Following the Justice League's abduction by the Crime Syndicate. Damian Wayne aka Robin was looking into the individual who had mysteriously arrived at the laboratory of Professor Ivo, around the same time.

Through Commissioner Gordon; Robin learnt that the recently captured individual was (dubbed "The Rookie") by Lex Luthor and enlisting into his aid for the Legion of Doom.

Robin had also learnt that "The Rookie" as all members of the Legion of Doom had taken to calling her had gained the ability to absorb superpowers, based on the secret Amazo Project of Professor Ivo.

"The Rookie" was never seen or heard talking and often just followed whatever member of the Legion of Doom was instructing her that day, according to Nightwing and Batgirl.

Today it seems. "The Rookie" was paired with Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Cheetah, Solomon Grundy and Poison Ivy. For a break into Wayne Tech. Not on Robin's watch.

While Nightwing and Batgirl left to contend with Joker as he leads some of Gotham's criminals Scarecrow, Clayface, and Riddler, on a raid of the GCPD HQ while the bat was away. Robin left to fight the criminals at Wayne Tech.

Meanwhile, at Wayne Tech while "The Rookie" was helping them steal several items, Harley Quinn, Catwoman, Cheetah, Solomon Grundy and Poison Ivy were discussing the newest and youngest member of the Legion of Doom.

"So what do you think of the Rookie?" Cheetah questioned the others.

"Grundy, Likes new friend." Solomon Grundy announced to the others."Sure is quiet tough?" Catwoman pointed out.

"Nothing wrong with that." Poison Ivy added as she tossed back some of her red hair.

"Don't think she can talk." Harley Quinn pipped up. "I mean she can laugh but she never makes a peep when she doses."

"You should copy her Harley and give the rest of us some peace and quiet." Cheetah hissed. Harley Quinn promptly stuck out her tongue at the cat.

"Pretty young too. Where did Lex say he found her?" Catwoman continued to question.

"Commissioner Gordon brought her to him just before the breakout. Lex said she was all wide-eyed and looking around, didn't even realise she should be escaping during the breakout. She was just standing there next to Gordon while he was passed out." Cheetah informed her fellow felonious feline.

"Who cares! She seems quite happy to do what we tell her." Harley Quinn said with a huff.

"Still it would be nice if she could talk to us." Catwoman said thinking out loud.

"What about this?" Poison Ivy said and handed over some piece of tech she'd found. It looked like a metal collar.

"The notes say that It some kind of Sonic wave generator able to generate non-lethal verbal sounds." Poison Ivy said reading the notes.

"What that mean?" Solomon Grundy questioned. "It means Grundy. That our little friend will finally be able to talk to us." Cheetah informed the zombie.

"Grundy would like that." Solomon Grundy said and called "The Rookie" over.

After Catwoman fitted the girl with the collar, it took a little coaching but the girl was finally able to speak.

"H-hello?" The rookie was able to crooked out. Much to the villain's surprise. There were cheers of excitement before the latest Robin interrupted them.
