Scott and I walked around the hospital in search for Liam's room and eventually found it after walking for what felt like hours.

"Thank god my feet are about to fall off." I groaned and Scott laughed.

We were about to walk in Liam's room when we heard him talking to someone.

"I can hear them." I said to Scott.

"Me too." He answered.

I listened to the conversation and tried to understand what they were talking about.

"It's broken, isn't it." Liam said and I could tell by his voice he was sad.

"It's definitely going to need an x-ray." The doctor said to Liam.

"It's broken. And it's my fault." Liam said.

I turned to see Scott looking at the ground and I put a hand on his shoulder to reassure him is wasn't his fault.

"You want to tell me what happens?" The doctor asked.

"I went up against two juniors. One of them is captain of the team." Liam said.

"Remember what we always say? Play smart, not hard." The doctor told Liam.

"Are you mad at me?" Liam asked the doctor and I turned to Scott confused about the relationship between the two.

"No, of course not. Your mom might be mad at me for getting you into lacrosse, but maybe we should both wait for the x-ray before we panic. And trust me... I have more reasons to panic than you. It's not over yet. Wait for the x-ray." The doctor said and I figured it was actually Liam's dad.

I heard Scott's phone go off and we walked down the hall before he answered it.

"Hey, Lydia." Scott said.

"Where are you? I couldn't call... I couldn't get away from the deputy." Lydia said quickly.

"Okay, slow down." Scott said to Lydia.

"You need to get to the hospital. You need to get there right now. The son, the only one who survived... he's there." Lydia said and I couldn't understand what she was trying to say.

"So am I. I'm at the hospital with Adeline." Scott said.

"Then find him. Find Sean Walcott." Lydia said and hung up.

I looked up at Scott.

"Well let's go find him." I said to Scott and we ran off.

We ran down every hallway until we started to hear screaming I instantly recognized it as Mrs. McCall and started to run towards the noise. Scott catches up to me and we turned the corner to see Mrs. McCall being dragged by Sean and let me tell he looked hideous. He had glowing white eyes and all of his teeth were white and pointy. His whole face was also covered in blood and I did not want to know whose it was.

"I think I'm ready to talk now." Sean said to Mrs. McCall.

"No! Leave me alone! No!" Mrs. McCall screamed as Sean got ready to bite her.

Scott ran and grabbed Sean before throwing him and checking to see if his mother was okay.

"I'm okay. I'm alright." She told Scott and I ran over to see if she was injured.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Go get that son of a bitch." She said to Scott and he started to run in the direction that Sean went.

I ran faster till I caught up with Scott. He stopped running and turned to look at me.

"You're not coming with me." He said to me.

"Yes, I am" I argued.

"You've never fought against something like this." He told me.

"Fine." I said to Scott and hoped he didn't hear I was lying.

He looked towards me and nodded.

"Go find my mom and stay with her I'll come get you after this is over." He told me and I ran off behind a corner to make it look like I was going to his mom.

I stayed behind the corner for a couple minutes before looking to see if Scott was gone. Once the coast was clear I ran towards the door and up the stairs to get to Scott. I heard growling and opened the door to see Sean and Scott were fighting while Liam hanging from the edge of the roof. I ran towards Sean and grabbed him by the back of his shirt and pulled him around. I dodged a punch and kicked him in the stomach hard and he stumbled back.

"Get back!" Sean yelled at us as he straightened back up.

"Don't. You don't need to do this whatever it is. Whatever you are, we can help you." Scott told Sean.

"We can help you control this, just come with us." I added

"No, you can't." Sean yelled.

"Let me help you!" Scott screamed.

"Wendigos don't need help. We need food." Sean yelled as he ran towards Scott.

"Scott!" I screamed as he was pushed towards the ledge.

"I can't hold on!" Liam yelled and I ran towards Sean once again.

I pulled him off of Scott and punched him in the face. He stumbled backwards but quickly regained stance. He ran towards me and grabbed my arm before twisting it. I cried out as I felt the bone break. I fell to the ground while cradling my arm. Scott ran over to Sean and they started to fight each other. Liam grunted as he tried to hold onto the ledge, but was slipping by the second. Scott went to grab Liam by Sean pulled Scott back. Liam screamed one last time as he let go of the ledge. Scott acted quickly by doing the only thing he could. He bit Liam on the wrist and Liam screamed out in pain. I stood up and saw a man with no mouth throw an axe at Sean. Sean fell to the ground and the guy put a finger to his nonexistent mouth to show us to be quiet. I stared in shock and ran over to Scott quickly.

"We need to get out of here quickly." I said to Scott looking at Liam who cried as he looked at his wrist.

I sat on Scott's bed as I stared at my arm that was still twisted.

"What do I do about my arm?" I asked Scott.

"I can pop it back into place, but it's gonna hurt." He told me.

I stared at my arm again before deciding anything was better than having a twisted arm.

