Day 2: Lord's Prayer

How did you do with making Matthew 6:9-13 your prayer?

Now that we have a high-level view of the Lord's Prayer, we can begin unpacking it!

We can learn a great deal from the Lord's Prayer, the model prayer, Matthew 6:9-13, NASB. The first thing is that if we are to structure prayer, we should begin with an acknowledgement of the One to whom we are talking - God, our Father. We should also include adoration, such as "Hallowed be Your name." We are to glorify and worship His name, His very Being.
