light.

The stranger's face was obscured, but Jimin could feel their gaze.

Panic surged through him.

He sprinted up the stairs, his footsteps echoing in the empty stairwell.

When he reached his apartment, he threw open the door and slammed it shut behind him.

He locked it with shaking hands and pressed his back against it, trying to steady his breath.

He couldn't shake the feeling of being trapped, his fears amplified by the eerie silence of his apartment.

Jimin sank to the floor, his back still pressed against the door.

The weight of fear and confusion overwhelmed him.

He had never felt so vulnerable, so exposed.

He tried to calm his racing heart, but the fear of being stalked and the constant feeling of someone watching him made it impossible to relax.

He took out his phone and dialed the police, but as he spoke to the operator, he couldn't stop glancing nervously at the door, half-expecting it to be breached at any moment.

The chilling realization that someone was out there, targeting him, made him feel utterly powerless.

As he ended the call, he knew he had to take steps to protect himself.

Jimin was left with a sense of dread that wouldn't fade, the fear of being stalked hanging over him like a dark cloud.

When Bumseok entered the apartment, he found Jimin standing in the middle of the room, visibly shaken and on the brink of collapse.

As soon as he saw Bumseok, Jimin rushed into his arms, his body trembling violently and his breath coming in short, shaky gasps.

Tears streamed down his face, his distress palpable.

Bumseok, initially taken aback by Jimin's sudden and emotional outburst, looked at him with a mixture of irritation and confusion.

"Come on, Jimin, I don't have time for this. People are coming over today. Talk to me," he demanded, his tone sharp and impatient.

His voice had a clipped edge, as if he were struggling to balance his own internal turmoil with the situation at hand.

Jimin, unable to articulate his fears, could only bite his lip and sob silently.

The mounting frustration in Bumseok's eyes became apparent.

"Are you a fucking bitch? I said talk!" he snapped, his voice rising in frustration.

His anger seemed disproportionate, a hint of something deeper behind his outburst.

Seeing Jimin flinch at his harsh words, Bumseok's expression softened momentarily.

He rubbed his forehead as if battling an internal conflict, his face contorting in a mix of confusion and self-reprimand.

"Stop it. What the fuck do you think you're doing?" he muttered, his voice filled with a strange mixture of frustration and self-directed scolding.

His erratic mood swings hinted at an underlying issue.

Jimin recoiled further as Bumseok attempted to get closer.

The physical retreat only seemed to fuel Bumseok's anger.

"Jimin, I'm sorry. I'm just a little bit drunk," Bumseok said, his voice now tinged with a forced calmness, almost as if trying to convince himself more than Jimin.

Jimin, still wiping his tears, let out a shaky sigh.

"It's nothing. I was just worried," he lied, knowing that explaining further would lead nowhere.

Bumseok's dismissive and erratic reactions had made it clear that Jimin's feelings were secondary to Bumseok's immediate concerns.

"I'll go out now and come back to make food for you and your friends," Jimin said, putting on his coat with a resigned air.

As he walked towards the door, the weight of Bumseok's unstable behavior hung heavily in the air.

The night was cold and biting as Jimin stepped outside, the chill mirroring the chill in his heart.

The encounter left him feeling more isolated and vulnerable.

He couldn't shake the feeling that something was deeply wrong, not just with his situation, but with the person he was trying to rely on.

As Jimin stepped out of his apartment, the cold night air hit him, mixing with the lingering dread that had become a constant companion.

The rain had started to pour heavily, soaking through his coat and adding to his sense of unease.

He could barely see through the downpour, his vision blurred by the relentless sheets of rain.

The sound of his footsteps was drowned out by the storm, making him feel isolated and vulnerable.

His thoughts swirled in a haze of anxiety and fear, questioning whether he was being paranoid or if someone was genuinely stalking him.

The constant fear of being followed had become a weight on his shoulders, one he couldn't easily shake off.

As he hurried along the deserted street, he noticed a shadowy figure trailing him at a distance, but it was difficult to make out any details through the rain.

The figure seemed to be closing in, and Jimin's pace quickened.

He glanced over his shoulder, his heart pounding as he tried to make out the uv.

The fear was suffocating, making it hard for him to breathe.

He ducked into a nearby alley, hoping to lose the follower in the maze of narrow paths.

The rain continued to pour, drenching him completely.

He crouched behind a dumpster, his breathing ragged and uneven.

The pounding of the rain was accompanied by the distant thud of footsteps.

Jimin's fear escalated, each step of the follower amplifying the terror he felt.

Just as he was about to lose hope, a car's headlights cut through the darkness, illuminating the alley.

The figure paused, then turned to flee, disappearing into the night. Jimin's relief was short-lived as he saw the car approaching.

He was drenched, shivering uncontrollably, and his fear reached its peak.

The car door swung open, and Jungkook's concerned face appeared, his eyes widening as he took in the sight of Jimin.

"Jimin?" he called out, rushing towards him. "What the hell happened?"

Jimin could barely muster the strength to respond.

His teeth chattered, and he was trembling from both fear and the cold.

"I... I" he stammered, his voice barely audible over the rain.

"I didn't know what to do. Someone's after me "

Jungkook quickly wrapped a blanket around Jimin, his expression shifting from shock to determination.

