Relationship Education

"I know you're excited son, but you've got to remember this is only your first date. You must watch what you're doing. No belching or farting ... don't let her pay for anything, I've put an extra hundred in your account to make sure of that. Don't give her a red rose straight away, it seems some girls surprisingly don't like that, and don't forget that you're still young so if you do anything make sure you wear -"

"Ew, dad, no-"

"You're young and you have hormones, just keep it covered."

Louis groaned and placed his hands over his face. When his father wanted to speak to him before his first big date with Bella, he didn't expect this. He thought it would be more of a 'How to be an Agreste gentleman' not a 'don't give me grandkids yet' Speech.

He was seventeen, he wasn't stupid. He had dreams and ambitions, there was no way he would mess it up ... for Bella too. He knew she wanted to be a music teacher and he knew she didn't want to get married and have kids for years yet, and neither did he. Plus they weren't in complete lack of control of their hormones, they had some restraint. Which seemed to be a lot different to his father.

"Dad, it's a first date! I'm more worried about whether I should kiss her at the end or not?"

"You definitely should," Emma walked into the room and sat on the edge of Louis' bed as her twin paced the floor.

"Louis, myself and your mother, well ... sometimes things just happen."

"Oh my God, dad! Don't! Please, I beg of you!" Emma looked at Louis eyes wide open and used their twin telepathy.

"How long has this conversation been going on?"

"Too long."

"Dad, Lou's going on a first date! He's not going to want to get into her pants." Emma, of course, had her father's directness, whereas Louis suddenly went such a vibrant shade of red Emma thought her brother's head was about to explode. He was one hundred percent Marinette, and the only way they would end up doing anything is if he tripped and fell into that position.

"I know it's a first date," Adrien said, folding his arms across his chest, "but that doesn't stop the want to get closer. Me and your mother weren't even dating the first time we did it."

"Oh my God!" The twins shouted out in unison, both slapping their palms over their faces.

"We weren't even of legal age either, you can't always plan for when things happen." Adrien stated so matter of factly both twins were sure he'd gone insane. How could he talk about something so calmly? Especially something illegal, he was a superhero, he should know better.

"Did grandfather never give you the talk?" Adrien burst out laughing at Emma.

"Grandfather just didn't talk full stop."

"What about with your friends?" Louis asked "or Grand-père?"

"Your mother and I were the first to do anything like that out of our friendship group. It was during a time the battles got harder and more complicated and it was a stress relief," Adrien said, smugly, "a damn good one too."

"You used maman then?" Emma asked, parting her fingers to attempt to look at her father.

"What?" Adrien shrieked, "no! She used me! I was begging for a relationship with her."

Louis moved his hands away from his face and positioned himself to sit next to Emma on the bed.

"Maman used you then?" He questioned his dad, eyebrows turning into a frown. He looked so much like a confused Marinette, Adrien almost laughed.

"Multiple times," he answered honestly. "She wouldn't date me at the time. Said it'd blow up the sun."

At that exact moment Marinette was walking passed, her hands full of laundry. "Moon!" She shouted as she passed.

"Wow, dad, how desperate were you?" Emma asked, looking at her father in a completely new light. "Letting maman use you just because ..."

Adrien leaned back in the chair and looked at his daughter and son.

"I was a famous model, I could have had anyone I wanted." He shrugged his shoulders going into defense mode. "I just chose your mother instead. She needed it more than me."

Both kids burst out laughing. They knew the stories of their father and how he would have followed their mother anywhere just like a lost kitten. "That's so not true," Louis claimed through laughter.

"It was quite obvious you would have been there for Maman every beck and call."

"Hey!" He exclaimed, "I dated other women too. Even whilst I was, you know, stress relieving your mother."

Marinette came back and leaned against the doorframe and looked at her children ganging up on her husband. He was such an easy target sometimes.

"You had one failed relationship with Kagami before anything happened with us, and then you fake dated Lila to appease your father and keep the spotlight off me. You knew your father thought I was Ladybug and you did everything you could to stop him from figuring it out. Which was really sweet by the way." She walked towards her husband and placed a kiss on his cheek. The doorbell rang and she began to make her way out of her son's room. "Oh Lou," she stopped and turned to face him before leaving, "your father is right though. Make sure you're safe, I'm not going head to head with Kagami."

The teen groaned again and covered his face.

"I can take Luka though so don't worry," Adrien leaned forward and patted his son on the shoulder.

"I'm so glad I'm not the one having this conversation," Emma laughed and leaned back on her hands looking at her beetroot of a brother.

"Yeah, well, perhaps if dad found out about Billy Kantè.." Emma shot up straight and looked at her brother. Suddenly her mouth was opening and closing, a lack of sound coming out, before she turned to look at her father.

Adrien was raging.

"Who's touching my little girl?" His voice was booming, and both teens had never seen their father so angry. Adrien stood up and began to pace the room, one hand behind his neck in his nervous tick. "Billy Kantè, why does that sound familiar? Billy Kantè, Billy Kantè, Billy ..." his head shot up and he looked his daughter in the eye completely shocked, before bursting out laughing. "William? Max's kid? No way! Yeah, I'm not worried." Adrien sat back down on his chair, continuing to laugh and talk out loud. "Max's kid wouldn't even know where to -"

"Ms. Bustier caught them round the back of the school last week ... that's why Emma had detention." Louis was being the worst twin ever throwing his sister under the bus like this, but at least the attention was off him and his up and coming date.

"Marinette?" Adrien shouted standing up from the chair, "get Max on the phone now!" He stalked out the room in search of his wife as the twins sat staring at each other. Louis was sure if looks could kill he would most certainly be six feet under right now.

"I hate you," Emma said.

"Yeah, well, at least Maman will probably give you the relationship talk. It can't be worse than dad telling you about his teenage urges." They both shivered before bursting out laughing.

"Do you think Grand-mère and Grand-père had any idea they were doing that?" Emma asked her brother, resting her head on his shoulders.

"Oh come on, Maman was sneaking out as a superhero saving the world for most of her life, they probably had no idea."

"That's not exactly true," Sabine stood in the doorway of her grandson's room, "you see, your Grand-père is the reason we found out their identities. Fathers don't respond well to hormonal teenage boys getting friendly with their daughters. I've never seen your father move so swiftly."

Tom suddenly appeared next to his wife in the doorway. "Ar, yes, Marinette had a lot of explaining to do that day, and Adrien had a hit sent out on his head."

Tom looked off into the distance a smile plastered on his face as he reminisced about the day he almost killed Chat Noir for the second time. He didn't need an akuma for this one though, just his bare bread making hands.

"Max, if your son so much as looks at my daughter again I will take care of things by 'cataclysm'ing him where it'll hurt!" Adrien's voice boomed up the staircase at a slightly terrifying volume as the twins looked at their grandparents and all four burst out laughing.

Adrien was a protective kitty and no one touched his daughter.
