The next morning, i felt something unusual... Something that tells me that a strange heavy object was placed above me... Its not that heavy but its... Sorta heavy..

"Ugh..."i turned around to see Joy glaring at me and putting up the letter I gave her.

She chuckled and goes back to her furiously vicious expression,"Hey Mister! Why on earth didn't you do your project?!"

I gulp and stammered, not knowing the words to say to my lawfully, angry best friend,"I,I a,about that... I,I forgot... To do it..."

She then placed my materials on her table and said:"How practical for you to forget a project that's due is today! I won't do YOUR project cuz its called...CHEATING!!!"

She really shouted the word Cheating huh...

I then smiled at her and replied:"its not called Cheating genius... If you're really a genius... You would know the difference between 'Best friends with Benefits' and... Whats that word again?... Ah!'Cheating'.."

I look at her eyes, trying to convince her to do my project.

"I will never be the one who is becoming a slave to a Worthless brat like you"she replied while smiling at me... Creepily..

WHAT did she call me?... A worthless brat? What a hurtful words to say my friend...

I chuckled, trying to swallow up the embarrassing words she told me,"E,excuse me? You know you cant just shout at me like that.. Haha... Who knows... Maybe i'll do it... Just take a leap of faith my friend,"i wrap my arms around her and continued,"You will see the world as bright as the sun when you believe in me..."

She step away from me, removing my arms around her and saying,"haha... If i keep looking at the bright sun when i suddenly believe in you... I think i'll be blinded by its 'majestic' beauty... You are such a great student Christopher!"

She intentionally says everything with a Sarcasm tone... Well yeah its obvious she is being Sarcastic... But, WHY?! why doesn't she trust me!!

"Listen closely Chris... In case you're wondering... I will never take this leap of faith...  Because you are hard to believe in mister."then she tap my right cheek softly three times and said,"...you never pass any projects at all... Maybe only twice a year... And still.. You have no place for complacency... Not to mention you are always one of the stubborn person in the room"

She seems like she is insulting me! I didn't have a secret sleepover here for humiliation! I sleep here so she could do MY project...

"Are you insulting me?"i asked her.

As she raised an eyebrow and peer at me..."Not really... Im just trying to make you understand, that you will never get a higher grades when you didn't study well."

"WHAT WILL I DO WITH GRADES? Do i eat grades?! I dont! You just earn grades so you can reach fame!"I shouted while i frowned and took my towel and uniform out of my bag.

"And doesn't joining in with the cool kids DOES allow you to reach fame?"Joy glared at me while she toss the powder at me.

I suddenly realized that... Yeah... Im the one who wanted to reach fame.. Or not? I really dont want to reach fame in the first place... I just want my parents to be proud of me... Now im being such a jerk..

"Whatever... Im never gonna do that project..."i walk into her bathroom outside but she followed me.

Joy look at me worried..."Chris... You have like visited the Principal a million of times... I mean im just exaggerating... But Chris... You may be famous because of your band... But your parents aren't proud of you! And i myself isn't! You can't just do those things and forget your project! And other than that... You sneak in to my house to sleep?!"

"Just leave... Were gonna be late.." As i wa about to Close the door of the bathroom again, she stop it and pout at me,"come on!"

i pushed the door much harder and locked it..

"YOU FORGOT YOUR TOWEL!"She exlaimed.

Uh great... Just take a bath! You still have your clothes..

I then opened her... Uhhh... Shower and heat it up a little. Alrighty!!

I took off my clothes and saw that her soaps,all smell.. So good...

"WAHH WHICH ONE SHOULD I USE?! The green one?!"I picked up the green soap and smell it.. Yah!!! It smells like apple!

I use the soap and then head for the shampoo... Shampoo??... It smells amazing! Like a tremendous strawberry marching around me an asking me to smell them!!!

I then used her shampoo and then rinse off.

"Now how can i get out of the bathroom.."i took my clothes and wrap it around me so Joy wont be seeing me like this...

Then i found my towel hanging on the door so i just wrap it around me instead..

"hah.. Thank you!"i shouted

And as i look around, i saw Joy putting the last button of her uniform on.

"Oh thank goodness!"her eyes widened as she saw me and ran outside and then smiled at me,"Hurry up!"

