DREAM:

I walk around the woods in search for anything.

"Allison, Are you here?" I ask

I hear a twig snap behind me and turn around quickly. I look and see Allison standing behind me.

"Jesus Allison you almost gave me a heart attack!" I laugh as I hold my chest.

She laughs and walks towards me.

"Sorry." She says.

I look around and return my gaze to her.

"What crazy message or vision am I supposed to see now?" I ask sarcastically.

She laughs.

"Nothing. Tonight we just get to talk." She says.

She reaches her hand forward and I hesitantly reach forward. I grab her hand and look to her curiously.

"What are you doing?" I ask her.

"Just close your eyes." She says.

I close my eyes and wait.

"Open them now." She says quietly.

I open my eyes slowly and gasp. We stood in a large valley full of flowers and tall grass. The sky was a beautiful mixture of yellow, orange, and pink, and birds lightly chirped in the distance.

"It's beautiful." I say in astonishment.

"I like to come here and watch the sunsets. Especially when I'm sad or feeling lonely. I find that when I'm here I feel like I'm right back in Beacon Hills with my family and the pack." Allison says sadly as she looks off into the distance.

I look over to her and smile sadly. I reach and grab her hand intertwining our fingers.

"Your not alone Allison. You'll always have me." I reassure her.

She looks towards me and smiles with glosses eyes.

"I know." She smiles.

I reach over and wipe her fallen tears form under her eyes.

"Now stop crying and enjoy this moment with me." I laugh.

She laughs and leans her head on my shoulder.

"How long do we have before I have to leave?" I ask.

"Well when the sunset is over you will wake up back in Beacon Hills." She says.

I nod my head and look back out to the sky.

"So you and Scott huh?" Allison teases.

I feel my cheeks turn pink and look towards her with wide eyes.

"You like him don't you?" She laughs teasingly.

"No I don't!" I yells back.

She looks towards me with her smirk on her face.

"Okay maybe a little bit." I say quietly.

She gives me another look.

"Okay a lot!" I yell.

She laughs and hits my shoulder.

"I ship it!" She yells as she stands up.

"Allison, he's dating Kira!" I yell.

Allison stops and looks at me.

"Honey, I'm not stupid Scott is in love with you." She says.

I look towards her confused.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I watch over you guys, but that isn't the point. He is totally head over heels for you." She says.

I laugh and stand up.

"I really hope your right Allison." I says.

"When am I wrong!" She laughs.

I pull her into a hug quickly as I see the sun start to disappear. She hugs me back and I look into the sky one last time and watch as it fades away.

"Goodbye Allison."

PRESENT:

I open my eyes and frown when I see that I'm back in my room. Well at least it was good while it lasted. I get up from my bed and start to walk downstairs. Making my way to the kitchen I stop when I see Scott. He gives me a tiny smile and I quickly look away. I was still mad at him about last night. I mean how could he not tell me Malia is my cousin?

"Adeline I'm sorry." Scott says.

I turn towards him and lean against the counter.

"Why didn't you tell me?" I ask.

"I know it was stupid of me. I should have told you, but we were scared what malia would do if she figured it out." Scott says.

Scotts eyes hung low and I sighed.

"Just please don't do it again. It seems my life is filled with secrets, and I don't want you to be the one to keep them from me." I say.

Scott nods.

"I won't do it again." He says quickly.

I laugh. He was like a little puppy.

"What?" He asks confused.

"Your like a lost puppy." I laugh.

He glares at me.

"No I'm not." He argues.

"Oh yes you are." I say.

"Whatever. Get ready were having a pack meeting soon." He says.

"Okay puppy." I say as I walk up the stairs.

I hear him groan and I laugh.

"Are we really doing this?" Lydia asks.

"We're doing it tonight." Scott answers.

Liam looks around unsure.

"But isn't it kind of dangerous?" He asks.

I laugh at him.

"It's incredibly dangerous and borderline idiotic." Stiles says.

"Have you guys done something like this before?" Liam asks.

"Something dangerous? Or something idiotic?" Stiles asks.

I walk over to Liam and put a hand on his shoulder. He looks up to me and I smile.

"It's all going to be okay. Don't worry." I reassure.

He takes a deep breath and nods.

"You don't have be to be apart of this if you don't want to." I say.

He shakes his head and looks up to me again.

"I'm not scared." He says confidently.

I smile and pat his shoulder.

"Then your borderline idiotic. If we do this, we don't know what's coming for us. You know that right?" Stiles asks.

"How do we even know somethings definitely coming?" Kira also asks.

I look towards Scott. How did we really know what to expect? So far we were jumping into the situation blind and that scared me.

"Because the tape from Garett's bag said visual confirmation required." Scott answers.

