Today was my wife's birthday. Money's been really tight lately, and I almost didn't get her anything. The girls and I though did pick out some flowers for her, and we made sure to show them off to the family when Jodi and the girls joined them for Taco Bell lunch today.

I love my wife, and I want to make sure I'm always showing her that love no matter what, even if it's in little, simple ways that should otherwise have more meaning.

Insight for the day: NEVER fail to show your love for those closest to you, ESPECIALLY on their birthday. It may only be small ways that are possible, but do it anyway. It'll be the smaller, simpler things that they'll remember most often if you do or don't do them.
