What happened yesterday?

That's odd... I thought we did something yesterday.. Nah.. Never mind.. Maybe it's better if I don't remember what happened yesterday...

"Joy! Wake up..."Why is she sleeping on top of her science book?

"Yeah? Yes... Ugh..."Joy rubbed her eyes and look around,"why am I at your house..."

"I don't know. Don't you remember anything that happened yesterday?"I asked her. Confused about what's happening right now...

"Nope... Not at all.. Ahh... Where's Superbook..."Joy stood up and take her clothes from her bag... Why is her bag here?

"Enough with the questions..."Superbook said annoyed...

"Oh hey Superbook!! What happened yesterday?"I asked him.

"No idea..."He said calmly...

"Okay... Now... I'm gonna eat breakfast... Come on Joy..."I turned to Joy and she just smiled at me.

"No.. I'm good.. You eat first..."Joy replied...

"O—"I stopped when I remembered that Gizmo was a robot!! He may remember something that happened yesterday!!

"Gizmo!"I turned Gizmo on and his screen blink a little, revealing his face, yawning...

"Morning Chris...What happened..."Don't tell me he doesn't remember anything too?

I crossed my arms and look at him,"don't you remember anything yesterday?"

"Yesterday?... Hmm.. No idea!"Gizmo replied

I then noticed a strange file installed on his memory.

"Did I told you to download this Language translation file?"I asked him,scratching my head as I examine him.

Gizmo smiled and replied,"maybe you did? You just don't remember..."then he look up,"neither do I remember anything..."

I smirked and then headed down,"alright..."

"Morning Chris..."Mom said as he placed a shopping bag on the table."how did you sleep??"

"Very well...... Uhm.. Where's the food?"I searched the table for food but I found none....

Then,mom snapped out of reality,"what?! Oh no! I forgot to cook food!"

I facepalmed and glared at mom,"you...forgot to Cook food..."

"Oh sorry Chris... But I think it'll take me a while before I can cook it..."mom explained.

I rolled my eyes and headed back upstairs.

"What happened? Why are you so grumpy afterwards?"Joy asked, skimming around her Science book.

"Mom forgot to cook..."I frowned and sat down at my bed.

Joy and Gizmo laughed and cleared their throat as I glared at them.

Why are they laughing! Aren't they hungry?! How are they not experiencing the Pain I experienced when I'm hungry?!

"Anyone off to an adventure?!"Superbook suddenly shouted...

Creating an awkward silence...

"Ehem.."Joy cleared her throat..the only sound heard..

"Oh... Uhmm... Anyone??"Superbook repeats.

"What for?"I asked.

"So we could eat at the past. Eating lamb and bitter herbs..."Gizmo explained.

"Oh not really.. If you're on to action then this time would be better... Since your mom is gonna cook real slow.. I decided that you pick the time of your adventure from your past references..."Superbook replied with the book hovering above the device,then pages of Places from our adventures were projected from the book.

"Hmm...Is this The final battle?"I said as I zoomed the place in,seeing swords and a place in a complete drought.

"Obviously..ohh!! Superbook!! Is that the time where we Met John the Baptist?"Joy then scrolled on that place...the inner court of Herod's palace...

"Or is that Queen Esther's banquet??"Gizmo scrolled over to a place where the view was inside a castle too...

"Each of you will get to pick one place,3 hours will pass, except for the present time.. Which means.. For every place you visit.. You have 1 hour, you can always ask me to teleport you... Except if somebody's looking.."Superbook Explained..

I shrugged and smiled,"sounds fun! How does it work?"

"Just scroll on to your selected Time,and zoom In until you reached the limit!"I smiled

And Move first!

"LETS GO TO THE FINAL BATTLE!!!"I quickly zoomed in,making us Hover up the ground, and to the vortex!

"Why didn't you let me pick first! That place is dangerous!!"Joy shouted as she elbowed me and avoid my glances.

"Oh... That's very sweet of you to care for me..."I smiled,looking at her seductively.

She smirked and frowned,"That face of you Stinks"

What?!?! I don't stink! I'm handsome!... Or does she mean I smell bad?

Then we landed... On that drought place.

"I was hoping Satan won't appear..."Joy said,hugging herself, you could say. That it's real cold here..

"Well since you told me I stink.. I hope Satan took you with him!!"I crossed my arms and walk away with Gizmo, as Joy stay,glaring at me.

"WHAT?! You want Satan to take me just because I told you.. You stink? That's really a crazy excuse... I would rather die because I said that.. Than Satan taking me with him!!"Joy shouted. Echoing at the place...

