Shadow Lucifer unknowningly  appeared inside the barrier and charged divine lights on its wings and released it to prevent the shot from reaching Messiah.

Kousuke: Don't take it solo Aphrodi. Don't worry, I'm outside of the barrier. Only Shadow Licifer can enter.
