You woke up still in Darry's arms still on the couch. The guys were sitting there watching tv. Well all of them except soda. Jamie was sitting on Steve's lap to. You thought it was a dream. But if it was a dream you would have been in Soda's arms instead of Darry's. "Hey blaze finally decide to wake up huh." Pony said with a smile. "Where's soda?" You asked rubbing the sleep out of your eyes. "We found him last night but he wouldn't come back with us. He said that if we really wanted him to come back with us then you and Darry would have come with us." Two-bit said shaking his head. "Oh. Jamie what are you doing?" You said looking at your best friend. "Huh? Oh yeah I listened to you." Jamie said. "Great." You said happy that something was going right for someone. "So where is  soda right now?" You heard Darry asked. "He is at the lot. Been there all night." Steve said. "Great he's gonna be in a great mood." Darry said. "Pony go get me Soda's grease." You said standing up to put your shoes on. "Why?" Pony asked like you were crazy. "Because being out in the lot all night Soda's hair won't look to good will it. Come on Darry." You said grabbing the van of grease from pony and walking out the door with Darry behind you. "I have to see this." Steve said. Jamie was already by your side as soon as you walked out the door. "Blaze how do you k ow this is gonna work?" Dal asked. "Trust me from being here in Tulsa for a few years plus my New York sense Soda might as well be back at the house." You said smirking at Jamie while walking into the lot. "Soda" you yelled in your sweet voice. "Go away." He said. "I got hair grease." You said. "Gimme gimme" soda said jumping up from the car seat he was laying down on. "Babe I want you to come back to the house." You said. "Why should I do that. You wanna be with Darry instead of me." Soda said tears welling in his eyes. "Listen Sodapop I love you and only you. Darry was just trying to comfort me." You said pulling soda into a hug. "Why should I believe you. That your not just telling me that." Soda said jumping out of the hug. "Because you love me and that Darry will tell you the exact same thing I am." You said looking at Darry to tell Soda. "Yeah Soda. I was just comforting her." Darry said walking up to his brother. "Are you sure" soda asked. "Yes I'm sure. Now come home." You said grabbing Soda's hand. "Wait." Darry said. "What" you all said stoping. "I can't do this anymore." Darry said. "Do what?" You asked. "Blaze I have been in love with you since the day you stepped through that door behind Dallas. It has killed me to watch you and soda." Darry said looking at you. "Why didn't you tell me this before?" You asked looking at Darry. "Because I didn't want to do anything to make you not feel comfortable around me. And I didn't want to come between you and Soda." Darry said before taking off running down the sidewalk to some where.