"Just do it quickly." I told Scott.

He walked over in front of me and grabbed my arm. I closed my eyes and waited for the pain. After a while I opened my eyes to Scott looking at me cautiously.

"Just do it already you big baby." I yelled at Scott and he laughed.

I felt him grab my arm and twist it. I cried out in pain and opened my eyes to see my arm back to normal.

"Are you okay?" Scott asked and I turned to give him a glare.

"Seriously?" I asked.

I heard the door bell ring and guessed it was Stiles. I saw Scott get up to go get Stiles and got up to go to my room. I opened the door to my room and saw it was a mess.
I finally decided if I was going to stay here for a while might as well make it nice. I started of my putting my dirty clothes in a bin and setting it outside of my door. I then dusted and wiped everything down. I turned and looked at my bed to see blackest and pillows every wear. I grimaced at the sight, but eventually fixed it.

"I need to go shopping." I said to myself as I looked into the empty closet.

I was about to lie down when I heard screaming come from the hallway. I ran out to see Scott and Stiles falling down the stairs while trying to grab Liam.

"I got his leg!" Stiles screamed.

"I got him!" Scott screamed and I laughed when I saw they were grabbing each other's legs.

"You guys are so stupid." I laughed.

"These are your math notes? No wonder malias failing." Kira said to Lydia and I grabbed them out of her hands.

"Jesus Christ, if this is what we're doing in math then I really don't know what the hell were doing." I said to Lydia.

"Um, some of them are my notes. The rest I think might actually be a code." Lydia told us.

"How do you not remember writing this, I mean look at it." I said shoving the paper in Lydia's face.

"I don't know, but considering my drawing of a tree led us to the nemeton, I should probably figure out what it means before it tried to kill us." Lydia said.

"Maybe it's like the Enigma Code the allies used. Remember my dad was a World War Two buff? And my mom was, well... in it." Kira said awkwardly.

I looked to Kira in confusion.

"We learned that?" I asked shocked.

I was so going to fail that test, or all of them for that matter. Lydia turns at me with a look of disappointment.

"I think it's a variation on something called the Vigènere Cipher." Lydia said.

"Do you know how to crack it?" Kira asked.

"With a key." Lydia said.

"Well there's only like a billion key words in the world." I said sarcastically.

"I'm not sharing my basement." Malia said.

I wonder what people would think if they heard us. They would probably think we are crazy.

"Actually, it's my basement. And my mom noticed how you tore it up last time." Lydia sassed.

"All right, she's still learning." Stiles defended.

"But, we're going to use the boat house for Liam. It's got support beams. We can chain him to one of them." Scott said.

"What about me? I'm something." I asked.

Everyone looked at me.

"We'll do the same to you."
Scott said looking to me.

"How do we get him out to the lake house if he doesn't trust us?" Kira asked Scott.

"I say if it keeps him from murdering someone we chloroform the little bastard and throw him in the lake." Stiles said.

"Really?" I said to Stiles and whacked him on the back of head.

Stiles rubbed his head and groaned.

"I'm in." Malia said agreeing with Stiles.

"We're not killing or kidnapping him." Scott said seriously.

"That didn't stop you the first time." I said and Scott glared at me.

"Then let's be smarter. We tell him there's a party and invite him." Lydia suggested.

"So, you're going to ask out a freshmen?" Stiles asked.

Lydia scowled at stiles and shook her head.

"No, I'm done with teenage boys. But, if we're playing a trick on someone, we'll have to use the trickster." Lydia said glancing at Kira.

"Who? Me? No way. Not me." Kira said frantically.

"What about Adeline?" Malia asked and I glared at her.

"Please Adeline." Kira pleaded

I thought about it for a moment and finally agreed.

"Fine." I groaned. "I'll ask him, but Kira has to drive us there cause I don't know how I'll be." I said.

"Anything." Kira said.

"Well let's go." I said glancing at Scott to see him looking almost... jealous.

I fix my hair as Lydia applies ten layers of lip gloss to my lips.

"If he says no then he's stupid cause you look amazing." Lydia said.

"Thanks, but I still hate this plan." I said.

"Whatever just go and do your thing." Lydia said to me and I smiled before walking off.

I made my way towards the freshman hallway and started walking down the stairs, watching Liam watch me the whole way. It was going good until I tripped over one of the steps and fell face first into the ground. I quickly looked up and saw Liam in front of me.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

I smiled up at him and leaned my chin on my elbow.

"Yeah, I'm perfect. Do you want to go to a party tonight?" I asked and Liam smiled at me.

I sat in Kira's car and looked out of the window.

"It's Lydia Martin's lake house. Actually, it's her grandmother's lake house. But she's dead, so it's okay. I mean, it's not okay that she's dead. Unless she was in pain." Kira rambled on and I blocked her out.

I looked up at the sky and at the moon. I didn't feel anything at the moment and was scared for when I did.

