AN:// Hello there. I know I've been missing for a long time. Like...a really long time, but I've decided to return for a little while. I apologize for keeping you guys waiting for that long, but I've just been busy with school and such. Anyway, I've decided to write this one-shot to make it up to you guys. Enjoy!

Damian sat on his bed with his Raven in his arms, her head resting on the crook of his neck. He smiled to himself as he tenderly kissed the crown of her forehead.

"Raven?"

"Yes, love?" Raven lifted her head off of his shoulder to get a better view of him.

Damian smiled at the new nickname.
"I've been thinking about something lately." he said.

Raven titled her head to the side, "About what?" she asked.

"You." he answered softly.

Raven rolled her eyes. "Well, I would be concerned for our relationship if you weren't."

He chuckled lightly at her response. "Well, not just you. I've been thinking about us, or more specifically our future together."

Raven raised her brows in surprise.

"Oh.." was all she managed to say.

Damian face suddenly became serious. "Do you think we'll have a future together, Rae?" he asked

"Of course." she smiled. "If that's what you really want."

"I do. More than anything." he answered truthfully.

Raven grinned.

"Good. Maybe we'll have that someday."

Damian smirked. "Maybe that day will be sooner than you think."

Raven raised a brow in confusion, "Wha-"

Her question was cut off by Damian who suddenly sank to the floor and got down on one knee.

Raven's eyes widened in surprise. "D-Damian.."

He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a violet box. Inside it was a beautiful, silver ring with purple diamonds embedded in the center of it.

Raven gasped when she saw it. Tears of joy began to cloud her vision as she stared down at the ebony-haired man in front her.

Damian grabbed her hand and placed a light kiss upon it.

"Raven...", he started, "I know that we've only been together for about a year and a half now, and you probably don't feel as strongly as I do for you, but I just want to say that you mean everything to me. Before I met you, a part of me felt....incomplete. But you..you made me feel whole. I can't imagine my life without you, and I don't ever want to."

He smiled at the mage as the tears made their way down her pale cheeks.

"So, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" Damian stared at her hopefully and waited for her answer.

Raven smiled and leaned down to brush her lips lightly with his.

"Of course I will, Damian."

Damian grinned and slid the ring on her finger before pulling his new fiancee into another long, but sweet and gentle kiss.