I took my uniform,wear it and rolled my eyes..

As i look down the window... I saw Mom shouting at me,"COME BACK HERE YOUNG MAN!!!"

My hearts stars beating faster and faster, until i have no choice but to run to Joy and take my bag and... Headed for The Back door...

"Why are we heading here? You know that the school is much..."she then grinned at me, knowing that im in a big trouble when we headed for the front door

I sighed and then look at her,"my mom is waiting for me outside... And i dont want my MOM to caught me!!! She's gonna kill me!"

I then glared at her after i said those words, realizing that is practically OKAY,"Shouldn't you be resting out there? Dont you have any cold? Dont you have any of this what so called Trypophobia? I mean..."

She laugh and tap my shoulders,"im fine... What you should worry was yourself... You won't pass your project... And... You are being chased by your mom...AGAIN! You know you're making my place a Criminal's hideout."

My eyes widened and frowned,"A Criminal's Hideout?!"

She smiled at me and stick her tongue out,"not literally a criminal's hideout... But a Cheater's hideout..."

I wanna push her to the depths of the oceans... But she's my best friend! I cant just push her to an ocean...LITERALLY!

I raised my fist up to punch her but i run a bit farther to her and growled,"I hate you!"

She chuckled and run so she could catch up,"oh i feel you..."

She run her fingers across my shoulders and picked up a paper... Inside my uniform

"DEAR JACKIE..."She started a i snatched the paper at her hands and tore it apart.

She glared at me and started laughing,"Hahaha! That was the Answer keys you tore apart.."

Th,the answer keys?! Sh,she..."Thats not an ans,anse...answer key!!!"

She chuckled and slap me softly,"Cheater..."then she kept on walking, not minding me...

i almost wanted to explode!!,"I'LL PROVE IT!I'LL PROVE TO YOU THAT I CAN PASS ANY QUIZ WITHOUT THAT ANSWER KEYS..I,I mean... Cheating!..Ughh.."

She turn to me and smiled,"im not listening...  Lalala.."

I frowned and I just followed Joy to class..

As we separated rooms, i look at the time and realize that this monday... The subject is Science instead of Mathematics...

"Did you review Quantum?"Todd asked as he smiled at me proudly.

"Oh you bet... I,I guess..."I look down and sighed.

Todd grinned and stood in front of me,"listen... You'll never win against my band Quantum... You're a loser... And a Cheater... Other than that... No one likes a Cheater..."he untuned my guitar. Making me stood up and glare at him.

"TAKE BACK WHAT YOU SAID!"I shouted as I raised my fist up at him

He then walked back and forth,the students looking at both of us."Fight!" They all shouted.

"Oh hoho! You want a fight? Lets have a fight! Lets see.. Trash talk... You know how cute your best friend is?"

My eyes widened, making myself get ready for the next words he's gonna say

"And sometimes i want some of her..."he continued, making me push him onto the wall and grasping my hands to his collar

"DONT YOU EVER PLAN ON DOING SOMETHING ON MY BEST FRIEND! He's not yours! She doesn't even like you! You're a worthless obssess guy!"i punch him so hard, making his lips bleed.

"Oh Quantum.. If only you knew..."he punched me and kicked me to the ground.

I hold my head and tried to recover... But Todd gripped my collar, making it hard to breath.

I look at Janice who is just looking at me with wide eyes.

"Sh,sh,shut up..."I said while smiling at him.

He raised an eyebrow,"Joy is cute.. And she is MINE!"

I chuckled weakly,"I w,wont let her... Be with a freak... L,like you..."

He then punched me against and pushed me onto the books that are stacked.

And as Todd was about to punch me again,Joy entered the room,making her books fall onto he arms as she covered her mouth with her hands...

"WHAT ARE YOU GUYS DOING?!"She shouted as she glared at both of us

"J,Joy! This isn't what you're thinking.."Todd started

She then looked at me and left,"im gonna tell this to the principal... And Chris.. Go to the clinic by yourself!"

I stood up and tried to catch up with her while my hands are resting on my stomach

"J,Joy..."i whispered to her

She stopped and hugged me,"are you okay? You know i just played games haha! By the way? Why in the world did Todd punched you?"