We're like 10 meters away from her...

"Superbook.. Teleport us except for Joy.."I requested,giving Joy a smirk..

"What?!?! You can't just.."she run over to us but.."CHRIS!!! Don't leave me here!!Gizmo!!"

We were teleported to Heaven..

"Uhmm.. This is the place where Joy and I was When you were down at earth.."Gizmo explained..

"Now it's the opposite..it's you and me up here.. And Joy down there.."I walk down the gold hallway,beautiful as it is... Until...

"Don't you wanna know what's happening down there? Joy could be in a complete danger... Put yourself on her shoes.."Gizmo said..

Then I daydreamed..

"Chris!! Why did they leave me here!"Joy said as she kept on walking around..

"Hello.. Are you lost?"an angel suddenly landed..

"Who are you?"....

Then I snapped out to Reality..

"OH NO!! We have to get back to Joy!!!"I shouted, requesting Superbook to bring us back to earth.

Then as we teleported,We lost sight of Joy.

"Now look what you have done."Gizmo glared at me...

I sighed and mess my hair up.."this is all my fault!!!!"

"Yes it is!!"Gizmo shouted

I look at him angrily,"you're not helping!"

Then, I saw a girl, lying on the ground,her body wrapped in thorns.

"Who is that..."I walk closer to the girl and saw her face..

Joy??

"Gizmo!!!"I called, as Gizmo rushed in with a gasped.

"Oh no... We have to untangle those thorns!"Gizmo took out a scissor, but as he cut the thorns, it goes back the way it is...

"Joy! Can you hear me?"I tap her cheeks lightly.. She seems okay.. But her body is wrapped in thorns..

"... He is such a careless guy..."Joy whispered...

Oh Joy I'm sorry!!"Joy.. Please forgive me..."

I can't hug her because her body is wrapped in thorns. I might get hurt haha...

Then I heard a flap of wings... Someone held my shoulders...

"Uh.. Ch,Chris..."Gizmo looked frightened...

"Well... Well... Look who's back..."Satan suddenly smirks...

I,I can't teleport when somebody's looking.. I have to wait for an hour to pass!!

"I'll save you!"Gizmo shouted,moving in front of Satan...

And then he transformed as a demon again..

"Or save yourself!!!"Gizmo pushed me in front of Satan...

"Why did you do that to her?!"I glared at him... Making him laugh and chuckle..

Satan step a bit closer to me and said,"hmm hmm hmm... I insist to give her a really good sleep.. A sleep that is slowly killing her..."

"Killing her?!"Gizmo shouted,making him panic and Cut the Thorns even more...

But it just doesn't work...

"What will I do then?"I look down and sighed...

"Oh you just have to eat this fruit from this tree..."Satan grow a tree with a shiny pink Apple.

"So you want me to eat that?..."I smiled and walk closer to the apple... As I take hold of the Apple... The Thorn goes away... Slowly...

Ahh!!! I got it!!! Haha.... Plan... Start..

"Chris no!!"Gizmo shouted as I took a bite of the Apple...

I smiled at Satan as the Thorns were completely gone...

"Now.. How do you feel?"Satan asked...

"Chris..."I smirked at Gizmo, and spit that disgusting fruit out of my mouth.

I pulled Joy up and wake her up..

"Ugh.. Where am I..."Joy asked...

"Satan look!! An angel!!"I pointed up the sky...

And as he look around..

I ask Superbook to take us back home...

I sat down at my bed and look at Joy worriedly,"Joy... Im sorry if I ever led you to this kind of danger.. This is all my fault..."

"That's okay.. Uhmm. Let's try the time of John the Baptist then?"Joy replied...

"Okay..."Then,Superbook took us in the inner court... The exact place where we try to sneak in with Gizmo's grappling hook...

Gizmo then look around for guards,"I hope there are no soldiers around here to run after us!!"

"O,of course... John! We have to see him and stop the execution!"I shouted silently.

"Chris we can't change the past... I'm pretty sure Superbook told us that before when we first found him?"Joy explained...

"I guess so..."I sighed.. When suddenly... A soldier hold our shoulders.. Joy and I remained shocked...

"I guess we won't get to run this time..."I whispered.

"I overheard you kids talking about John the baptizer.. And I'm guessing you three know him..."the Soldier said as he look at both of us.

Gizmo was caught by the other guard...

"Yes... And please... Let us go..."Joy shouted as she glared at the soldier.

"I can't believe you still have the guts to shout at me like that... And I don't care even if I hurt a girl like you!"the soldier said.

My eyes widened, so I just step at the soldier's foot, letting us go.

