AUTHOR'S NOTE

Isa na namang libro ang natapos natin. We're halfway to finishing this series which is surprising considering aside from BHO CAMP ay hindi madali sa akin ang magsimula ng panibagong series. And yet we are all here, still enjoying the characters' aliw moments, mga pagsulpot ni Lush, and of course the world of the green flag (with a bit of grayish color *insert Coal drunk accent*) siblings. Ang berde na bandila na sana ay mapanatili ko hanggang dulo XD

The moment I started this book, I knew it wouldn't just focus on Mireia's current situation. Her conflicts rely heavily on her past. Something that most of us possibly experienced too. Hindi man katulad ng naranasan niya pero halos lahat tayo ay may mga nakaraan na kapag naaalala natin ay nasasaktan pa rin tayo. This story also showed a different kind of pain, which is grieving. May it be from the loss of a loved one or losing a piece of ourselves.

We look at pain as something negative. After all, we feel this kind of emotion during tough times or moments when we are struggling.

In a world we're living in right now where it's easy to hate even those we don't know personally, a world where being right is more full of arrogance than having the grace to enlighten, a world where it's so easy to inflict hurt behind the screen of our devices because we're not afraid of the consequences... it's easy to look at pain in a dark light.

Pain is an integral part of life, but not in the way we are doing it now.

It should exist to show us compassion, it should teach us to pay attention, and from it we should learn not to repeat our mistakes again. Everyone of us is already going through something we can't speak about. Let's not be the reason that a person loses their light because of our actions and words.

Giving someone a listening ear could be hard. Doing the right thing wouldn't be easy. The burden of reaching out to others could be taxing. But one day, we will be in a position where we will need other people too. Hindi natin gugustuhin na kapag dumating sa punto na iyon ay tayo na ang walang malapitan.

It's okay not to be able to sometimes. May mga sarili rin tayong problema. It doesn't have to be everytime. What matter is we're open to understand. That we don't use other people to lessen our own pain by hurting them.

The most important part of learning is our willingness to try. Everything begins with compassion, and it's never too late to try to start with it.

Thank you, BHOCAMPERS, for finishing this book with me. You are the light that has been with me through all these years. The path wasn't easy, it wasn't smooth sailing, and it wasn't pain-free, but through all that I got to have you, and it was more than enough for me.

Until the next book ♡

Love,

MsButterfly
