Untitled part
Dylan's POV:
Dallas yanked me up out of the bush and dragged me inside while carrying Johnny over his shoulder. I cleared the small table in our one- room house. Dallas carefully set Johnny down. The dark haired boy groaned.
"S'okay, Johnnycakes." My brother said, brushing Johnny's hair out of his face to examine a dark purple bruise on the smaller boy's forehead.
"The damage is not too bad. Given a few bandages, you'll be fine." I tell Johnny. Dallas pushes me away. "Shut up." He says in a hushed tone.
I put my hands up in surrender.
Then Dallas looks at me with pure fury in his eyes. "You. Stay here and patch Johnny up. I'm gonna go beat that jerk's ass." Then he marches out the door with clenched fists.
I grab a first aid kit out of my suitcase and used a Q-tip to spread the stuff to clean wounds all over his cuts and bruises. I finish and his eyes flutter open. "Thanks Dal." He mutters to me.
"Oh. No. I'm Dylan. Dallas is out beating up the guy who beat you up. Jerry."
He squints. "Oh. Sorry. It's hard to yell you apart."
"Really?" I say. "Oh my God." I quickly place my hand over my heart. "Forgive my language."
Johnny lets out a laugh.
I furrow my eyebrows. "Did I say something amusing?"
He shakes his head. "No. No, it's just that....... Did you two really grow up together? Or was it a seperated at birth thing?"
"We really grew up together. We were close when we were younger." I say. "But in our old neighborhood, there are only two ways to survive; either learn the streets, or keep your nose tucked into a book. The smart ones like me choose the latter."
Johnny nods. "That makes sense." He creased his forehead. "But how did you two end up choosing different paths?"
I think for a minute. "I can honestly say I don't know." I smile slightly. "When we were like, toddler-aged, people honestly thought it would be switched- that I would be the bad one and Dallas would be the smart one."
We both laughed at this.
"I could not, in a million years, imagine that." Johnny says.
"Well, it was probably easier to imagine it when we were like, four or five years old."
Johnny nods. "Were a lot of the other sets of twins in New York opposites?"
I think hard for a moment. "A few........ But most usually went the same way. Although, we're only talking about one neighborhood out of all of New York City."
"Y'know," Johnny smiles, "you're a tuff guy."
"Thanks." I reply, grinning like crazy.
No one ever compliments me on something Dallas would be complimented on.

Sorry. Writers block.
So I need a character to be Dylan's girlfriend, and one for Dally.'s girlfriend.
Just to make the plot I have a little less boring.
Love ya!
