Day 1: People In Need

Today's lesson involves the importance of giving our time to people in need. We have been given a great amount that we must be willing to give back to those we can help.

Today's Bible Verse: Acts 20:35 - It is more blessed to give than to receive.

Today's Challenge: Today's action item will require you and your children to give time to those who need it. Do some research on volunteering opportunities in your town. Look up soup kitchens, food banks, homeless shelters, and so on. Schedule time for you and your children to serve the community.

Today's Journal Question: At the end of the day, grab your journal to reflect on your experience of giving time to those in need. Then, have your child answer this question: what was your favorite part of today from giving food, clothes, time, etc...? Share tid-bits from your reflection or any additional thoughts in the comments!
