Back ground time!
Mudkit is born to Fawncall along side Dashkit, Dragonkit, and Pheonixkit. He was the biggest kit, often accidentally crushing his smaller, weaker littermates, preventing them from getting all the milk they needed. When he realized it was ultimately his fault his late littermates were dead and Dashkit was a dwarf he was terrified of himself, and promised never to kill another cat. Even when he hunts, he feels guilty. When little Bluekit is thrown into the nursery, Mudkit believes he is getting a second chance at making sure all his siblings survive. He stays by her side, despite her complaints. Mudpaw's other friend is a tiny she-cat named Jadepaw, who he also likes to take care of. She's a little weird though, and she thinks very highly of  herself. After being mocked mercilessly by Dashpaw and his friends, Bluepaw runs into the forest, and Mudpaw follows. He helps her escape from Doveface's wrath and report him to Wingstar.