"Simon said the same thing. He couldn't get paid by the benefactor until he had proof the other guys were dead." Stiles says.

"So if you kill someone but can't send proof what happens?" I ask.

"You don't get paid." Kira answers.

"But how does that get us any closer to the benefactor?" Liam asks.

"He still needs to know if the targeted really dead." Scott says.

"Especially if it's someone high on the list." Stiles adds.

"So if he wants visual confirmation..." Liam starts but I cut him off.

"He's going to have to come get it himself." I say as I look around the pack.

That was the moment I knew that I would do anything to protect them all, even if it meant dying.

"Are you guys totally sure about this?" Liam asks as he paces around the room.

I smile slightly and sit up front position on the tiny bed.

"Liam I promise everything will be fine." I say.

Liam nods and sits on the edge of the bed. I look over and notice Scott chewing on his finger nails nervously. He looks up and meets my gaze.

"You don't have to do this I can." He says with a little bit of nervousness in his voice.

"You already do to much for this pack, anyway I'm the highest on the list if anything he'll want me." I tell Scott.

I grab his hand and squeeze it reassuringly.

"I'll be okay." I say.

"I know." He says as he nods.

Taking one last look around the room I take a deep breathe and lay back down.

"I'm ready." I say to Mrs. Yukimara.

"So you've done this before, right?" Liam asks.

"I've seen it done before." She says.

"Is that just as good?" Liam asks.

"No." She answers honestly.

I look over at Mrs. Yukimara with a look of uneasiness. She better know what she's doing.

"Mom, you're not inspiring much confidence." Kira says.

"Good. This is a terrible ideas." Her mom says as she crosses her arms.

"Do you want us to do it without you?" Kira asks sassily.

Mrs. Yukimara rolls her eyes.

"Put your hand over her heart." She instructs.

Kira reaches her hand to place it on my chest but I grab her wrist quickly and look over to Mrs. Yukimara.

"Hold on. What happens while I'm out? Am I gonna feel anything?" I ask.

"It might feel like you're dreaming." She says.

"Good or bad?" I ask.

She shrugs.

"I guess that depends on you."

Kira places her hand on my chest and I feel my self get shocked until it all went dark.

DREAM:

Opening my eyes I saw that I was back in Mexico. The air was warm and dry and I looked around. Turning around I saw a pile of bodies that lye dead on the ground, blood covered all of them. My hand went up to my mouth when I saw it was all of my friends and family. Tears sprung to my eyes as I slowly backed away from the scene. I feel myself run into something and turn around.

"If you don't learn to control your powers your going to kill everyone you love." Kate says.

"What do you mean? I don't even know what I am!" I yell.

I just wanted to understand. She walks closer and places a hand on my shoulder.

"I can't help you, but you have to return the favor." She says.

"Just help me." I plead. "I can't hurt them." I say.

"If you want to save them you have to let me take control of your powers." She says.

My eyebrows furrow in confusion. Take control of my powers?

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Ill tell you if you agree to the deal." She says.

I look down to the ground contemplating. After a little I look up into Kate's eyes with a look of determination.

"Deal." I say.

I would do anything to save my friends.

I gasp as I sit up on the cold metal table.

"Did it work?" I ask everyone around me.

They all shake their heads. I look down and sigh. Liam runs in and everyone turns to him.

"What?" Kira asks.

"It's your mom she's hurt." Liam says out of breath.

I sat down on my bed as I messed with my hands. I couldn't get what Kate said out of my head. I just didn't want to hurt anybody, but it seems that all I'm good at. I hear a faint knock on my door and continue to mess with my hands.

"Come in." I say quietly.

Scott peeks his head in and closes the door. He walks over and sits down next to me on my bed.

"I just wanted to see if your okay after you know dying." He say as he laughs slightly.

I turn to him and feel myself tear up a little bit.

"I'm scared Scott." I say.

He grabs one of my hands and rubs it.

"What happened?" He asks.

I take a deep breath before talking.

"I woke up in Mexico, Kate was there and so were all of you guys. You were all dead in a pile and it was all my fault. Kate told me that if I didn't learn to control my powers I would hurt all of you. So I made a deal with her." I say.

"What kind of deal?" He asks.

"If I let her have control of my powers she would help me." I say.

He wipes a tear from my cheek and smiles slightly.

"It was all just a dream Adeline. You don't have to worry about any of it." He says.

"But if felt real. Almost like everything she was saying was true." I say. "She called me something."

Scott turns to me and gives me a look of surprise and confusion.

"What did she call you?" He asks.

"The kanima."

We finally know what Adeline is!!

Sorry I haven't updated in forever. I just haven't been getting ideas for this book, but now I have an idea of where I want this book to go!

How is Adeline a kanima if she doesn't turn into a crazy looking lizard? Comment below what you think!
