بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمانِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ الْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا ~١~

When the earth is shaken with its [final] earthquake ~1~

وَأَخْرَجَتِ الْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا ~٢~

And the earth discharges its burdens ~2~

وَقَالَ الْإِنسَانُ مَا لَهَا ~٣~

And man says, "What is [wrong] with it?" - ~3~

يَوْمَئِذٍ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا ~٤~

That Day, it will report its news ~4~

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا ~٥~

Because your Lord has commanded it. ~5~

يَوْمَئِذٍ يَصْدُرُ النَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًا لِّيُرَوْا أَعْمَالَهُمْ ~٦~

That Day, the people will depart separated [into categories] to be shown [the result of] their deeds. ~6~

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًا يَرَهُ ~٧~

So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it, ~7~

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ شَرًّا يَرَهُ ~٨~

And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it. ~8~
