Jessica and Danny spent a week in Rome. They got to see a bit of Rome but Jessica was tired most of the time that they spent their time in their hotel room.
On the flight home, Jessica was really emotional. She kept apologizing to Danny as she felt she had ruined their honeymoon by not being able to go to many places. She cried and Danny did his best to comfort her.
"It's okay Jess. Really, as long as I was with you it didn't matter what or where we were able to go."
After an hour of crying, Jessica fell asleep in Danny's arms as they headed back home to New York.

*8 months pregnant*

Jessica was becoming more miserable in her pregnancy at 8 months. Nights were the worst. Jessica wasn't able to find a comfortable position to sleep; her belly had gotten to the size of a basketball. Also, she kept going to the bathroom all night and the baby had become more active at night now too. Plus she started to feel a tightening sensation in her uterus. She read on What to Expect When You're Expecting that what she was feeling was what is called Braxton Hicks Contractions. They only last a few seconds but still very uncomfortable and sometimes a bit painful.
"Please, be a good boy for mommy and let me sleep." Jessica said as she rubbed her belly with her fingers in circular motion. She could feel the baby was starting turn downwards.
"Ow!" Jessica flinched as they baby kicked her in her ribs.
Danny stirred in his sleep but didn't wake up.
"Glad someone is sleeping around here." Jessica thinks to herself and rolls her eyes.
She gets up and goes to the bathroom.
When she walks out of the bathroom, she knew there was no hope for sleep so she decided to go to the living room.
She sits down on the sofa and opens up a book she had been reading. After a few chapters, Danny wakes up and walks into the living room.
"Jess, you okay?"
"Yeah, I'm okay. It's just your son decided to have party and has been keeping me up."
He goes over to the sofa and sits by Jessica.
"It's still weird seeing him move like that." said Danny referring to how they can actually see the baby's movements and kicks. "Does it hurt?" He places his hands on her belly.
"Yeah, it does."
"Awe I'm sorry love. I wish there was something I could do."
Jessica stayed silent. She was so tired and sleepy and her hormones were all over the place that she was starting to get annoyed at Danny.
It was 6 am and Jessica could feel the baby calm down a bit. Jessica lets out a huge sigh and hugs Danny; she then lays her head on his chest.
It was quiet for few minutes, then Danny hears Jessica's steady breathing. He lays head back and he too falls asleep.
It was 11:30 am when Jessica opens her eyes. "How's the book?" she asks.
"It's interesting, not my usual taste but still interesting." Danny replied.
He had woken up two hours before Jessica and didn't want to disturb her, so her careful picked up the book Jessica had been reading and began to read.
Danny puts the book down. "Let's go out to eat breakfast. Then I want to take you some where, for a surprise."
"I don't know. I don't feel like going out." she says yawning.
"Come on Jess. I promise you'll enjoy it."
"Fine." she sighs. "I'm gonna take a quick shower. Be right out." She leans in to give Danny a kiss then with Danny's help gets up from the sofa.

After breakfast, Danny takes Jessica to her surprise; a spa.
He had set up an appointment for her the day before. He got her a package that had a leg and foot massage, a pedicure and a manicure.
Jessica hadn't felt so relaxed in weeks, she now closed her eyes and dozed off again.
Walking out of the spa, Jessica wraps her arms around Danny and says, "Thank you so much for this! I feel so refreshed. You are the most wonderful husband ever." She began to cry. "I know I haven't been myself lately, I'm so sorry Danny for snapping at you so much."
"Shhh...it's okay love. Please don't cry."

They got back to their apartment around three. Before Danny opened the door, Jessica noticed that something was going on. She could hear whispers inside. Danny opens the door.
"SURPRISE!!!"
Jessica walked in to see all her friends and family there. Blue decorations were scattered everywhere, the theme was a safari, and a banner hung on the wall that said, "Ready to Pop!"  Then on the bottom it, it said, "Welcome baby boy Huston!"
Sarah had called Danny a week before the baby shower to set up how they were going to surprise Jessica. That's when Danny said he would leave them an extra key to the apartment so they can decorate while he took Jessica to the spa.
Jessica burst into tears.
"Awe Jess! Don't cry!" Sarah says hugging Jessica.
"Yeah Jess, we didn't mean to make you cry." Lily said hugging Jessica after Sarah.
"I...can't...help...it!" Jessica replies in between sobs.
Kathy and Anjelica are next to greet Jessica.
"Awe Hun, you're gonna make me cry!" Kathy says.
It took a while for Jessica to compose herself, but once she did, the baby shower began.
They played a few games such as, baby bingo, baby word search, a guessing game where you had to guess how many jelly beans were in a baby bottle, guess what's in the diaper where you had to guess which chocolate candy was in the diaper, and Jessica's least favorite, a game where you had to guess how big Jessica's belly was by cutting a string the length you thought was right.
Jessica opened gifts and food was served then after, the cake.
It was 5 pm when Jessica began to feel drowsy. She was so exhausted from not sleeping much at night. Slowly the guests began to leave until it was just Sarah and Lily who stayed.
"Jess, why don't you go lay down and get some rest while Lily and I clean up." Sarah said.
"Okay." Jessica says while giving Sarah and Lily each a hug. "Thank you so much you two, for everything."
"You're welcome Jess. You've become our family....our sister. We'll do anything for you." said Sarah with tears in her eyes.
"Oh my gosh Sarah, you're going to make me cry again." Jessica said fighting back tears. "Before I go lay down, I want to ask you two something."
"What is it?" Lily asked.
"Danny and I have been talking and, we were wondering if you two would like to be the baby's godmothers?!"
"Omg! Yes!" Lily and Sarah said at the same time.
They all came together for a group hug. Then when they broke apart Sarah said speaking to and placing her hand on Jessica's belly. "Hi baby boy. This is your aunt Sarah, I can't wait to finally meet you."