"Can you turn the music down?" Liam asked and I saw him wincing at the loud noise.

"You want me to then the music up?" Kira she's and turned it up.

I saw Liam groan and wondered why it wasn't effecting me like that.

"Who'd you say was coming to this party?" Liam asked and I looked to Kira for help.

"Um... everyone." Kira said and I let out a breathe I didn't realize I was holding in.

We got to the lake house and Liam opened the car door for me. He looked around and saw that no one was there.

"Where is everyone?" Liam asked.

"They're here. It's a small party." Kira said not realizing what she said earlier.

"You said everyone was coming." Liam told Kira.

I quickly fixed the situation.

"They are. They're late. And we're early. So we better hurry." I said as we walked to the door.

"Yay. Party." Kira said and I winced at her awkwardness.

I opened the door and everyone stood there looking towards us.
Liam looked at me and I instantly felt bad.

"Sorry." I said to Liam.

What the hell is this?" Liam yelled and I walked over to Scott's side to get away from Liam who looked like he was about to explode.

"Think of it like an intervention. You have a problem, Liam." Stiles said.

"And we're the only ones who can help." Scott finished.

After telling Liam about everything he looked at us like we were insane before talking.

"Werewolf? Werecoyote? Banshee? Fox? And werewolf?" Liam asked pointing at everyone.

"Kitsune, but fox works." Kira added.

"What are you?" Liam asked Stiles.

I looked at Stiles and waited for a response.

"Uh, for a little while, I was possessed by an evil spirit. It was very evil." Stiles said.

"What are you now?" Liam asked.

"Better." Stiles responded.

I turned around when I heard chains moving and saw Stiles and Malia getting them out of a bag.

"Are those for me?" Liam asked.

"No, they're for me." Malia said flashing her eyes at him.

I blinked my eyes, but nothing happened. I groaned at my lack of experience.

"How did you do that?" Liam asked shocked.

"You'll learn, but first, you need to get thought the full moon." Scott said reassuringly.

"The moons already out." Liam said.

I felt my heart start to beat faster and everything was ten times louder. I winced but no one saw.

"And you're starting to feel something, aren't you?" Scott asked.

"I feel like I'm surrounded by a bunch of psychotic nutjobs. You guys are out of your freaking minds. I don't know how you did that eye thing and I don't care. I'm walking out the door right now! If any of you try to stop me, I swear to God, I'm gonna..." Liam said before falling to the ground screaming.

I grabbed my ears and cried out in pain at the loud noise. My gums started to hurt and I felt my claws growing from my fingers.

"Adeline?" Scott asked.

I jumped up only seeing red and grabbed Scott's arm, feeling my claws go through the his skin.

"We need to get to the boat house now!" Scott yelled at Kira. "Grab Liam!" Scott yelled again.

Scott grabbed me and dragged my out of the house and towards the boat house. Now matter how much I didn't want to hurt anybody I still wanted to kill them all. I growled and thrashed around in Scott's arms.

"Get his hands!" Scott yelled at Kira.

Kira smacked Liam upside the head and ran over to me as I clawed at Scott. She smacked me and I fell to the ground loosing consciousness.

I opened my eyes to see Scott and Kira kissing and heard Liam growl from beside me. They both turned in our direction and watched as Liam and I ripped the chains off the beams. I growled at them and jumped out of the window, Liam following behind. I ran through the woods and everything was red. I couldn't think about besides killing anything in my way.

"Adeline! Liam!" Scott screamed as he ran towards us.

Scott tackled us to the ground and held us down as we struggled against his grip.

"What did you do to me?" Liam screamed at Scott.

"Liam..." Scott trailed off.

"This is your fault! It's all your fault! This is your fault!" Liam screamed and I took this as my opportunity to escape from Scott and run. I started running when an arrow flew past my head and into a tree. Sparks started to fly in every direction and I covered my eyes as did Liam. I ran off and found myself in a field and saw Liam next to me. We both groaned at the noise and fell to our knees.

"What's happening to us?" Liam asked Scott.

"The same thing that happened to me." Scott said calmly.

I wondered how he controlled it so well.

"They can't know about this. My mom, my stepdad, I can't do this to them again." Liam said as he looked to the ground.

"What do you mean again?" Scott asked.

"I got kicked out of school and I deserved it. The way they looked at me when they saw what I did to the car..." Liam said trailing off and I felt bad for him.

"Liam, it's okay." Scott reassured.

"They can't see me like this." Liam sobbed.

"Like a monster? You're not a monster. You're a werewolf, like me." Scott said as he stood up taller.

I felt myself get light headed and winched at the pain.

"Adeline?" Scott asked. "What wrong?" He asked.

"It hurts!" I yelled as I fell to the ground.

I looked over to see Scott and Liam calling my name and shaking me, but I didn't hear anything. I felt myself start to close my eyes and finally all the noise stopped.
