Too much busy to ask?

Today's Scripture:

John 14:13-14, NLT

"You can ask for anything in my name, and I will do it, so that the Son can bring glory to the Father.

Yes, ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it."

Observation:

The Bible says that even before we ask, He already knows what we desire. But still, He wants us to ask first. Why?

Because He is testing how much we believe that He can do impossible things. It's a matter of faith.

So many times we miss out on God's best simply because we never ask him for it.

Be reminded that God is not a genie that answer requests in a snap. He is looking out in the intention of your heart.

Does your prayer is beneficial not only for you but also for others?

Will you give the glory to the Lord after all the victories that He might given to you?

"And even when you ask, you don't get it because your motives are all wrong-- you want only what will give you pleasure." (James 4:3, NLT)

Application:

Are you too much busy to ask? Why can't you just give God a simple prayer?

Not scripted, not repeated, not memorized, but comes from your heart.

Just like a little child asking to his Father.

God is waiting for you to ask.

Personally, I faced difficult situations that I couldn't imagine that I could solve on my own.

So I've prayed.

And God has answered in His right and perfect timing.

My life is a series of answered prayers.

I want God to do the same for you.

Will you ask him for his best for your life?

Prayer:

Dear God, I admit that I became too much busy to communicate with you. I became too much busy to pray and hear Your Word. Forgive me, Lord. I realized that apart from you I have no good thing. Give me the passion to pray not only for my own but for the good of the people around me. Give me the joy to read your Word daily. Thank you so much for the answered prayers and incoming victories. Thank you for moving every mountains that is on my way. I love you, Lord. I give you all the glory. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
