FLUSHED dawn dripped down and stained the glades like fragments of chipped glass, rippling together like ruptured waves, swaddled between freckled fingers grazing sand. Her tendons stretched with hymns of the fresh, baked layer illuminating on the Earth. The gold, glistening sun drops lightly, skimming past her lips like delicate fingers tracing her soft flesh, dripping down her chambers brimming with sweet poetry and forest folklore, denim jean overalls. Baby daisies tremble between tumbles of silver spoons and lavender-honey-scented walls.

In the crystalline, hazed fogs of the morning dew, dappled droplets on sweet tussocks of grass. Dorcas Meadowes's mind was vigilant; even the waxing, crescent moons could still remember paintings embodying glassy, soft sunshine diving into an ocean-warmth through their coiled, silken eyelashes.

Their lover's warm sepia fingertips, swallowed in freckles, softly thumbed across soft spools of threaded cimmerian curls, embellished across her lap like bundles of gossamer ribbons. They intertwined their finger with the loosened linen thread, tugging on it like the ripples of her fluttering heartstrings. Daisy's eyes slowly crease open, basins of glossy honey cusping onto the morning dew memories of tea with milky tendrils dancing on the surface, and cable-knit cardigans. A nexus of fluorescent bursts of sunshine glanced through the empty bottles of whiskey, twisted in between soft brown legs. Dorcas quietly watched the girl nestle closer onto her lap lightly stirring, pivoting her face around revealing little wispy flecks of fragmented, twinkling stardust.

hello everyone !! im literally so excited to start this book since it's been on hold for so long,, daisy and dorcas are such soft bbys and i love them with all my heart. also, dorcas is literally my comfort character and i love them with all my heart so i needed to make a fic for them!!
