I learned an interesting topic when studying the Priesthood out of the Bible Dictionary this morning. I may have to verify this with someone more versed in the Priesthood than me, but essentially I learned that the Aaronic Priesthood was created because the people failed to listen to the Savior the first time, so He had to created a Lesser Priesthood for people to start paying attention, much for the same reason that the Law of Moses was instituted because the Children of Israel failed to follow the Higher Law, or the Ten Commandments.

Insight for the day: This study was out of the Bible Dictionary, not the Standard Works. DON'T discredit the BD, because it'll always have more wisdom in its pages than we give it credit for.
