*This was the poem that I wrote during my cousin's wedding. Hope you guys like it. *

Gone are the days when we used to fight,
Mother used to come and switch on the light.
The pulling of blankets, the quarrel for remote,
The showery afternoon ,we set sail our boat.
Raw guavas and the sweet tart berries,
Relished greatly with grandma's stories.
Remember, you once broke mother's necklace
And how dexterally I unravelled the case.
A little grown up, we discussed our crush,
An unexpected compliment that made you blush.

A decade passed, I kept following you,
Whatever you encountered, adventures new.
I felt shadowed by your presence,
Thought I'd lost my unique essence.
I distant myself from your perfection,
2Little did I thought about our relation.
Now the day you look splendid in your wedding gown,
Today, I stand here numb, cannot even frown.
Wave of emotions comes gushing out my heart,
As though the heaven is ripping apart.

The wagon is here and you'll be carried away,
And I, a storm, left alone to stray.
Moments grow into memories, nostalgia overtakes
Wait a little, I have few promises to make
I was a book, locked in oblivion fame,
Chapters skipped but pen still bled your name.
Wish I could travel back through time,
Collect the primrose moments, summer sunshine.
I was a poisoned chaos of thoughts, you my antidote of agony,
You left the wizardy portal for me to venture in harmony.

No more an incognito, you have set me free,
Sister, you my inspiration will forever be.
