The pair had stolen gryphons from the citadel, Nathanos still tracked Sylvanas. "I never did like heights," he chuckled.

"I am surprised at you," she said, he huffed a laugh glancing over at her. Keal laid along the back of her gryphon, burying slender fingers into thick feathers.

"Don't fall," Nathanos said.

"I won't," she said. The gryphons began to tire but the Broken Isles was now in view, they landed with a thud and the pair dismounted. Keal hauled her sword from its scabbard and charged forward.

"Wait!" Nathanos called.

"Speed up old man!" she called but just as she continued a felhound ran at her and pinned her. Nathanos wasted no time and struck the beast, it whimpered and let Keal go. With one swing of her blade she decapitated the beast.

"You stay close!" He barked and pushed her behind him.

"I don't need your protection..." he cut her off and turned on his heel facing her.

"Now is not the time to be arrogant with me, I am experienced in combat you are not," he said. Her expression dropped his serious tone stopped her arguing any further, she followed behind him head held low. Just as they climbed the steep hill they could hear shouts, screams and the demanding orders of her mother. Keal couldn't wait and rushed to help right the horde locked in battle.

She was covered in black blood and fel but never tired, Nathanos still fought by her side. As the sun dropped and the clouds shrouded the moon the fighting came to an end, the demonic forces dropped back and retreated to lick their wounds. The horde returned to their camp too, while the wounded rested Sylvanas stood over a map marking the places where she suspected the demonic forces were to attack again. She was joined by Varian and together they discussed their next move.

Nathanos and Keal approached her. "Finally you join me my dear," she said lifting her glance to meet hers. Varian looked between the two elves.

"You bring your own daughter to battle?" he asked shocked.

"Yes, I needed an extra soldier with ferocity," she said.

"Like mother like daughter," Keal chuckled.

"Quite," Varian said. Her eyes wandered the map.

"Do you have enough forces to cover that much of a distance?" Keal asked and walked a gloved finger down the inky pathway.

"Just about," Varian said.

"Keal you are to take a small group, and scout the area where the demonic forces are drawing their power, I need you to tell me all their weaknesses and the easy way to attack," Sylvanas said.

"That I can do," she grinned and placed her arms over her chest.

"Takes the rogues with you," she said. Keal nodded and took their path, they were high above the demons, they could feel their presence. They laid on their stomachs and stared down at them. "Their defences will over power us," she said to the undead rogue next to her.

"You are right milady," she said.
