Chapter Six.

Demon rode back to the club with Zeke, Ty and Wolf. The first thing they noticed when they pulled into the parking lot was the fancy BMW parked near the front door. Becky was standing beside it arguing with a man in a suit, obviously distressed.
They parked near the BMW, Zeke and Ty the first two to her side.
"Zeke!" She called out to him.
"Hey, Becky, what's going on?" Ty asked.
"That asshole, is pressing charges."
"What?" Zeke asked.
"Which one of you gentleman is a Mr. Ezekiel Green?" The man asked.
"I am," Zeke said.
The man offered him a paper and Zeke roughly pulled it from his hands, his eyes scanned it a few times before he looked back at the man.
"Is this a joke?"
"I'm afraid not sir, a few days ago my client reports he was physically assaulted at his place of work."
"That's bullshit!" Becky yelled.
"Becky, calm down." Zeke warned.
"No! They can't pull this shit."
"What's going on?" Wolf asked.
"Nothing, everyone just go inside." Zeke said.
"You sure?" Ty asked.
"Yes, everyone." He looked at Becky directly.
"I'm not going anywhere," Becky insisted.
He scowled at her but she wasn't intimidated, the other men heard the threat in his voice and wisely all went inside. Becky stood her ground, standing next to Zeke and yelling at the man who tried to explain the situation.
Demon, Ty and Wolf walked into the club and Iris ran to meet Wolf. He smiled and opened his arms as she reached him lifting her up for a hug. She rested her tiny head on his shoulder with a contented smile.
Morgan crossed the bar and he placed a chaste kiss on her lips. It was good to see him happy and settled down. For being a tough biker even Demon had to admit the family aspect suited Wolf well. He and Morgan click and his relationship with Iris couldn't be any better. The two broken hearts somehow had made a family.
"What's with all the yelling?" Morgan asked.
"Something with Zeke and Becky," Wolf replied.
Ty wandered to the bar and Wolf pulled out a chair at a table. He sat down resting Iris on his lap, Morgan taking up the seat beside him and Demon settling across from them.
"Have you found Lacy?" Morgan asked Demon.
"No, I haven't seen her in awhile. I'll find her, it just takes time."
"Time we are running out of, King sent a man to kill you." Wolf said.
"Are you alright?" Morgan asked.
"I'm fine, I took care of it. This war between the MCs is bound to put targets on all our backs."
"We can't back down, not now." Wolf said.
"I know, I'll find her and I'll find out what I can."
"If she willingly gives up Kings location, then she can go free." Wolf announced.
"Seriously?" Demon asked.
"Yes, she can never return to this club. I never want to see her in this town again and if I have to kill her I will, one way or the other. But I'm not above making a trade, Kings life for hers."
Demon knew it was probably pointless, he doubted that Lacy would give up King for anything. He didn't know where her loyalty to King had started but he knew it was there, he also knew he could use it as an advantage. If he followed Lacy and she led him to King he could let her go and take King, Wolf would never need to know that Lacy hadn't made the deal.
At that moment Zeke came into the room, Becky trailing behind him the two obviously fighting. He approached the table with her on his heels.
"Please, please, let me help you." She begged.
"No, I told you to stay the hell out of it."
She looked genuinely hurt as Ty rushed to meet them.
"What's going on?" Wolf asked the pair.
"That bastard I knocked out for feeling up Becky is pressing charges. I could face jail time, the police are coming in a few hours to pick me up. They're fast tracking the entire thing, they're going to hold me until the court date."
"No, no, I won't let them." Becky promised.
"Shut up! You've done more than enough," Zeke yelled.
"I can help." She said.
"It's because of you I'm in the mess at all."
She flinched at his words then spun on her heel and fled, brushing passed Ty on her way outside.
"Becky," Ty called out to her.
"I'll go," Morgan said standing and running after her.
Zeke glared at where Becky had retreated and then turned back to Wolf, Demon and Ty.
"I'm afraid I won't be much help in the war if I'm in jail."
"The accusations won't stick, you'll be out in a few days." Wolf said.
"I know, I just hope there's a club to come back to in a few days."
"We'll be fine," Demon promised.
"You might want to at least apologize to Becky before you go," Ty offered.
"Why should I? It's her damned fault."
"She didn't ask you to punch that guy out."
Zeke rolled his eyes, obviously getting fed up with Ty's constant devotion to Becky. As if on cue Beck and Morgan rushed back into the building.
"There are cops outside," Morgan said.
"They're here for me then," Zeke said with a sigh.
"King has cops on his payroll, let's not rule out that he's pulling these strings." Demon pointed out.
"Doesn't matter, I have to go." Zeke said.
The three cops came through the door, two watching the other men who respectively backed away from Zeke.
"They're Kings alright, I recognize them." Demon muttered to Wolf.
"Ezekiel Green, put your hands in the air!" One yelled.
He sighed heavily and did as he was told, it was damned embarrassing being arrested for something so petty in front of half the club. The Cop approached and began to pat him down, handing off his many weapons to the other officer.
"The accusations won't stick," Wolf promised again.
"We'll get you out as soon as we can," Ty added.
Zeke gave a slight nod as the officer grabbed his hands and roughly began to cuff him. He gripped Zeke's jacket and used it to roughly push him towards the door. He willingly crossed the parking lot until Becky ran up beside him.
"Get your ass back inside," He scolded as she fell instep beside him.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry."
"Don't apologize, you knew damned well that interview was a bad idea."
"No I didn't!" She cried.
They reached the car and the officer roughly slammed him into the side, knocking the air from his lung. He had a funny feeling these paid off cops would make sure he was a bloody mess until he arrived at the station. As the officers prepared him for transport he turned back to Becky.
"You knew that man was a pig, you knew he'd make a move and you knew I'd never let it happen."
"No, I didn't." She said, slowly turning bitter.
"Just stay with Ty."
The cops opened the door and shoved him into the back seat slamming it after him. Becky backed away from the car when one of them approached her. She wasn't stupid, she knew what they were going to do to him. What she didn't know was that thanks to the war he had a target on his back and it was inevitable that King would send someone. He could only hope Demon caught up to Lacy and quick, before King made a move on Ty, Sky or Wolf.
