You Can't Help Being Clumsy
I'm going to the coast this weekend for a small holiday. Do you dare me to try and not use my internet for anything other than snapchat streaks???
You: n-no. Why would you-
Me: ALRIGHT. IT IS SETTLED. THE DARE IS ON.
^I'm literally going to try and do it^
But I think I need a forfeit... can you think of one?
Dan tied up the laces of his skates before standing up and taking his friend's hand. "You know I can't skate." Phil whined, glancing nervously at the ice where he was inevitably going to fall over.
"I'll help you, of course!" Dan grinned, dragging Phil onto the ice before letting go of his hand. Dan took a moment but he soon found his balance and started to skate around a bit. Phil just gripped onto the wall for his life, too scared to let go in case he fell over and made a fool of himself.
"Dan, please!"
"Just try to move at least." Dan said so Phil hesitantly pushed away from the side. He immediately slipped straight over and he would have fallen straight on his face if Dan wasn't there to catch him.
Phil swore under his breath, making Dan laugh. He never really swore unless he got hurt or was put under intense stress.
"It's okay, hold my hand." Phil was currently clutching onto his friend, petrified to let go. He slowly put his hand in Dan's as Dan started to slowly skate a little. Phil was really wobbly but he was smiling very softly as he trailed behind, miraculously without falling over. "Now I'll let go. Stay calm."
Phil let go but it wasn't long before he slipped over and fell straight on his shoulder. He winced in pain before Dan was by his side, pulling him up. "Dan, it hurts." Dan thought he was joking but then he saw the pain in his eyes and he stopped smiling.
"Are you serious?" Phil nodded slowly and so Phil took his good hand, guiding him to the edge of the ice.
"I'm sure it's fine. I probably just pulled a muscle or something."
"Can you move it?" Phil tried and he just cried out in pain. "I'm taking you to the hospital."
-
Phil had dislocated his collarbone. Dan, of course, blamed himself because he was meant to be holding Phil's hand and he wasn't. Phil didn't seem to be in too much pain but his arm was in a sling and the sling was a reminder that Dan had hurt his friend.
"It wasn't your fault!" Phil insisted as he saw the look of guilt on his friend's face. "It's mine for being so bad at ice-skating and for being so clumsy."
"It's not your fault though. You can't help being clumsy! Do you need another drink?"
"I do have another arm, you know?"
The question for this one shot issss:
WHAT DO YOU USUALLY HAVE FOR BREAKFAST?
I usually have porridge (or sometimes toast if I'm not too hungry) because I'm cool :p