I gasped and sighed and... Forget it,"he like you so much he wanted to.."

Joy smiled at me and pinch my cheeks,"Im gonna be fine Chris! Worry about yourself... By the way... You have a band practice right?... You can do it.. And by the way.... Still...PROVE IT..."

She then accompanied me to the clinic, and i just focused on her face... She's something...

"Uh.. Why are you looking on my face? Is there a dirt on it?"her face slowly became red and then let go of me

I shook my head and laugh,"no,no! Haha.. Its nothing.. Its just that.. I never knew how cute you really are."

Her eyes widened and look at me straight in the eye. Im being honest, she does look cute."Th,thank you??.. Uh.. Uh.. I have to go.. Ms. Emma is waiting for me.."

She ran off and left,"oh Chris. What happened? On for a fight again?"Nurse Trina Said

I nodded and sighed,"Todd almost killed me! He's so obssessed with Joy... I mean...literally..i tried to devise some stuffs so he could stop bothering my best friend.. But he really wanna get close to her.."

She then smiled at me and chuckled,"i heard you have a crush on Jackie.. Dont you have any little..TINY..Feelings for Joy? Even a little??"

I then think for a moment and nodded slowly,"a little... I've been with her a couple of year already.. Who wouldn't have special feelings for her?"i explained.

Yeah, its sorta obvious that i have feelings for her the moment i talked to her... Its just that, i always denied it. Well the thing is im not lile Todd who is obssessed over Joy.. I mean.. Normal.. Crush.. A crush whom you kept it as a secret.. But everytime i see Jackie..my world turned around and i focused on Jackie again... My heart is confused because of the devastation i had... I am greatly overwhelmed by Todd.. I mean.. Ugh.. He's also the reason why i denied everything

"You're fond of Joy aren't you?"A voice of a guy said

"MITCH!Ah!! Haha.. Mitch.."my eyes widened as i realized that he heard our conversation.

I Sighed and said,"look guys... Im confused... I dont know whom shall i like! Joy or Jackie,Joy or Jackie.. I mean... I only have little feelings for Joy. Cuz she's such a cold-hearted sometimes.."

Mitch raised his hands,"oh oh! Go with Janice! So all your crushes started with J!"

I glared at him and then look back at nurse Trina,"Just follow your heart Chris.. Follow what it says..."

I look at Nurse Trina and then nodded,"I think im too young for Love... But i think i'll go with Crushes first instead of what they called,'in a relationship'" we chuckled and laugh.

"Bro, its time for the band practice.. And to also prove Joy... Something..."Mitch said

Nurse Trina then listed my name on her notepad,"nothing's really wrong with you... Just a few bruises and scars.. But that'll be fine. Be careful on the stage haha."

Mitch then pulled me out of the room and to the Theatre.

"Oh Mitch.. About the Prove it thing.. I think i'll hold that for a while..."i smiled at him and then he pulled me to the stage.

I saw Ivan,Josh, and Shaun, arranging the Drum kits and tuning up their guitar,"Wh,where's Jessica?"

Shaun shrugs and pointed over at Ivan,"Oh Jessica.. She said she gave up on being a Vocalist. I mean, she says being a Vocalist sucks."

I then raised an eyebrow and thought for a moment.. Well yeah,Being a Vocalist sucks haha!

"Hey Chris!"that voice..

"J,Jackie! You, why,why are you here?!"My eye widened, making me wanna hug her and thank he for coming.

"Bro... You like Jackie more than Joy.."Mitch whispered

I nodded while grinning,"i just wanna tell you Chris.. That Daniel. Ya know..Daniel Rickford... Is tryna beat your band. Like... Ohh and...Ahh.. I heard Daniel is Joy's crush.. How practical.."

My happiness fades away as i realized that... Jackie knew?

"Daniel Rickford told me... Joy is something.. Sometimes Daniel heard her singing.. And he told me her voice is really angelic.. Maybe you should ask her to be your vocalist..."Jackie continued

I then gave her the reaction'What di you mean?' Thingy,"Uh what? This is a rock band.. Not a Pop band!"

Jackie chuckled and said,"well yeah.. But she sang Somewhere in Neverland last time.."

She look at us surprised and fake a laugh,"o,oh.. I see that you guys are having a band practice.. Hello! My name is Mari from Section 1 Grade 8."

