GUESS WHO HAS FINISHED ALL THEIR EXAMS??? MEEEEE!!
I just had my last exam (Further Maths) and it was two hours long and it was in a very hot room but I survived! I'm so happy because now I'll have so much free time on my hands! It's going to be amazinggg

TW: Anxiety.

"Louise, I want to go home." Dan mumbled, his whole body shaking. "There are too many people.."

"I know but, come on! It's Muse! They're your favourite." Louise responded, unaware of how fast Dan's heart was beating.

They were at a Muse concert together. It was Dan's first ever concert and his anxiety level was so high that it was touching the sky. His knees were shaking and he was struggling to stand. Along with that, his stomach was churning and he was finding it hard to stand still and not make a run for it.

"It's your favourite song!" Louise screamed over the loud volume of the audience. Dan didn't even notice that they had started to play Sunburn: he was so out of it.

He looked around at all the people, his heart beating even faster as he noticed how many people were surrounding him and Louise. Then he met someone's eyes and he felt like they were alone in the crowd.

Dan snapped his gaze away from the man, feeling extremely awkward and he was immediately thrust back into the busy concert.

"Excuse me?" A loud voice said, tapping his shoulder. Dan jerked around, his eyes wide. He certainly did not expect the stranger to talk to him. "Are you alright?"

"Y-Yeah. Just anxiety, you know?" Dan stammered, dropping his gaze to his feet.

"Yeah. My brother used to have horrible anxiety so I know how it feels. Why don't you go stand outside and get some fresh air?"

"My friend doesn't want me to." The stranger glanced at Louise, noticing how she was too hooked into the music to see how anxious Dan was.

"Oh well, come on. I'll take you." Dan shakily smiled and started to follow the man through the crowd and outside.

"Thank y-you. I'm Dan by the way." Dan held out his hand for Phil to shake.

"Phil." Phil ignored Dan's hand and pulled him into a long hug. "Sorry, I don't like handshakes; I much prefer hugs. Plus, you seemed like you needed one."

"I've never met anyone so s-sweet." Dan mumbled, looking down at the floor. Phil smiled but didn't respond directly to Dan's compliment.

"So do you like Muse or did you friend drag you here?"

"I like Muse. They're my favourite band."

"Mine too! Do you like anime?"

"Yeah.. you?"

"Yes! It's the best thing in the world. What's your favourite?"

"It's a hard decision but I think I'm going to say Yuri!!! On Ice."

"Really?" Phil snickered slightly, making Dan go red. "That's awesome. May I just ask, do you ship Viktor and Yuri?"

Dan raises an eyebrow, not sure if the question was serious. Phil looked totally serious.

"Of course? Who doesn't?"

"True.. Favourite song?"

"Definitely Sunburn."

"Cool. I like New Born."

"That's a good song too."

"Do you play video games?" Dan nodded. "Do you like Zelda?"

"Of course! It's my favourite thing ever. I think I own like every game."

"Me too. I also own every version of Pokémon there is."

"Me too!"

"How are you feeling now?" Dan suddenly realised that, whilst Phil was distracting him with questions, his heart beat had gone back to normal, he didn't feel trapped anymore and he could breathe and speak without stuttering.

"Good! I actually feel good!" Dan enveloped the stranger into an unexpected hug, catching him off guard. "Thank you so much! You must be like a wizard or something because no one has ever taken away my anxiety completely like that."

Phil smirked. "There's no need to thank me."
