بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمانِ الرَّحِيمِ

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

أَرَأَيْتَ الَّذِي يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّينِ ~١~

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense? ~1~

 فَذَٰلِكَ الَّذِي يَدُعُّ الْيَتِيمَ ~٢~

For that is the one who drives away the orphan ~2~

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلَىٰ طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ ~٣~

And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. ~3~

 فَوَيْلٌ لِّلْمُصَلِّينَ ~٤~

So woe to those who pray ~4~

الَّذِينَ هُمْ عَن صَلَاتِهِمْ سَاهُونَ ~٥~

[But] who are heedless of their prayer - ~5~

الَّذِينَ هُمْ يُرَاءُونَ ~٦~

Those who make show [of their deeds] ~6~

وَيَمْنَعُونَ الْمَاعُونَ ~٧~

And withhold [simple] assistance. ~7~
