CHAPTER 39: HEAVEN

SORCHA'S POV

There was something different with the way Daze kissed me. It wasn't like before, when the kiss was more of an exploration. It wasn't like those times when it felt like we were running out of time. It wasn't done in a hurry, and instead Daze is taking his precious time like we have all the time in the world while I feel like I'm going to self-combust at any moment.