I glared at him and sighed,"lets just start"

Mari then pouts and left.

"SOMETHING'S GOTTA GIVE!! OHHHHHHH!!!WAKE ME UPPPPP SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!!IM DYING TO LIIIIVVVEEEE"my bandmates stops as i kept on shouting at the microphone

They all glared at me,"ya know it hurts right?!"Josh shouted

After the practice, is exactly our break time. Where Joy will smack me with her book again...

"Hey Quantum!!"Todd laughed and pushed me as he passed by,"Joy is mine!!"

I mean how many times did he said,'Joy is Mine' for the whole year?

After a long wait at the entrance of the Theatre,she finally arrived.

"You must have skipped alot of quizzes today mister? I think you lost... But... Are you okay now?"she asked as she kept on tapping my cheeks

I hold her wrist and put it down,"Im fine Joy, and yes... I confess... I am a cheater... I lost..."

She smiled at me and chuckled,"no you didn't lose! You won... You actually prove to me that you are a true friend i can count on... Even if it's true that you have ALMOST cheated, you still didn't!"

I look down and then look back at her,straight in the eye,"im a cheater Joy... And im such a boastful and stubborn little brat... Im worthless.."

Joy look at me and place her hand on my shoulder,"You're not worthless Chris.. I may have exaggerated everything i have said about you, but Chris.. You're not worthless... You gave me happiness Chris, and since the time i met you, i know there is one friend i can count on... And that's you.."

I then smiled back at her and replied:"thank you so much.."

Then after the conversation, we headed to the cafeteria to buy some foods ya know..

Anyway, this day can't get any better! I have received alot of advices haha!

"Anyway, so, i haven't ask you this... But.. Have you ever tried Talking to...Daniel?"i started

She shrugged and drink some of her juice,"well yeah i guess.. He never talked to me though.. Cuz he doesn't like girls like me.."

I then hold her hand and said,"can you join my band as a Vocalist? I mean Daniel.. Heard your singing and said he liked it.."

Her eyes widened, making her blushed,"D,Daniel?! A,ah.. O,of course i'll join your band! It means the world to me if Daniel noticed me!! And by the way.. I still have to keep on studying... S,so... B,bye!"

What the? She just came with me! I mean seriously?

I sighed and then keep on eating, until Todd and his friends sat on my table and laugh at me.

"Look! Its Mr. Loner.. Loser like you dont belong here.."he pushed the plate filled with spaghetti, making the spaghett scatter on my pants and some parts of my top.

"Oops.. Sorry! I didn't mean it! Haha!"Todd said

Then one of HIS friend poured the glass of Water on me

i didn't talk.. I just sat there doing nothing.. I just let them do this to me so i could be humiliated..its kinda annoying.. The other students joined Todd as they laugh together...

Until Jackie step in, wiping up the mess they made..

"Jackie? What are you doing here?"i asked her as i hold her wrist

She smiled at me and said,"i hear you're being bullied by these guys.. Now im here to teach them a lesson..."

She's just like Joy..

I look at her, push the boys out and then gave me some spare uniforms,"dont let them humiliate you in front of alot of students..."

Then she left as she gave me the uniform...

I look away and sighed,"im a weakling..."

Then suddenly,Mitch and Jay arrived,looking at me surprised.."what happened to ya bro?!"Mitch said

Jay chuckled and said,"got bullied again by Todd?"

I nodded and then pout,"that stupid Todd keeps on bullying me!!!"

Mitch then look at me closely,"its because he's OBSSESSED with JOY!!"

I pushed him lightly and replied:"i know Mitch! He is obssessed.. VERY obssessed...."

I growled and look At Todd giggling around..

"Lets talk about this next time.."

After Class, I headed back home, and just sat down on my computer..

"Gizmo... How can you explain to someone that 'she dont love you'?"i said as i type in the words i said

Gizmo then smiled at me and said,"well you can't really explain it to them, its them who finds it out for themselves.. If he's obssessed.. You can't really stop him from doing anything to get his dream girl..."

I suddenly thought a really great idea.. MARI!!!

Anyway, i got home late so i hafta sleep! Which is practically boring.. So. Whatever.. Goodnight..