"Everyone...RUN!!!"I ordered as we run down the hallway.

"You! Get them!! Don't let those children get away!! They are friends with the baptizer!"The soldier ordered, then.. They both run after us..

But we now... Accidentally... Entered... The banquet which was prepared inside the king's court... Salome stopped dancing as she saw the three of us..

"Uhmm wrong room! excuse us!"Joy pulled Gizmo and I out of the room..

"Mother... Who are those children?"Salome said with a calm voice.

"They must be friends with the baptizer.. Which means they are also a follower!! Herod! Do something!"Herodias shouted.

"What shall we do? We can't teleport yet... They can see us..."Gizmo said.

"Oh for goodness sake.. Like they have more guards out there!"I shouted.

Then suddenly... We're surrounded...

"Don't say anything like that.. Opposite things happen!!"Joy glared at me as we move far from the guards.

"Guys... Can't we teleport..."Gizmo said... Trembling and hiding behind us

"I thought you were designed to protect us!"Joy said

"Well yeah.. I was design to protect you.. But not In these.. These Biblical time where I have to protect you from guards with swords!!!"Gizmo shouted,Pushing us much closer to the guards.

Then, the other guard took my arms and tied me in chains. And so does Joy and Gizmo...

"Please don't kill us!!"Gizmo cried out.

The Soldier Guard whatever I call him... Push us inside a jail room, dark.. And torches are the only source of light...

Then 3 guards came to Look after us.. Or maybe get ready to kill us...

"Gizmo.. Can you get your hands off of this chain?"Joy whispered to Gizmo as she tried to shake off the chains on her wrist.

"I could try... But I can't move my hands a bit!!"Gizmo replied.

"Oh you guys... These are chains! Not a rope! If it's a rope, a simple sharp stone can tore it apart!"I said annoyingly...

"You three! Be quiet!!!"The soldier shouted.

We remained silent.. Until we heard voices of King Herod.. He seems to approach at our room heh..

"Children.."King Herod look at us..."young followers of John..."

"K,King Herod.. I know you do not want to do this.. Nor kill John the Baptizer... And it's only your wife's will because you Beheaded him... But please... Spare His life and ours... And we shall do anything you ask.. Well except for John... .."Joy explained

"Didn't you just said that we can change the past?!"I elbowed her..

She suddenly look down and avoid my glances,"o,oh.."

Then..King Herod sighed,"Even though it's my wife's will.. My reputation will go down..."

"Sire! Don't listen to these children! They are followers of John! They'll do anything to get out..."One of the guards said...

"...... Very well... You three... Be ready for.... Your... Execution after John..."Then he left silently..

"EXECUTION?!?! Oh no!! We have to get out of this place!!!!"Gizmo shouted as he tried to break the chains.

"Well you can do the trick you did at Satan... Except that you won't say Angels.. But 'followers of John who have escaped'"Joy said..

"Guess we have to wait... I can't take seeing John's head on a silver platter either..."I look at the torch and sigh...

After a few moments...

"You three!! Come up here!"The soldier said.

"How can we move if our hands are all Tied together in one chain?"Gizmo complained..

"Ugh fine! It's your execution time by the way so maybe my sins will be washed away when I did something good..."The soldier said.

Then he brought us... To.. A.. Really.. Creepy.. Place..

"I DONT WANT MY HEAD TO BE CHOPPED THERE!! Chris! Joy!! Let's goooooo!!!!"Gizmo shouted,trying to run away...

"I guess this is the end... I will miss you Chris..Gizmo.."Joy said..

"Me too.. I will miss all of you... Even you soldier!!"I replied..

"Let us go!!! Wahhhhh!!"Gizmo tried to run away again...

"Joy... I'm not sure if I could ever do that plan... But please.. Forgive me for what I have done!"I said,acting things up...

"I forgive you.. For now... Our heads are stuck in this.. These gallows..."Joy replied..

"Good thing it's just breaking of neck... Not a chop chop board..."Gizmo said.

"You three are lucky to have this kind of execution... Not like John..."the soldier replied...

"Well we never really wanted execution.."Joy said as the Soldier Arranged the rope hanging...

"You're going first Kid.."The soldier look at me...

"Uhmm... O,okay.."I step closer at the rope... With the chair shaking...

Wow.. I never expected this to be that intense... Even though I knew that we could escape here... The chances are small...

And if ever we wanna go back home.. We have to finish one hour. Wait.. We still have 1 more minute!!

My head is already resting on the rope eh...

"Chris......"Joy whispered...

"We have 1 more minute Joy before automatic teleportation even though people are around..."I replied...then I continued:"let's entertain them!!"

