The Energy Never Dies

Okay so this is a songfic to The Script's song The Energy Never Dies. At the moment I really like The Script (or at least one of their albums so :p) I tried to attach the song but like I don't know if it will woooooork

ALSO YES I AM EXCITED THAT I ACTUALLY WROTE SOMETHING!

I cross my heart and I hope to die

May God strike me down if I tell you lies

I'd stay here forever looking in your eyes

Dan looked at his husband to be, smiling widely. Today was their big day and it was going to be the best. Both of the men were dressed in black suits and, in both of their opinions, they looked perfect. They were  standing in front of a small crowd of people. There were a few of their YouTube friends and their families. They didn't want to make a huge deal out of the wedding: they wanted it to be there's. It would be perfect even without spending an infinite amount of money. Money doesn't lead to  happiness; the person they were marrying lead to happiness. They wouldn't mind it just being them, standing in the middle of nowhere: as long as they were together, it would be the best.

I'll take your hand and I'll hold real tight

I'll tell you life's just a blink so don't think twice

Let's catch the moment in a flash of light, woah

24/7, baby, 3-6-5

Dan took Phil's hand into his and they met eyes. Blue met brown, both glistening with tears. They had waited so long for this and they had come so far since the day they first met 13 years ago in 2009. They had  come so far and it was finally time to celebrate.

If we gonna feel alive, then let's feel it now

Then  they heard the words for the first time: "you may now kiss the groom". Both of their faces lit up brighter than the sun as they registered the simple sentence. Phil reached out, placing both of his hands onto Dan's cheeks. They then shared their first kiss as husbands.

We could all be blown to pieces

Because time's a ticking bomb

We could all be dead tomorrow

But our love will carry on

'Cause when you know, your days are numbered

And you're looking in my eyes

It's not the end, 'cause the energy never dies

Oh, oh oh, oh, oh

The kiss was perfect. That word has been repeated many times but it's true, isn't it? Everything about that day was perfect. The moment, the people, the music, the occasion. They pulled back to be greeted with a loud round of applause and smiles all round. It was unbelievable. Dan and Phil glanced around at everyone, their smiles and laughter causing their hearts to flutter with happiness and contentment.

I fell for you and I never got up

I stay here forever 'til I turn to dust

Just take every minute make it last for life, woah

24/7, baby, 3-6-5-5-5

Phil let out a loud laugh, holding out his hand. Dan laughed at a similar volume (if anything a little louder) and so Phil pulled him to the  centre of the room where there was empty space. "Care to dance?" Phil  asked, in a serious yet joke-y way. Phil twirled Dan around to the sound of Ed Sheeran's Thinking Out Loud. People were watching them but they didn't care. They couldn't dance very well but that didn't matter, all that mattered was the moment they were sharing.

We could all be blown to pieces

Because time's a ticking bomb

We could all be dead tomorrow

But our love will carry on

'Cause when you know, your days are numbered

And you're looking in my eyes

It's not the end, 'cause the energy never dies

Phil twirled Dan around once again, pulling him as close as possible. "I will never stop loving you... no matter what," he whispered to the  person he planned to spend the rest of his life with. "You're my world, my universe, my everything.."

"I love you so much.." Dan replied with a tiny, content smile.

"I love you equally."

Oh, oh oh, oh, oh

'Cause the energy never dies

Oh, oh oh, oh, oh

There's no where, there's no when

There's no start, there's no end

'Cause this love, it transcends

I found you before and I'll find you again

They were going to spend the rest of their lives together and just the thought made both of their stomachs bubble with excitement. Their love for each other would last forever, no matter what. Nothing could pull them apart, nothing, not even a natural disaster scale catastrophe.

There's no where, there's no when

There's no start, there's no end

So if we're gonna feel alive

Then let's feel it now, woah

They were connected; not physically but mentally, emotionally... they were forever together in their hearts and no one could deny that. With each kiss, loving look or hug they shared, they grew even closer, although it  hardly seemed possible for them to fall in love even more.

We could all be blown to pieces

Because time's a ticking bomb

We could all be dead tomorrow

But our love will carry on

'Cause when you know, your days are numbered

And you're looking in my eyes

It's not the end, 'cause the energy never dies

As each day passed, they got better. They greeted each day with a giant grin, waving at all the events due to come. On each occasion they'd make each other breakfast in bed, as cheesy as it sounded. Phil's favourite was pancakes and coffee and Dan's simple crumpets and butter (not that  much butter...) and tea.

They knew that one day one of them would no longer be there but they didn't care: they knew they'd all be together in their hearts. Anything could happen but they wouldn't be split apart. Never ever.

Oh, oh oh, oh, oh ('Cause the energy never dies)

'Cause the energy never dies

Oh, oh oh, oh, oh ('Cause the energy never dies)

Oh, oh oh, oh, oh

Dan was laying on his back, looking up at the sky. Phil was beside him,  their shoulders touching. It was such a simple touch yet it sent heat running through their bodies. "Look!" Dan said in excitement, pointing up. "Quick! Make a wish!" The shooting star danced across the sky,  lighting up the world ever so slightly.

"I don't need to," Phil mumbled. "I've got everything I could ever want."

Dan let out a loud chuckle, both of them sitting up. He shoved his boyfriend as they were both in fits of laughter. "You nerd!"

I'll take your hand and I'll hold real tight

I'll tell you life's just a blink so don't think twice

Dan looked down at the stone in front of him. A single tear dropped onto the ground, sinking into the dirt. He placed a hand on his heart, a shaky smile spreading across his face. He looked to his left to see his  husband faintly staring back at him, an equally shaky smile on his face.  He then faded away into nothing but Dan knew he was still there.

Thank you for reading this ^-^

I have a question! Are any of you thinking about uni/college?? If you are, what are you planning on studying?

I'm thinking about uni (not straight after school though) but I don't know what I'd take? Maybe English Language or Psychology?? I'm not sure yet!
