*Stampy's POV*

Dan had told us we need to prepare for Target and The White Pumpkin's attack. He gave me something I haven't really felt before when we were up against Target in the past he gave me hope. Hope that we can defeat the villain once and for all but knowing Hit the Target he will never stop his wicked ways. I walked up to Dan who had just finished speaking to Sky and Lizzie about something "Hey Dan..." I said with a bit of timidness in my voice, I never really got like this unless I was nervous but I'm not sure why I'm nervous. "Yeah what's up Stampy" he said turning around to look at me,  but I kinda lost my train of thought when my eyes met his. He had chocolate brown eyes that swirled with happiness as he looked down at me. "Uhhhhhh Stamps you alright?" he said as he placed his hand on my shoulder and giving me a concerning look "O-oh yeah im s-sorry I just zoned out a bit" I said while stuttering and tripping on my words a bit "Oh alright, did you need something?" he asked me while slightly cocking his head "Oh I just wanted to s-say thank you for h-helping us with the Target situation" I said as I gave him a small worried smile. I'm guessing he took notice that I was worried sense he wrapped his arms around me into a comforting embrace "Don't worry Stampy I won't let him take you" he said as he tightened the hug a tad as if he was protecting me from the world around us. I couldn't help but feel the heat rise to my face, at this point my face might as well be a tomato. Our hug was cut short when someone tapped Dan's shoulder, Dan turned around to See Lee and Squid giving him a death stare "Excuse us but we need to speak with Dan about battle preparations" Lee said not dropping his glare for a second "O-oh ok I need to g-go help LionMaker fix his shop" I said as I was released from Dan's embrace. I walked over to where the girls were trying to help LionMaker fix his shop that had the side of it blown to smithereens. LionMaker seemed to be really angry he did kinda have a bit of a temper sometimes "Don't worry LionMaker we will have this fixed faster then you can say yellow feathered duck!" Sqaishey said happily. Amy walked over to me and placed a hand on my shoulder "You alright Stamps that was a bit.......traumatizing?" she said with a small worried frown on her face "Oh no no don't worry Amy it's fine, I'm fine I promise" I said as I smiled trying my best to make her feel better. But she was right I am a bit traumatized, what if Target hurts Cassie!?, what if he attacks the village?!, what if my friends get hurt?!. So many things could go wrong and we only have three days before Target comes to get what he wants...unless.....what if I do go to him like he wants...then no one will get hurt and he will let Cassie go.... "Stampy you alright? your making your emotional thinky face" Rosie said as she was still fixing the shop "y-yeah I'm fine I just have a lot on my mind that's all". The girls stopped what they were doing and walked over to me "is it about Target's deal?" Sqaishey said while giving me a concerning frown. "y-yeah I'm just w-worried about how things will t-turn out" I said while tripping on my words and getting a bit tongue tied. I was suddenly engulfed in a hug by the girls "Don't worry your fluffy little head Stampy everything is is gonna be ok" Rosie said while petting my head between my cat ears. I couldn't help but purr which caused the girls to giggle and pet my head more "Aww how cute!" Amy squealed "Girls p-please stop this is e-embarrassing" I said trying not to stutter but I end up failing  "Aw fine" Rosie sighed as they let go of me "What are you guys up to?" Stacy said walking up to us with Lizzie by her side "Making Stampy purr, it's adorable!" Sqaishey squealed while pointing at me "ooooo can we hear it?" Lizzie asked happily practically bouncing in anticipation "N-no you wouldn't want to hear it r-really..." I said nervously trying to avoid the others hearing me purr "uh yeah we do that sounds freakin awesome" Stacy said while smirking. "Purr once and we will leave you alone about it, promise." stacy said kinda tauntingly. "fine i-I'll just p-purr a little b-but then you guys have to leave me alone!!" I sounded worried about what the others would think if they heard him purr. Stacy chuckles in a playfully evil way and she gently scratches under my chin and Lizzie pets my head while giggling " its so soft!!" Lizzie exclaimed. I purred loudly subconsciously trying to lean into both hands not realizing Dan was behind me as red as can be. "oh my goodness that was adorable!!". "D-DAN!?!" I yelped whirling around to see Dan with a light pink blush dusted across his face "n-no no its not what it l-looks like!" I said trying to hide my face in my hands "looks like what?, you being cute?" Lee said while growing a smirk "N-NO!!" I say with my face getting as red as it could ever be at this point "Can I try?" Dan asked with a smile beginning to grow on his face. I went dead silent for a minute. Dan was asking me if he could pet me, am I dreaming right now? "S-sure" I said a little shakily still nervous out of my mind. He gently put his hand on my head in between my ears and begin to rub my head softly, I couldn't help but let off a loud purr as he began to slightly scratch my head "Oh wow he is soft" Dan said with a big grin spreading across his face, He was blushing a bit but I couldn't pay attention to that I was too lost in my own thoughts.