"Please! Give me one more minute... Or I prefer... Give us one more minute to say goodbye to each other..."I pleaded...

"Ughh... Fine!!!"We then step out of the chairs,hugging each other... But the truth is...

We're whispering our plans...

"We have to do something... 30 seconds.. And they'll go boom... They'll push us on an early execution..."I explained..

"Let's count..."Gizmo suggested..

"That's too obvious!!..."Joy shouted..

"Guys... 20 more seconds.."I whispered..

"No! Are they ghosts?!"The other soldier said..

"Or must be Angels!!"The other soldier then shouted

"What's hap—..oh dear.."King Herod looked at us surprised.

Joy smirked and said,"we're so sorry if we can't attend Execution.. But we have to go back to our place now... Bye guys!"

Then we disappeared

Teleporting back at my room..

"Finally!! Enough with executions!!!... Let's go to queen Esther!!!"Gizmo shouted...

Then I elbowed him and said,"that time has also execution... Hanging by gallows??"

"Wh,who cares? We became friends with the queen and with that... Guy... We will have no execution... We're completely safe!!"Gizmo explained.

"If you say so.. I was hoping that Joy and I won't get separated ever again... It's actually weird cuz we were asked to work in a... Carriage wash session.. Instead of car wash!!"I shouted while crossing my arms...

Then,Gizmo zoomed in at the place and we landed on the exact place where Joy and I were separated.

"Guys.. I think it's better if we do the exact thing we do? Tip toe... And got caught and were put to work... Except Joy... Guess she e—"Gizmo stopped when that guy instruct Hatach to bring us back to the Servant world and Joy to the Royalty world...

"H,hey! Isn't it unfair for the girl to have a special treatment?!"I complained while he pushed me in front of a carriage.. Chariot...

"That's because boys like you have a perfect job for cleaning chariots! Now work!"The man gave us some brush...

"Gizmo.. Again..."I rolled my eyes and cleaned the chariots.

As we all finish cleaning the chariots.. I ask Superbook to teleport us inside the room where Joy was...

And I saw her wearing a crown.. And she looks so beautiful... I,I mean by means of beautiful in a friendly manner...

"You look at her so much.. Try to look at me!!"Gizmo kept on snapping his metallic finger.

"Oh oh.. Sorry Gizmo.. I really can't take it... She's so beautiful..."I'm so overwhelmed... I'm so astounded... But nah.. She's just my friend... I don't understand my feelings for her either... And besides... Sh,she really is just my friend...

"Yiee.. Don't deny it.. She's your crush! And not Jackie!"Gizmo elbowed me

I heard Joy's voice as she tried to call for our name... She then disappeared somewhere...

And I walk on my left side... Surprising to See Joy.. So close... Our face are so close...

"Oh..ah..uhm.."I started..

Her eyes widened... Shocked.... Making the crown fall from her head..

"Wh,what are you guys doing here?"Joy asked...

"Well I see that you're enjoying your day.. But we didn't mean to ruin it Princess Joy!"I glared at her and crossed my arms...

Then she pulled Us in front of Queen Esther.

"What? Why are They here? This is the women's quarters.. And... They aren't allowed here..."Queen Esther said...

Joy gave her the crown back..

But then...

"I'm so sorry Queen Esther... But they are my friends... And I want you to meet them... And actually.. They are the one who broke your silver platter..."Joy chuckled and glared at both of us.

"Well sorry.. We didn't knew that silver platter was just painted and instead.. It's a glass..."Gizmo complained while crossing his arms...

"Hahaha... You two are welcome... But when somebody sees you.. Other than me and Hatach... I am not sure what will happen after that..."she sighed and look at the window,"My cousin... Why is he wearing... Sack cloth and ashes?"

"He must be grieving... For something... But... I heard that Haman was plotting something against Your Cousin..Mordecai."Joy explained.

"How do you know that?"Queen Esther asked in surprise..

"...lucky guess??"She shrugged and walk beside me...

"Hehe..."I whispered to her and smirked...

"...I can't even confront King Xerxes after then...when I do... I will die... Unless he held out his golden scepter... I'll live... But that's not for sure..."Queen Esther sat at her luxurious bed... And continued,"it's like the odd is down to us... But yet I know... That the Lord is with us... Even if the time come..."

"Queen Esther... I'm guessing... You're not a Persian.. But a Hebrew..."Gizmo said

"Why did you add Guessing? You're a robot! You should know that by info scan!!"I whispered to him

"Yes... Yes i am.. My real name is Hadassah... I'm a Hebrew.. And my Cousin Mordecai raised me like his own daughter..."Queen Esther said...

