I woke up in the morning and everyone was still asleep so I decided to go outside. I slipped out from under blondie's shoulder, but first kissed his cheek, and went out the front door. I was staring into the sky and imagining the shapes of the clouds and I didn't even notice someone sat down next to me. "Hey Eli," I turned my neck to see Dally sitting down next to me, "Hey Dal," I responded, "So, what ya doin' out here?" "Just lookin' at the clouds what are you doin' out here?" "I just came out here to uh... smoke... yeah, smoke." "Dal, what's wrong?" "What? No, Eli nothing's wrong sweetheart." "Dally, don't lie to me. I know something's wrong. Please tell me what it is." "Fine. Eli do you like Ponyboy?" "Why?" "Just answer the question, do you like Pony?" "Why does it matter?" "Because, I want to know if my cousin is going to be dating my friend." "Fine, yes I like him. Happy?" "Very." "Screw you Dallas." He just smirked and I laid my head on his shoulder and fell asleep. I felt him pick me up and carry me back inside the house and someone placed a blanket on me and kissed my forehead. I assumed it was Dally, and then I fell into a deep sleep.