"Get in the car. We'll sort this out."

Jimin didn't resist.

He climbed into the passenger seat, the warmth of the car contrasting sharply with the cold rain.

He sat there in silence, shivering uncontrollably.

Jungkook started the engine and drove away from the alley, his focus entirely on Jimin.

As they drove, Jungkook glanced over at Jimin, who was sitting in the passenger seat, his body still trembling.

The silence was thick with unspoken words.

Jungkook knew Jimin was too scared to talk, too shaken by the experience to articulate what had just happened.

"Jimin," Jungkook said softly, his tone more soothing than before.

"You're safe now. I won't let anything happen to you."

Jimin looked at Jungkook, his eyes filled with a mix of gratitude and fear.

He wanted to speak, to thank Jungkook for his help, but the fear was too overwhelming.

He felt completely drained, both emotionally and physically.

Jungkook drove in silence, periodically glancing over to make sure Jimin was okay.

He knew that Jimin needed time to process the traumatic experience, and he didn't want to push him.

The rain continued to batter the car, the rhythmic sound adding to the tension in the vehicle.

Finally, Jungkook pulled up to Jimin's apartment building.

He parked the car and turned to Jimin, who was still wrapped in the blanket, his face pale and tired.

"We're here," Jungkook said gently. "Do you want me to come in with you?"

Jimin shook his head weakly, his voice barely a whisper. "No, thank you. I just want to be alone for a bit."

Jungkook nodded, understanding. "Alright. If you need anything, just call me. I mean it."

Jimin nodded, his eyes reflecting a mixture of relief and lingering fear.

He stepped out of the car, the rain having slowed to a light drizzle.

As he made his way into the building, Jungkook watched him with concern, hoping that Jimin would find some peace and safety in the comfort of his home.

As the door closed behind Jimin, Jungkook sat in the car for a moment longer, his mind racing with thoughts of what had just transpired.

He knew that this wasn't over, and that Jimin's safety was a priority.

He had to find out who was behind the stalking and make sure that Jimin was protected, no matter what it took.

Jimin sniffed but brushed everything aside as he got back into the house.

He headed straight to the shower, trying to wash away the day's stress and his lingering fear.

The hot water poured over him, but it couldn't cleanse the unease gnawing at his mind.

After his shower, he switched off his phone and headed to the kitchen to start cooking.

While chopping vegetables, he accidentally cut his fingers.

He placed them between his lips, sucking gently to ease the pain, just as the door opened.

Bumseok entered, unusually cheerful.

Jimin wasn't used to seeing him in such a good mood and felt a strange mixture of relief and suspicion.

Bumseok's friends followed, their loud chatter filling the space as they boasted about the girls they met at the club.

One of them caught Jimin's attention immediately.

"Hey, Kyungmin," Jimin greeted, recognizing his old high school friend who had gone on to study law.

Kyungmin smiled politely and handed Jimin a fruitcake.

"Hey Jimin, how have things been?" Kyungmin asked, engaging him in conversation.

Jimin glanced at Bumseok, who gave him an encouraging nod, silently granting permission for them to talk.

Kyungmin sat close to Jimin, careful to maintain a respectful distance.

"Is he still after you?" Kyungmin asked, his voice low and serious.

Jimin's eyes widened slightly at the question, but he managed a warm smile.

"He's not, but I feel like something is off. I can't place my hand on it, but someone is after me again."

Kyungmin's worried smile told Jimin he was genuinely concerned.

Back in high school, Kyungmin had been Jimin's protector during a similar stalking ordeal.

He remembered the cold breeze on the day they met, Jimin waving and smiling at everyone.

When Jimin had waved at him, Kyungmin had run over with a can of coffee.

"Here you go," he said, bowing slightly. Jimin had smiled and thanked him, accepting the drink.

From then on, Kyungmin had become Jimin's guardian angel, studying law and eventually becoming a detective to help stop the bad guy.

However, they had lost contact over the years.

"Jimin, where have you been?" Kyungmin asked, making Jimin look away from Bumseok, who still wore that unsettling bright smile.

"I don't know, figuring out life, I guess," Jimin replied with a slight shrug.

"I lost contact," Kyungmin said, sadness creeping into his voice.

Jimin looked down, the weight of his situation pressing on him.

"No, I was made to stay away from everyone," he admitted.

"It was him again, right?" Kyungmin questioned, and Jimin nodded.

"You know, I am now a psychologist," Jimin said, smiling.

"Really? That's amazing, Jimin," Kyungmin replied, genuinely impressed. "Who are you working with?"

Jimin took a deep breath, his heart racing slightly. "Jeon Jungkook. He's my client."

Kyungmin's eyes widened. "Jeon Jungkook? Like the business guy?"

Jimin nodded. "Yes, Jeon Jungkook, the handsome business guy."

Kyungmin smiled. "That's incredible. How's that going?"

Jimin forced a smile, but his mind was elsewhere.

"It's... complicated."

As the evening wore on, Jimin couldn't shake the feeling that something bad was about to happen.

He appreciated Kyungmin's concern, but the unease didn't fade.

He could only hope that having Kyungmin back in his life might help him navigate whatever dangers lay ahead.