Haven't heard this story yet since Joy is the one inside here!

"Queen Esther!"Hatach suddenly rushed inside to give a letter to the queen.

"What?... So this is the reason why my cousin is grieving... Haman must have plotted this! Someone must tell the king!"Queen Esther ordered.. But Hatach explained everything...

Queen Esther sighed and look at the three of us..."You should take a rest... Tomorrow... Will be a big day... I will try to talk to the king... And if he held out his golden scepter... I live... If not... I die...... Now follow Hatach to your room..."Queen Esther said...

"Gizmo.. How long are we here?"Joy asked.

"Approximately 30 mins. We can ask Superbook for a time skip.."Gizmo explained.

Then we both nodded and we were taken forward in time... Inside the room where Queen Esther asked us to stay...

"Where is Queen Esther?"Gizmo asked.

"She must be going to present herself to the king! Let's hurry!"Joy shouted as we rush out..

But we stopped...

"We can just ask Superbook to teleport us there right?!"I complained.

"O,oh yeah.."Gizmo said...

While Joy look around and sighed.

We then teleported in the front door of the King's throne room...

"You think she'll be fine?"I asked.

"Didn't we travel back here already and everything went good?"Joy said.

"Uhh yeah... Haha.. Oh come on let's just watch!"I said

Then when Queen Esther was already in front of the king...

We waited for a few moments...

And the king held out his scepter...

What a relief...

"I told you everything will be fine!"Joy smirked as she elbowed me and Giz...

"Why can't I enjoy this! I picked this time!"Gizmo shouted.

"Be quiet Gizmo!"I covered his mouth and continued watching them.

"If it pleases the king... I would like you and Haman to attend the banquet which I have prepared..."Queen Esther said.

"Well what a great idea my queen!.."The King smiled at Queen Esther and then...

Joy asked Superbook to take us forward in time.

Then we were sent back at that giant curtain...

And saw Queen Esther,Haman, and King Xerxes...

"Good thing you guys don't smell like a horse anymore..."Joy said.

"Well that's BECAUSE... We didn't do much on the horse... Or we didn't touch any horse by the way.."Gizmo explained...

"Tell me what you want,Queen Esther. What is your request? I will give it to you, even if it is half the kingdom!"The King stated.

I then raised as eyebrow and said,"The king must have loved Queen Esther truthfully..."

Queen Esther then replied,"If I have found favor with the king, and if it pleases the king to grant my request, I ask that my life an lives of my people will be spared."

Then she continued,"For my people and I have been sold to those who would kill,slaughter and annihilate us. If we had merely been sold as slaves, I could remain quiet, for that would be too trivial a matter to warrant disturbing the king."

"Who would do such a thing?!"King Xerxes demanded,"who would be so presumptuous as to touch you?"

"What an anger.."Gizmo said...

Then The Queen replied,"This wicked Haman is our adversary and our enemy."

Haman grew pale with fright before the king and queen.

Then the king jumped to his feet in a rage and went out into the palace garden. Haman however, stayed behind to plead for his life with Queen Esther, for he knew that the king intended to kill him.

In despair, he fell on the couch where Queen Esther was reclining, just as the king was returning from the palace garden.

"Will he even assault the Queen in the palace before my very own eyes?!"king Xerxes exclaimed.

And as soon as the king spoke, his attendants covered Haman's face, signaling his doom...

Then Harbona, one of the king's eunuchs, said,"Haman has set up a sharpened pole that stands 75 feet tall in his own courtyard. He intended to impale Mordecai, the man who saved the king from assassination."

"Then impale Haman on it!"The king ordered.

"Uh oh.. Let's go back!"Gizmo shouted..

"We're almost done.. I can see the Sparks.."Joy said...

I remained silent.. Looking at Haman being pulled out of the court.

Then Superbook... Brought us back... In the present...

"Wow... So much for troubles..."Gizmo said...

"Kids! The food is prepared!"Mom shouted..

Oh yes... I even forgot my hunger!

"Coming mom!"I shouted..."well guys... Let's try that again when we have free time... Or waiting time haha.."

"Yep! And that was the best 3 time adventure ever!... E,except for the final battle which you have chosen!"Gizmo pointed at me.

"W,well haha! Let's just hurry downstairs and eat..."Joy said..

The day is pretty long... But it's pretty fun! I'll Hang on for a while since this day is pretty long ... Wait I already said that pretty long...

Advance goodnight since... I'm ending the day here... Next day? Let's see what can we do tomorrow!
