I received some very disappointing news today when I found out that another employee once again was promoted to Lead position and yet I was not. I was very frustrated and for a while I was quite miserable because I'd been passed over again, especially since I've been working hard for a year and a half now to get better, but I keep seeing other people get promoted.

In the end though, the employee that was selected and was well-deserving of the position, so it was easier for me to support him. Still, I was very disappointed that I'd been passed over again. I'm talking with my Supervisor on Tuesday though and hopefully we'll come to a solution and get down to the bottom of what's still holding me back.

Insight for the day: When you receive bad news, don't just sit and mope and moan. Do something about it whether you can do it right away or not. But do something about it. Don't just sit and stew and fester and brood.
