Two Two's
Dylan's POV:
when end we get home I do a little happy dance and Dallas looks at me like I'm an idiot.
"Dyls, you know I'm only doing this to shut you up, right." He says.
"well, at least I care."
"you're weird."
i huff and and cross my arms. My brother can be so ungrateful.
then he points at something across the street. "Hey ain't that Max and Jerry Fletcher?"
i follow his finger. Across the street, is a moving van. Two teenagers were propped up against it talking. They were definitely Max and Jerry; another set of twins we knew in New York. Max was a girl who always wore too much makeup and jewelry and dressed like a whore. Jerry was a mega-zillion times tougher than Dallas and looked the part too. His jet-black hair was spiked up like porcupine quills, he always wore ripped jeans with a black leather jacket with silver chains on it, shiny brass knuckles on both hands that had decorative spikes, pointy cowboy boots which felt as if they were made of steel, and black eyeliner around his icy blue eyes. Max had his same hair and eyes, but her hair fell loosely by her hips.
"what are they doing here?" I say.
"let's find out." Dallas takes a step towards them. I stopped him.
"are you crazy?"
"yes." He drags me towards the pair.
The Fletchers notice us and slowly walk towards us and we meet in the center of the road like in those Wild West movies.
Jerry looks between us for a moment, evidently trying to figure out who was who. He finally looks Dallas and says, "Dallas." Had nods towards me, "dork."
"Jerold." Dallas says, then nods towards Max, "slut."
they're silent for a moment before they start circling eachother. Max flaunts her hips as she walks up to me.
"what are YOU doing here?" We both say at the same time.
"we just moved here." she says.
"so did I. And Dallas has been here."
we we back away from eachother as Dallas and Jerry stop circling eachother.
"Max, go inside. This could get ugly." Says Jerry. Max runs into their house.
"aw, you wanna protect your sister." Dallas smirked, waving me off.
"touché." Says Jerry.
I decide to back away so I don't die.
i watch them spit insults and circle eachother from a safe distance. You'd think Dallas and Jerry would be best friends, but no. They're in the middle of a never ending competition. I'm not sure what their feud is all about, and I don't plan to stick around and find out. I can see Max watching from a window in her house. Lucky her. She has something in between her and them other than air.
Neither Jerry or Dallas is dominant against the other. They are one in the same.
