DARE#2

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful.

Peace and Blessings of Almighty Allah(ﷻ), be upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), his blessed descendants and his noble companions.

السلام عليكم ورحمةالله وبركاته○

My dear lovely sisters,

Alhamdulillah we have been working on DARE#1 since last week but still we need more progress for a healthy daily routine. In Shaa Allah lets keep on progressing it, while performing the DARE#2 simultaneously.
In Shaa Allah!

If you are willing to continue DARE#1,
You can start your "Daily Record" of sleeping early and waking up early for week -2 👉 here!
(You can leave an inline comment beside this paragraph to see your progress in this second week for DARE#1)

Eg:
Inline comment: 'DARE#1 -2nd Week'

Daily records :
Mon -
Slept - 12:04 a.m
Woke up - 4:04 a.m

Now lets go for DARE#2 !

As soon as you wake up! what is the very first sunnah which comes to your mind?

Come on! Give a guess!

Yes, you are right if its the sunnah of cleaning your mouth using siwak!

"Whenever the Exalted Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) would wake up from his sleep, he would use the Miswak."

[Sunan Abu Dawud, Page 54, Hadith 57]

"Make use of Miswak necessarily because it cleans your mouth and pleases Allah."

[Musnad Imam Ahmad, Vol. 2, Page 438, Hadith 5869]

'Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said,

"Never woke from sleeping at any time of the day or night without cleaning his teeth with a Miswak before performing ablution."

To perform Miswak after sleeping when one awakes is a Sunnah. Whilst asleep the bad odours from the stomach comes towards the mouth which is why the mouth smells. With the blessings of this Sunnah the mouth will be cleansed.

Now tell me whether you have used Miswak/ Siwak already?

How you feel when you use it?

Subhaan Allah the pleasure you get when you use miswak is undescribable, when you know that you are PLEASING Almighty Allah by that act of using siwak to clean your mouth is the greatest motivation to keep you doing that!

Subhaan Allah!

The Beloved Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) states,
"Miswak is a thing that pleases the Merciful Lord."

[Sahih al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Page 637, Hadith 1933]

So it is obvious that one will reap endless bounties when the Lord Almighty is pleased.

Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (Radi Allahu Anhu) has narrated the following saying of the Holy Prophet (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam),

"Miswak is a means of the purification of your mouths and the pleasure of your Rabb."

[Sunan Ibn Majah, Page 2495, Hadith 289]

Imam Ahmed narrates from Ibn Umar (Radi Allahu Anhuma) that Rasoolullah (SallAllahu Alayhi wa Sallam) said,

'Make it a habit to perform Miswak, as it is a means of cleansing the mouth and a means of attaining the pleasure of Allah.'
[Musnad Ahmad, Vol. 2, Page 438, Hadith 5869]

Alhamdulillah I'm glad that Almighty Allah has chosen you to read this sunnah in the form of DARE#2 now its your choice to practice it and seek the pleasure of Almighty Allah!

DARE#2 - USING SIWAK

● Are you ready to accept DARE#2 ?

•If you are willing take part in this DARE#2, leave an inline comment here 👉
saying that "I'm ready for DARE#2"

• You have to use Siwak atleast in these following occasions in a day!

1- Upon awakening.

2- Before every prayers (atleast try to use it before every five time prayers)

3- Before sleeping.

4- Before recitation of Qur'an.

There are more instances where you can use siwak and is sunnah to use, In Shaa Allah I will mention all other instances of usage of siwak in the next chapter. For now, lets atleast try to use siwak in these prescribed instances.

Its your duty to keep in mind that you perform this deed to please Almighty Allah and Miswak is the means of gaining Allah's pleasure so you will love to perform this sunnah with a full heart.

IN SHAA ALLAH!

■How can I perform this Dare? How should I record my daily recordings of this DARE#2 ?

Its simple!
You have to maintain your daily records at your inline comment in the form of replies to your inline comment,

"I'm ready for DARE#2"

• You need to mention the number of MISSED OCCASIONS of using miswak.

• If you did not miss any ocassion of using miswak simply you can leave the reply as "0"
and if you just missed only one instance then you can reply as "1" to your inline comment of DARE#2.

• Even if you missed to use miswak for one prayer you are counted as you missed one instance!

• And you have to leave an inline comment "missed" when you missed each instance at specific place its mentioned. For ex; if you missed to use siwak before sleeping, you have to leave an inline comment as "Misssed" at the instance-3 mentioned above!

Hope its clear now! If the rules are not clear or if you have any questions regarding that please you can ask here!

●Do you know that?

Seventy Extra Rewards For One Salaah is gained by Using siwak before each prayer!

'Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) has reported that,

"The prayer before which the Miswak is used is seventy times more excellent than that before which it is not used."

Ibn Abbas, 'Ali and Ata (may Allah be pleased with them all) state that,

"But it increases to 99 or 400 times."

This reward is based on sincerity, the more sincerity you have the more reward you get, it may be that you can get 70, 99 or even 400. Subhan Allah!

• Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), said that,

"If I had not found it hard for my followers or the people, I would have ordered them to clean their teeth with Miswak for every prayer."

Hope you take this deed seriously and try to perform it daily and make it one of your beautiful habit!

In Shaa Allah!

ALL THE BEST!

Note: This is a simple book to motivate you to perform the daily sunnahs and bring you closer to Almighty Allah and make you one of the beloved Ummah (nation) of following sunnahs of Prophet Muhammad (), It has been only a year journey in wattpad and I'm so glad that Almighty Allah gave me this beautiful oppurtunity to spread what I have learnt! "سُبْحَانَكَ اللْهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ، أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ"

'Glory be to You O Allah, and with Your praise, I testify that there is no God (worthy of worship) except You, I seek Your forgiveness, and I repent to You.'
